  1. And what does this have to do with all the nonsense you spewed regarding the seriousness of the offenses!
  2. Mitchell vs Legette 2.0. I’d be happy with either guy. I like that Mitchell is 2.5 years younger. I like Legettes game overall
  3. Same here. If we could add a 3rd and still land Mcconkey, Legette, Mitchell, Franklin or worthy I’d be happy.
  4. Yes, I think Trevor Lawrence’s QB play will be inferior to the QB play that got Gabe his bag of money. lots of people have reason to believe he won’t live up to his contract. So yes, there are plenty of reasons to believe he won’t to just that. My very positive and overly confidant jags fan buddy was furious about the signing. gabe was a huge disappointment in Buffalo the second he became WR2. We/they/he had expectations for him and none of those expectations were met on the field other than his blocking. Gabe misses the KC playoff game, no one talks about. No one cares. Half of the fans were happy he was out. 95% of the fans that watched every game of his career couldn’t wait for him to play his last game in Buffalo. We breathed a sigh of relief when his jax signing was announced. He can thank Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs for his contract and I’ll be here to watch him not live up to it and be a free agent again in 2026 when the jags cut him after 2 seasons because of all the reasons I stated in my last post. I’m a fan of Gabe the man. I’m a fan of Gabe the WR4/5. I’m glad he got overpaid by and AFC contender and I’ll enjoy watching him not live up to his contract in Jax.
  5. Right, just like star Lotulelei had a market value of 5 years 50M and Jonnu Smith had a market value of 4 years 50M we could go on for hours about players not living up to their contracts. there’s plenty of reason to think he won’t live up to his contract. He’ll have inferior QB play; he has chronically injured feet; he has a career catch rate of 54%; we won’t be playing opposite an all pro WR; he wasn’t signed to be their WR2, he was signed to be their WR3 …..and then Ridley spurned the jags to sign with the titans.
  6. It’s not only a major mistake, but it’s a major mistake. He’s not worth even close to that amount of money. See Gabe Davis
  7. If we draft 2, I’m thinking it’s Ladd Mcconkey and Tez Walker. Franklin has the visits, so I see why you’d correlate him, but mcconkey is the best at getting open imo. i know you’re a big fan of him too. Just have a feeling it’s Franklin based on visits? I’d be fine with him, but if we took Tez in rd 2, I’d much rather have Ladd in rd 1
  8. You should’ve traded the pick to Washington. Major blunder for any team taking Daniels over Caleb and not getting something in return. Jmo
  9. If we traded a first (and possibly more) for Aiyuk AND paid him 25m+ a year I wouldn’t be happy. I’d consider giving them out 2nd rd next year for him, but we all know that isn’t happening we paid what we paid for Diggs partly because he was already on his and contract which was extremely team friendly. I’d rather have Legette then to pay a big price for BTj in a trade up. i would be ok if they decided to go all in on MHj, Nabers or Odunze. I think all 3 are potentially elite all pro level WRs with 17 and would be under control for 5 years
  10. Some do, but I think we’d have to trade up for him.
  11. That’s great news for all of us! No Keon Coleman for us
  12. yup. He can be a threat downfield as a 4.5 guys. He has the advantage in most jump ball situations based on his skill set and innate ability to track the ball. If we don’t land one of the top 4, I’d be ok trading back to draft him while getting an additional day 2 pick or more. I like Mitchell, Leggette and mcconkey more than Polk, but I like Polk and a day 2 pick more than those guys.
  13. Ja’lynn Polk. He has great hands, possesses physicality, run blocking ability, contested catches and is a threat downfield. And he already has an nfl body. That’s my guy.
  14. No thanks- we don’t need another slot/power slot guy
  15. Agreed. Hopefully one of those WRs is a 1st round pick that turns into an elite WR.
  16. The Kansas City Chiefs feel blessed to be able to select Javon Baker, WR, UCF. We stuck to our board in rd 1 and 2 and took who we thought were the best players and it turned out they were at premium positions (Edge and CB). Doing the same here. We didn’t think WR was as much of a need as the public so we banked on the depth of the position in this draft class and it paid off. Very happy with this selection. @mannc is on the clock
  17. But what happens if Kincaid blossoms into an all pro type TE, which many have expected? What happens if James Cook starts catching passes that he routinely caught in the past and stops fumbling? Both very possible. What happens when Milano and Bernard return and turn into a top 3 LB duo. What happens when Daquan and Ed play close to a full season together? Both very conceivable. What happens when Shakir, Samuel and a 1st rd WR allow us to spread the ball around more evenly and Josh doesn’t have the ire of Diggs lighting him on fire? What happens when Josh Allen becomes the best player on the planet? Certainly within reality. I get that we’re currently less talented roster than the roster we started last season with. My counter to that- I think we’ll have a stronger roster to start this season than we had vs KC in the playoff game. A game that was within reach vs the back to back champions. I don’t think you’re giving Josh Allen enough credit. I think 8-8 is our floor
  18. haven’t read much of this thread and it’s way too long to look through. How’s the dialog been between you chaps regarding the trade? prior to the trade @Warriorspikes51 @BillsFanForever19 After the trade @Warriorspikes51 @BillsFanForever19
  19. Benson has been terrible is pass protection. I guess it just depends what we got for Cook. I would think the most we’d get for him is a 4th. If that’s the case, I’d pass and keep cook. If we could trade cook for a 2nd, I’d do that in a heartbeat. Trading a non elite RB with 2 years of his rookie contract in the books is a no brainer all day every day. I love cook and I think he’s a stud. He may be top 5 RB in the league, but I don’t see him as elite atm. The dropped passes and fumbles have been crushing. I really like Benson. Possible star for sure. His style of play scares me though. So much contact. So many more opportunities for injury
  20. I like the player but can you imagine if we spent another day 2 pick on a RB? 😂 that would be brutal. Motor, Moss, Cook and now again? Awe hell naw!!
