Yes- he had 31 catches while leading the WR unit in snaps- he was in there to block on more snaps than he was to catch passes.

I like Keon and I think Palmer is a good (far from great) outside WR. A better outside target than Keon at the moment due to his ability to separate….whereas Keon doesn’t have much ability to get separation. I see Keon as a big Shakir with jump ball ability. Best in the slot but will play outside due to necessity. Get him the ball and let him run past/through the defenders. its pretty obvious to me based on what you wrote, that you just dislike Palmer as a player. So maybe you’re the one that is underrating Palmer. I like Keon plenty….i just think he has to improve his route running to play outside full time.
-
I think that’s higher end as well….for our offense. A run first, spread the ball around to keep the defense off balance type offense. regarding Mack’s PT….he was in there to block more than he was to catch passes….no?
-
Him being top 10 in some stats doesn’t prove that he and his QB are in sync…. He’s a talented TE. I’m not disputing that…... Watching the games last season, you thought Josh and Kincaid were on the same page? I most certainly did not
-
And then last year - 39% of the passes his way past 10 yards were uncatchable, including the pass that dalton had to dive for in which he was injured. I’m as big a Kincaid as you’ll find…..last year was painful to watch. Maybe they can figure it out again this year. But last year was gross as a Kincaid-a-holic.
-
Ideally, of course. Most likely? 🤷🏻♂️ I think it’ll come down to how Josh And Joshua gel. Some guys have natural chemistry (see Josh and Shakir). Some guys don’t (see Josh and Kincaid).
-
Why so low on Palmer? Maybe you’ve explained previously, but I missed it. The guy knows how to get open. I don’t why how anyone could out Keon over him (and I like Keon more than most). Palmer is a MUCH better route while also being faster. Similar hands

In term of ability- I’d give the most targets to Shakir Kincaid = Palmer Keon = healthy Samuel Knox Moore

Josh can get more out of a player than anyone….that doesn’t make Gabe a good WR2. If he was, Jax wouldn’t cut him and take on 14 additional million on the cap. He WAS our #2 and was not good.
-
No- Gabe is a poor WR2. Meh WR3 and decent WR4. Dude has boo boo’s on his feet 75% of every season which hurts his value in a big way. I’d take him back and let him run block and throw him an occasional PA bomb.
-
He’s go good that the jags decided not to take on his 6.9M cap hit. They’d rather eat 20M in dead cap to get rid of him. Basically gave him 1 year 39m. 🤣

@Mr. WEO is on the horn with Beane as we speak trying to convince him how good he is and that he needs to be brought back
-
We know!
-
Because he’s on the final year of his deal and they don’t want him in their locker room because he’s an idiot. If you don’t understand still, 🤷🏻♂️

I’ll always remember the “look how small Von Miller is conpared to Vincent Jackson (rip) in that pic. How can he be a good pass rusher? He’s too small” comments. Classic.

Good thing the nba and NHL playoffs are there to keep us sane

Of course being clutch matters. I’m not saying it doesn’t. As I’ve said before many times. But we’ve been clutch. Being clutch on offense means nothing when your D can’t keep a 3 point lead with 13 seconds left. In all likelihood, even if Josh had been clutch in the last 2 playoff losses, our defense would’ve lost it for him. We can judge based on history. And history suggests McD can’t stop Reid and Mahomes in the playoffs. The defense has been abysmal in every season ending loss since Josh’s ascension saving their worst for the biggest game. It’s the biggest reason we have no super bowls. Our WR unit carries some blame as well. Just not nearly as much. Every unit on D played much worse than our WR unit in our season ending losses. It was our best players that dropped passes and got blown up in pass pro.
-
Yes- again- I’ve acknowledged this many times. In the chiefs 2 Super Bowl losses the opposing QBs were sitting on the sideline watching their backups on their final drive iirc. It’s possible for teams to not need a final drive to be clutch vs KC. our defense is the biggest reason we haven’t beat KC in the playoffs. Disagree if you like. You’d just be wrong.
-
Yes, they did. I’ve acknowledged this many times. Not scoring on a drive in which you scored 29 points is different than allowing your opponent to score more points than they had all year. The year before, the KC offense obliterated our defense even worse. Both games without our best defensive player, Benford I don’t feel like we’ve lost ground to KC. They had a helluva draft, but don’t think they’ve upgraded their OL very much if at all. Also acknowledging that their offense could be better with rice and royals in the mix. I also think we had a helluva draft and upgraded our DL in a big way in the offseason. Our pass rush, on paper, is much better than last year imo. Our secondary is clearly better this year, unless you think Rasul Douglas is better than our new additions. Our LBs are the same and have a chance to be healthy. I will say, our offense didn’t get much better, if at all. The improvements will have to come from player progression. Possible.

💯 Giving up a season high points to KC in a game decided by 3. The offense wasn’t the problem. The defense and the health of the defense continues to lead to our demise. The bills have gotten 9 stops vs KC in the playoffs since the 21 playoff game. The eagles had 9 straight in the Super Bowl.

Think there’s any chance that RVD is OT3? I say that with the thought of possibly Grable transitioning inside to start at RG or LG. Unlikely, but just a thought. I don’t see us paying Torrance 20M aav. McGovern could demand close to that. If Edwards plays well he could demand 10M or more. He’ll be 29 chasing a first big payday. That said, I love the depth of this unit, especially the.potential our backups. I think Alec Anderson, Lundt and SVP could all take their game to the next level, partially due to the amount of competition. It’s difficult to keep 5 talented OLmen together. The IOL could change drastically in 2026. Could Grable be in the mix? I see the depth of IOL to be his biggest obstacle

Elijah Moore Visiting the Bills today (Update: Signed!)

I enjoyed watching this. I was a big fan of his coming out of college. While he may not be an “x”, he can play imo. -

I think Moore is more “likely” than Shenault. -
