Write off the Bills? I’m certainly not writing off the Bills. I’m VERY confidant that we will win the Super Bowl this season. I don’t understand why people are writing off the chiefs. They’ve been written off since they traded Tyreek. Their offense has been better than average at best- until the playoffs. Then they find a way. They always find a way- partially due to luck- partially due to elite coaching- partially due to making clutch plays. yes- they’re 0-2 and a tougher division now. I get it. But they’re also trying to gel their OL and are without their top 2 WRs. If there’s a team that deserves the benefit of the doubt- it’s the chiefs. But again- I truly believe we will win the SB this season. We just have to stay healthy enough. Losing Benford in the playoffs, again, will probably end our season, again. We need some luck. Champions usually do

The Chiefs were without their WR1 last season. Losing Rice is a massive blow to the offense. Hollywood missed almost all of last season too (while I’m not. Hollywood guy myself, they were counting on him. Their OL was bottom tier. and they still beat us when it mattered. Our defense got rollled by an offense that couldn’t getting rolling all season. It was on us to make plays and we didn’t make enough. if the argument is that they won’t make the playoffs- I’ll believe it when I see it. Two years ago- come November, we were on the outside looking in at even making the playoffs. We turned it around and actually hosted KC in the playoffs. Their O wasn’t very good that year either. And we still lost.

Ok- if that’s the case with Keon, what about Diggs? We traded a 1st + 4th, 5th, 6th for Diggs and a 7th. Yet according to the logic he’s using, means nothing as far as draft investment because we didn’t actually draft him
-
We used a 1st rd pick on Keon Coleman. He just wasn’t drafted in the 1st round. we used a 1st plus other picks to land Diggs. You’re debating semantics. Looking for a loophole. But there’s no loophole in logic. When the discussion revolves around the investment of draft picks the team has made into the WR position, you can’t remove Keon and Diggs for the discussion just because they weren’t actually drafted in the 1st rd by the bills. The bills acquired them by INVESTING first round picks. Thats the discussion. Don’t be stupid

That was the case last week with the 4th qtr being garbage time and also with EO injured. All the starters played 67% vs the ravens iirc. Until Hoecht is available, I think the starters will continue around 67%- at that point, I think the DE’s may rotate more
-
Iirc, we targeted TEs 12 times last week and the WRs 11 times. I think 13 personnel will continue to become more and more prevalent as the season goes on as long as we remain healthy at TE.

He’s 💯 going to have a tremendous season for us- as long as he’s healthy

Not to mention that he called KB a free agent. welcome to the board! Can’t recall seeing you before. Lucky me

9/14/25 Week 2 GAMEDAY Bills @Jets post game Thread

I can’t imagine him being better than James Cook. He just continues to get better I can’t recall reading about your Bosa forecasting. -
Any thoughts on Dorian Williams about to be starting again?
NewEra replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hope he does good 😀 -
If he keeps playing like this, he’s going to keep a roster spot. I’m hoping we can make a trade or two before Hairston, Hoecht and Ohinjobi return. Too many players- not enough roster spots. Bass included.

So you’re saying that there are multiple things we can upgrade to help our team win a SB…..not just adding an elite LB. -

I agree that Bosa is much more of a McD pro type type DE than Von. -

It’s odd to me that not having an elite off ball LB will keep us from winning a SB. -
@Billl thoughts on the chiefs being winless through 2 games? my thoughts are: they played 2 of the best teams in the league (yes, I think the chargers will be a contender this season) and almost won both. They are banged up at WR and the OL looks just as bad as last season. I don’t think Mahomes running this much is wise, but it will continue until rice comes back. He’s had no option but to run. Kelces blunders are hilarious. that said- they just have to make the playoffs and they’ll be a top contender to win it all. They have the track record to show that they get it done and luck is traditionally on their side.

While I knew we wouldn’t be in the market for him, especially at 3-33M, I was also hoping I was wrong. I really like him and seems like a great culture fit. Plus he’s durable. having Bernard, Milano and Dorian plus paying Spillane would be too much to invest in the position imo. I agree- injuries, not having elite LB play, are key to winning the SB. -

We have little chance to win it all unless we acquire an elite off ball LB? That’s an odd take imo. -

Pre acl injury vs Detroit. He wasn’t even regarded fine vs the run as a Bill. He was borderline elite vs the run the previous 5+ seasons before joining the Bills -

You don’t agree that Von miller was a good run defender? Just wondering why, when he’s been known to be very good vs the run, that you would think he’s not? -

You just said “pre-injury”. Prior to his injury, as a Bill, Von had the 8th highest pff run grade for edge rushers at 78.2. Against, a very good grade. Throughout his career he’s been a great run defender. You can have the opinion that he wasn’t good vs the run, but that opinion would be wrong. He improved every year defending the run. -
Who would you rather start vs the Jets? Tre’Davious or Strong
NewEra replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall
Great game Tre. He made plays when they came his way. Solid tackling, which is what I was worried about. Keep it going -

We’re talking about his career- pre injury. He wasn’t even regarded as a “good run defender”. Most regarded him as an elite run defender. Just looked up his pff run grades throughout his career. His lowest was his rookie year and it was 79…..which is a great score. And that was his lowest.
