  1. Yeah me too. I love porter. Age and experience are a little scary but I’d roll the dice on his traits with hopes mcd can coach him up. It’s a similar scenario with Elam. That didn’t work out and it may have cost us a Super Bowl. So I wouldn’t be surprised if they were be looking to add a more nuanced corner that has a better chance to step in and be good year 1. That’s assuming we don’t add a capable starter between now and then. But I expect Dane and Ingram to be the rookies primary competition I do like porter though. Would love him in rd 2
  2. It would be a mistake imo. Our young tackles look promising. This offseason is lining up to be your nemesis. It might not be at 30 but a corner is coming in rd 1 or 2 unless Beane adds a CB worthy or starting. Would you be ok with starting Dane Jackson at CB2?
  3. @Mr. WEO : @GunnerBill posted his mic drop rebuttal on 3/17- you didn’t reply to it at all. You were working “last night” huh? That’s one helluva shift from 3/17 until last night. Yes, what we call crickets.
  4. I love me some Ty. i LOOVED me some Fred. Two gamers I’m happy to root for
  5. Hahaha- just reading this now. Crickets since. 😂 he said 1 Takes it like a man and admits defeat- +775 Insists he’s right and moves the goalposts or finds one stat that suits his argument -900 Whatcha got?
  6. I’m not saying Davis is elite or not. I’d lean towards not, but using the ypc from last season doesn’t mean much. Davis had a much higher percentage of carries at the end of games with a lead. He ran into several brick walls vs defenses knowing we were killing clock. Edit: cook is clearly the better RB. His speed is different. I had hopes that we would retain him, but I don’t think we’re going to pay 15m aav. id be ok paying him 12ish
  7. That would be a debacle. I like the prospect but spending a 2nd on bishop and then a 1st on another safety the following year- while we have a solid safety in Rapp under contract for the next 2 years on a good deal would likely be a terrible allocation of assets. If he became the elite of the elite of the position, he could change that I suppose.
  8. If you’re going to use the catch % against you should also mention the rate of uncatchable balls thrown his way, unless you didn’t know it was the highest in the league amongst TE’s and among the highest in the league amongst pass catchers
  9. Shemar scares me too. Similar to how I felt about Josh Allen coming out of college. I didn’t feel like we could be so lucky to have the kid reach his true potential. I didn’t feel like our franchise would be able to develop him in that way. Maybe too big of a risk at this point? Or do we have to roll the dice on the possibly elite talent? I think another team will have already rolled the dice so we likely wont see what Beane would’ve done. His past has shown that he would roll the dice and bet on traits. The past has also shown he’s likely to draft for need and would draft the best available CB or DT
  10. Doesn’t really matter what you want. We’ll see how it plays out, but I’d be shocked if we invest another decent pick/more cap at the position for 2025 Rapp, Bishop, Forrest and Hamlin is likely out S room this season
  11. I think we got that middling WR in shenault. Aka, camp body. I expect us to draft a WR somewhere along the lines- The way I see it- Shakir, Palmer, Keon, Samuel are all locks. Draftee, Shenault, shavers, hamler, Virgil and other battling for the 5th spot. Maybe a 6th WR if one stands out on STs….but I doubt it Those looking for an upgrade are going to be sad. I could see drafting one, but I don’t think we’ll be adding a proven starter at this point. Better get used to our current S room
  12. Monster 1Ts are not McDs thing. I wish he was more open to it, I think we need a monster (in ability and size) 1T. Maybe watching Philly will make him reconsider. those are the 3 monsters I see as worthy of 30. Are there any other DTs you’d like at 30?
  13. Grant >>> Harmon > Collins are the guys that I’d be very excited about at 30. Prefer to trade back and get a 3rd if we were fixated on DT @30. I expect there to be some CB’s, Edge’s (or golden or burden) rated higher than the other DTs that fit what we need. I think we can grab a solid DT in rd 2 or later. Nolan is the outlier. He’s not the perfect fit due to his size, but he and ed side by side on passing downs with Bosa and Rousseau could be formidable. I wouldn’t be angry, as he could be bpa.
  14. Hopefully we can add a developmental burner on day 3. I think Shakir, Keon, Palmer and Samuel are all viable playmakers if used correctly
  15. Knox is going nowhere Such a disappointing season
  16. Hopefully they get rid of Hendrickson for a 3rd
  17. I’ve wanted him every year he’s been available. Great locker room presence that just so happens to be a wall of force. Not the pass rusher he once was- but he’s still a guy that can make an impact bs the run and pass.
  18. 19.4 pass block grade 😂
  19. I’d love to add him- I don’t think there’s enough money or enough interest from Beane.
  20. That’s what he is. Idiots will be idiots.
  21. Not even close, minus the extra biscuits part
  22. I was just about the write something similar. Thanks for saving me some time.
  23. Yeah- I think he’s a camp body at this point. Tavon Austin type- roll the dice and hope, but I doubt he makes the team. he was really fun to watch at Colorado. Probably doesnt have the route running to get open in the nfl
