  1. Agree. I’d rather have him than AJ. He has explosion and burst with the ability to impact the QB quickly. that said- I don’t think there’s any chance that happens.
  2. I think he’s done a very good job so far this offseason. I was hoping we’d be able to snag one of the top edge rushers- as it turns out- none of them were really available (I don’t think Hendrickson would’ve been traded to Buffalo). Sweat is solid, but dude had 8.5 sacks on a stacked DL. Is he really that good? He joined his old coach in Az, so I don’t think he was so much of a possibility unless we overpaid. Considering what was available, I think we did great with Bosas deal. Sure, he could get injured and be a wash, but it would only affect us for a year. Hoecht seems like an overpay to many based on what he’s accomplished…. But he could easily outperform that contract. I think he’s going to be a favorite amongst us. LAAAAAARRRRRRY seems like a bit of an overpay, but again, 1 year. Not so bad. Most of us want a big space eater, but McD wants DTs that can move, not behemoths that can’t rush. Larry can get some pressure. I expect Beane to draft Bosas and Larry’s heir apparents.. When they leave next year, they’ll be ready to go next year- if not earlier. Palmer gets open. He can get deep. He plays on the outside. He has good hands. He’s a great kid. He’s not a burner, but that can still be added. Love the signing even if it may be an overpay at the moment. love me some Ty Johnson. 2.5M is a nice deal for what he brings to our team. Forrest looks like a diamond in the rough. Love this signing. bringing Damar back can’t hurt. Haven’t seen the money, but I don’t expect it to be much. Losing Mack hurts me a lot. Really bummed we lost him, but I figured someone would pay him more than we’d be willing to pay. Really sucks that it’s a division opponent. We’re going to miss his blocking and low key Sr skills. we need a corner- I expect us to sign Dane Jackson or Rasul and draft someone. That may be a mistake if the draftee isn’t capable of starting this season. Whomever is playing opposite Benford will be attacked- they need to be able to play. I hope we can land Samuel, but I expect him to be paid more than we can afford ill give our offseason a B+ at the moment. We were just 15M over the cap and have given out over 40M in contracts.
  3. Excited to be able to scream LAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaRRRRRRYYYYY!!!
  4. Love these kind of signings. Zero risk with solid upside possibilities. Possibly Poyer 2.0
  5. Certainly hope so. I love this DT class
  6. Hence my post- I can’t see them NOT drafting one
  7. Yeah- similar to Keon. Looked good pre-injury and then lost afterwards.
  8. I’m happy with this. Versatile- can play some 3 and 1. like many have said- not the space eater we’ve been thinking about, but this draft has a fair share of them. I’d expect one to be drafted
  9. I can’t see them not drafting one.
  10. One year in and his career is over? Meh
  11. Missed that one. Sigh. Glad we didn’t pay that much though
  12. He’s probably the highest ceiling vet we could’ve added at this point. I don’t see Hendrickson as an option. I should be really excited about this, as he was on my wish list, but I have visions of him being injured come playoffs. He’s a needle mover and I give Beane credit.
  13. Was hoping for more. I like the players and feel that both will fill specific roles.
  14. Cook and 30 isn’t nearly enough. Imo
  15. Perfect. Was thinking someone might offer him 3-4 after seeing Perines contract.
  16. I think there’s some doubt that Barron even makes it to us at 30 tbh. If it were a lesser CB draft I think he’d be a sure fire top 25. I agree that moving back may very well happen due to the options at CB and DL in rd 2. I do think that he will take the top realistic DT on his board if he’s there. There’s lots to like.
  17. I love this CB draft class. These kids are smooth movers.
  18. And how well Kupp can play on the outside. I think Palmer is a better fit for this offense
  19. You’re right, we can. Always love your optimism bud
  20. 💯 would’ve been nice to have a shiny new sports car.
  21. I said- He’s a great separator. He has great hands. He can get deep. He can get open 10-20 better than 90% of the league. there are stats littered throughout this thread that say otherwise on the first 3. Can he get open 🚕 10-20 better than 90% of the nfl is certainly debatable. I’ll give you that. But there are stats that suggest that he was last season Every nfl analyst I’ve seen so far thinks this is a good deal and thought he was a very good underrated player. Some players need a change of scenery to flourish. He’s always impressed me and I’m happy he’s a Bill Palmer is an inside guy? Or he was an inside guy when Keenan Allen got hurt?
  22. Ok- none of this is true even though there are statistics that say they are true. Many people who know football think it’s true. Or maybe I should take the BeastMasters word for it
  23. I’d rather Cisco over Holland but Hendrickson would be amazing. I don’t see it happening. I think we might be done with DE until the draft
  24. This is what I think as well. Edge on run downs that can shift inside on pass downs.
