  1. I can’t imagine him being better than James Cook. He just continues to get better I can’t recall reading about your Bosa forecasting.
  2. If he keeps playing like this, he’s going to keep a roster spot. I’m hoping we can make a trade or two before Hairston, Hoecht and Ohinjobi return. Too many players- not enough roster spots. Bass included.
  3. So you’re saying that there are multiple things we can upgrade to help our team win a SB…..not just adding an elite LB.
  4. I agree that Bosa is much more of a McD pro type type DE than Von.
  5. It’s odd to me that not having an elite off ball LB will keep us from winning a SB.
  6. @Billl thoughts on the chiefs being winless through 2 games? my thoughts are: they played 2 of the best teams in the league (yes, I think the chargers will be a contender this season) and almost won both. They are banged up at WR and the OL looks just as bad as last season. I don’t think Mahomes running this much is wise, but it will continue until rice comes back. He’s had no option but to run. Kelces blunders are hilarious. that said- they just have to make the playoffs and they’ll be a top contender to win it all. They have the track record to show that they get it done and luck is traditionally on their side.
  7. While I knew we wouldn’t be in the market for him, especially at 3-33M, I was also hoping I was wrong. I really like him and seems like a great culture fit. Plus he’s durable. having Bernard, Milano and Dorian plus paying Spillane would be too much to invest in the position imo. I agree- injuries, not having elite LB play, are key to winning the SB.
  8. We have little chance to win it all unless we acquire an elite off ball LB? That’s an odd take imo.
  9. Pre acl injury vs Detroit. He wasn’t even regarded fine vs the run as a Bill. He was borderline elite vs the run the previous 5+ seasons before joining the Bills
  10. You don’t agree that Von miller was a good run defender? Just wondering why, when he’s been known to be very good vs the run, that you would think he’s not?
  11. You just said “pre-injury”. Prior to his injury, as a Bill, Von had the 8th highest pff run grade for edge rushers at 78.2. Against, a very good grade. Throughout his career he’s been a great run defender. You can have the opinion that he wasn’t good vs the run, but that opinion would be wrong. He improved every year defending the run.
  12. Great game Tre. He made plays when they came his way. Solid tackling, which is what I was worried about. Keep it going
  13. We’re talking about his career- pre injury. He wasn’t even regarded as a “good run defender”. Most regarded him as an elite run defender. Just looked up his pff run grades throughout his career. His lowest was his rookie year and it was 79…..which is a great score. And that was his lowest.
  14. Agreed- this is what Atlanta has been waiting for. Sucks for them that cincis backup has shown he can win games and be competitive.
  15. @Mikie2timesyou can disagree- doesn’t make you less wrong. Von was a very good run defender throughout his career. That is a fact.
  16. I’d rather go with Browning. He might actually be the better QB at this point. He kept them in the mix 2 years ago. He’s proven to be a gamer and pretty solid in the 4th qtr of game. Kirk was pretty terrible last season coming off injury
  17. It’s be fun to watch the ravens trot out Lamar to pad his MVP stats in weeks 17-18 with a 3 game division lead and no chance at home field.
  18. Von Miller was great vs the run. Don’t equate size vs ability
  19. @Solomon Grundy James Cook >> Breece Hall yet?
  20. I can recall some here that wanted him gone when he decided to sit out practice in training camp. Trade him! 🤣 good thing that didn’t happen. He’s a bad man. I think there’s only a handful of RBs could’ve gotten into the end zone on his breakaway run today.
  21. He’s a force and the difference maker this defense needed. A healthy Bosa in the playoffs and we win the Super Bowl.
  22. I usually avoid game day threads, but wtf! We have Josh Allen….why run cook on 3rd and long unless you planned on going for it on 4th?
  23. Plus the fact that the odds of Tre being healthy come playoffs are slim and Hairston may not ever be up to speed this season, he may very well be our CB2 when it matters most
