  1. Yeah- he needs to hit on star soon
  2. I think we should sign Hollins and Brown and not spend a top 4 round draft pick on a WR. Brown would replace cooper and give us an added dimension of speed and an outside threat for defenses to account for. Our offense was good last year. And a 2nd rd rookie wouldn’t get many snaps. Best going DL or corner. Bringing back what we had while replacing cooper with brown would suffice. —- until Brown inevitably gets hurt. 🤣
  3. Hopefully we aren’t in this position as we will have traded the pick for Myles Garrett 🙏🏻
  4. Depends who’s available but I’d most likely make the trade
  5. I don’t think anyone is untouchable minus Allen, Dawkins and Brown.
  6. Pass rush was my biggest worry going into the season and it proved to be not good enough.
  7. The last 3 (first) picks have yielded zero to date-agreed. Rousseau is a beast and was a great pick. definitely somewhere in between A and B. In the regular season- the defensive coaching does the job vs KC. Then get picked apart in the playoffs. Then again, which players have made huge plays on D for us in the KC playoff games? Phillips made one this year. Poyer made one last year. We need guys to make big plays. Maybe that’s coaching…..maybe not
  8. Yet 90% of this board would’ve died if we didn’t take a WR- because the only way to beat KC is to outscore them a because KC is going to score on everyone when it matters. Right? Wrong. We needed more balance. we were all offense and no defense in a season in which we were supposed to have no offense…..because “it’s a passing league” and we don’t have WRs…..but we have an OL and dam good RBs and the best QB. But that didn’t matter because we could stop a team that didn’t score 31 all season and allowed them to score more than they had all season
  9. All depends on the game plans, who came up with big plays and who was healthy for us. Predicting either way is meh.
  10. I wanted Dejean last year too. i didn’t say that we should only draft defense…. I said building the defense needs to be the focus. So many talking about how pass rush doesn’t even matter because Mahomes gets the ball out so fast- nonsense. If you have a beast pass rush and a proper scheme- you’ll get sacks and stops. Philly lucked into Mitchell and Dejean imo. Both should’ve been draft higher than they were. Howie was shrewd in trading up with a division.rival yo get Dejean. Landing Fangio was the icing on the cake.It took him 8 times to finally beat Mahomes, but he was a difference maker. Defense wins the SB- and so many just want to load up on O and add to the 2nd highest scoring offense in the league.
  11. Like I sad- defense needs to be the focus this offseason.
  12. That’s some crappy news
  13. But they’ll never be regarded as better because accolades certainly do matter. Who’s better, Mahomes or Allen? I think Allen is. I’m sure you do to. But that’s not what matters most. Showing that you can get the job done matters.
  14. Thanks for clearing that up- sorry for the poor post. I listen at 4am on the way to work- brain clearly not functioning 🤣
  15. Joe Marino went over Mahomes’ stats vs man and vs zone vs us and he was much better vs zone. I forget which episode
  16. Do you have Mahomes’ stats vs one zone and vs our man from the afccg? Pretty sure he was much better vs our zone than our man. we were also without Benford bs KC. My narrative isn’t that we play a too soft of a zone. My narrative is that we need to mix is more man and be more multiple to keep offenses guessing. I’m looking forward to what Nelson can bring to the table and I’m happy that McD added him to the staff. I like what he brings to the table.
  17. Agreed. Our stunt usage was WAY down this year to my eye. Does anyone have access to that type of stat?
  18. Disagree- IS he the better QB? Yes- I agree, Allen is better than Favre— but accolades matter. Lombardis matter more than any of the accolades when it comes to QBs. Can’t put Allen ahead of Favre until he, at least, leads his team to a Super Bowl imo Agreed. Warner was amazing and, at his best, might even be top 10 in my book.
  19. Definitely being very gracious.
  20. The worst was listening to Orlovsky explain himself as he educated the buffoons on the set as to what the award is: “Most valuable”. Then listening to foxworth and other guy (didn’t know who it was, I listened in the car) aft as if that’s just semantics. As if there can’t actually a difference between 1st team all pro and MVP. Funny how they didn’t bring up Lamar winning last year, while CLEARLY not having the best season, rather just winning the award for being the QB for a #1 seed. imagine a world in which Lamar Jackson’s resume includes 3 MVPS while Josh’s resume includes 0. I wonder what percent of the nfl execs would take Lamar over Josh. I’d think maybe 20% if I’m being gracious
  21. Underwhelming? I heard he was way better than Bowers and Laporta
  22. You think we would trade for Crosby AND draft a DT in rd 1? 🤷🏻‍♂️ not possible imo.
  23. Nice news to wake up to. congrats to our lord and savior 17. Sorry if that offends anyone. “Most Valuable”- yes- Josh is certainly that. great season Lamar- but you have a better supporting cast but you managed to lose more games than last season after adding Derrick Henry, another MVP candidate. The choice was clear in the eyes of this biased fan
