  1. Counting on the defense to win us this game. If we win, major props to the D
  2. China!! Very cool. I was born in Dunkirk and my entire extended family (for the most part) lives there still. But I grew up in New Paltz NY, as we relocated for my fathers job. My mother was living in her house on Albany ave in Dunkirk until she became ill and couldn’t care for herself. I go back yearly to check on the tenants and maintenance
  3. Because it’s the NFL and anything can happen week to week, especially in divisional games. The Niners were without their QB, top 3 WRs, OL, their franchise DE and others on D, yet still beat the Rams, who would be undefeated if not for TWO blocked FGs The Pats are pretty good imo. Good HC, good offensive play caller, good DL and secondary plus a young QB that has all the tools to be great and excels at scrambling and converting 3rd down (which so happens to be our downfall).
  4. Congrats my guy!!! You are the newly appointed the VP of Uniform Satisfaction of the Sadness Brigade 😘 🤗
  5. That’s the first time I’ve heard that… and likely the last. No one cares about that except for patriot fans
  6. I fixed that for you. Working remote/ isn’t going away in all aspects.. Some of the jobs will be, 💯. You’ll always be able to make money online if you are motivated and have a computer and internet. And you’ll be able to live a decent life living on the beach while making $15-20 an hour. But I do get what you’re saying. Many jobs will be replaced. Time are a changing
  7. I don’t really value living near to close friends. I moved away from my close friends in recent years and I talk to them as much as I did when we lived in the same city. Family, on the other hand it a bit tougher. By the time we start traveling, I’ll be the last one of my immediate side of the family. My wife’s parents are 77 and her sister has a husband and kids. We may be moving up to live near them (outside of Portland Or) after this football season, but now they’re all talking about relocating to Bend OR. It’s gorgeous there, but it’s ridiculously expensive and we’ve decided it’s not worth our retirement to relocate there. If you get a remote job that pays as much as a non remote job in the US, you’ll be paying off you student loans much faster if you were living in SE Asia. That’s one of the reasons why so many expats are moving there in recent years. Affordability.
  8. Get a remote job and move yourself. You don’t need very much money to gtfo of here Thanks. Yeah, I was reading up and watching some videos on Ubud today. Definitely seems like a much more laid back vibe and right up our alleys.
  9. Very cool. I was born in Dunkirk and moved to Vegas in ‘98 after college. Similar story. Just moved to St. George Utah 2 years ago. Loving it here at the moment, but we’re ready to experience what the world has to offer. Not a fan of cultural climate in the states atm. I’m thinking we’ll be spending the late fall/winters in the states so we can travel the country and watch Bills games. I assume it’s possible to watch YouTubeTV in SE Asia if you have a VPN?
  10. Thank you for chiming in. I’ll be traveling there while already in SE Asia. We’re all about the beach life. 🏖️
  11. Really strange. Maybe they something we don’t know about Dorian’s and Milano’s injuries 🤷🏻‍♂️
  12. First and foremost, I appreciate your service 🫡 you can surely sympathize. Good on you and yours for helping him out when he needed. Turned that $20 spot into 200k if my math is right 🤔
  13. Thanks- yes, Boracuy is definitely in the discussion. It’s become very popular for expats
  14. Thanks for the advice. Yeah, I’ve heard that about pattaya. We’ve been talking about scratching it off the list and instead going to Koh Sanyo’s. Phuket seems like a vacation destination, which could be good for a month at a time
  15. I forgot you posted it, maybe @Thurman#1or @Simon, but they said that Josh has stated that he doesn’t like to turn his back to the defense. If this is true, it’s probably on Josh as to why we don’t run as much play action as we (as fans) would like.
  16. Likely going to keep the house in Dunkirk (currently living in St George Utah) as a home base in the states. we’re still in the planning/research phase. We’re going to SE Asia for approx 6 months. Likely 3 months in Thailand (Bangkok, Hua Hinn and Pattaya one month each), 1 month in DaNang Vietnam, 1 month in Canggu, Bali and 1 month in Malaysia, likely Langkawi and George Town. Then head back to the states for a few months before going to Italy for 6 months. Looking into cefalu, Tropeo, the amalfi coast and around Puglia. Back to states for a bit then eastern Mexico (if it seems safe at the time) and Costa Rica. Hopefully we’ll have some favorite cities by then and will travel between them for 6 months to a year at a time. my wife and I (51 and 46) don’t have children and are in a solid spot financially. We’ve been taking care of my mother for the last 3 years and it’s really made vacations and getting out to see the world difficult. So we decided to see it all when we are able. That’s the plan anyway
  17. People getting shot and stabbed on the reg in almost every state. The violence in this country is such a mess (among other things). Hoping this will be my last year living here fully time
  18. This patriot team isn’t as good as the ravens that we faced on opening day. Not even close, sorry. the ravens lost to the bills, Lions and Chiefs. You lost to the raiders and Steelers. To say that this iteration of the pats is better than the ravens team that we faced week one is a joke. I'm a huge Maye fan and I think that the game will be very close. We may even lose if we’re without Ed, Milano, both Dorians. Plus brown and sanders are tbd. But the ravens we faced are a better teams. Stop making sense. Dude is soaking up his massive win vs Carolina and not making much sense. As if the offenses that you play against don’t factor in to defenses point against.
  19. Both Hendrickson and the Simmons’. Justin and Jeffrey. If we’re going to add a safety, let’s do it soon so they can get their head in the playbook and learn the system
  20. There’s a chance that he might not want to join a ps and would rather sit and wait for the right opportunity, maybe due to injury. or maybe no one wants him. 😂 I’d feel a lot more comfortable about the S position if we had him. I was hoping for the 2024 version of Rapp. So far, it looks like we have the 2016 version of Donte Whitner. I’d love to see Hancock get a shot but I don’t thinks there’s any chance McD starts him over Rapp. What are the chances that Damar Hamlin is the reason we aren’t looking to upgrade Safety? If we signed someone, who would be cut? My vote would be Damar….Hancock is young, athletic and under rookie contract. Cam Lewis isn’t going anywhere. Ingram might cut when Hairston and the DL returns. Does the FO want Damar on the team and in the locker room at the expense of upgrading the position? Give me Simmons.
  21. He’s a difference maker in the run game. I think he’ll go down as a top 5 Beane draft pick, maybe higher. He should be on the field almost every run play, only a few without him to keep the D honest.
