Week 1, Nevermores v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
NewEra replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
57- 6 Bills. If the Bills lose you’ll be happy? Are you betting 1k on the ravens? -
Good lord- 2025: the year of the groin. What was it last season? Hammy? Let’s hope they don’t linger
-
I just saw that pop up- limited due to groin. Siiiiiiiiigh 🤦🏻♂️

Isaiah Likely to be out for the Bills Ravens game.
NewEra replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
It would be a great thing for us if he’s out, but considering the player, I think he plays -
And now they’re on paramount+ starting 2026. 😂

please use this thread to discuss things not pertaining to this weeks game It’s Lamar’s job to know where that safety is. Either he didn’t see him or he threw a very bad pass. There’s no way he threw that pass with hopes it ended up where it did. If Bateman ran the “correct route”, as you say, Rapp would’ve destroyed him. He was setting him up for a KO. I think he either didn’t see Rapp or he underestimated Rapps ability to get there. Bateman running the route to the ball would’ve been disaster. Rapp is known for taking people out. His MO is laying the wood. That includes his teammates.

@FranchiseSavior I would like to propose moving your conversations here so we don’t have to wade through pages of your thoughts in our weekly game thread we use to see updates and discuss this weeks game. The discussions you’re having (and I’m guilty too) have nothing to do with this weeks game.
-
Watch the play…..he threw the ball right to Rapp…..what does that have to do with Batemans route? Regardless of if Bateman ran the wrong route….it was a terrible decision to throw it and an even worse pass. It was an int or a dead WR. Neither are acceptable
-
Even if Bateman ran the correct route, it would’ve been a 50/50 ball at best, but the likely outcome would’ve been Bateman being decapitated by Rapp. That’s what Rapp does- even to his teammates. It was a bad snap and Lamar compounded that error with a much worse error. There are instances in which Lamar has to choose the right decision. It’s not a matter of “try and make a play every time the play breaks down” or “never try and make a play when it break down”. Pick and choose your battles and those choices. we’ve been hearing the same thing about Josh for his entire career. This past season, he was still out there making ridiculous off script plays. He just made better decisions and was more accurate on those plays than he had been in the past. QBs will be judged on turnovers and those turnovers will be magnified when they lead to a loss. Magnified x100 when it’s in the playoffs. Thats the nfl. Again….Lamar is special and will contribute to be just that. Enjoy it. Who cares if people disagree with how you feel about past outcomes? You do. You can say you don’t care all you want….the fact that you’re spending hours on a bills message board arguing with bills fans says differently. We don’t see this the same and you won’t be changing anyone’s minds. You’re just wasting your time. Just like I’ve been with this 🗑️ good luck on Sunday and this season. Hopefully we both stay healthy and can meet in the afccg.

Your posts in this thread lead me to believe that you’re upset about more than just the 2 passes. And those passes aren’t “the same exact thing”- as has been reiterated several time. In YOUR eyes, they are the same, which is why this is hilarious to you. Those with eyes, realize that they aren’t. Those with brains realize that it’s not just about those 2 passes. It’s about Lamar’s turnovers. As Bills fans, we realize how turnovers create such a negative stigma around players…..we’ve seen Josh roasted for his turnovers for just first 6 seasons. That’s all anyone ever talked about
-
I don’t remember Josh being fantastic. I suppose I’ll have to rewatch it. I remember him playing under control and mistake free football. Solid half of football.
-
I agree- I just don’t think his turnovers were at critical times.
-
I agree- Lamar played a better game than Josh. But the turnovers were the difference. If Josh had even just one turnover, you guys probably win that game. He didn’t. Lamar played vs a terrible bills defense. The bills D was a sieve last season. Bottom 3 on 3rd down in the NFL and seemed to only get worse in the playoffs. Josh played against a solid Ravens D. Solid, not great. Definitely much better than the defense Lamar was facing 💯 and the fact remains that Josh has been a MUCH better playoff QB…..and this is why the narrative is different. Those that have created the narrative have stated why they feel the way they do and there is plenty of evidence that backs it up. Lamar will be an all timer. I do believe that he will win one. Stop worrying about narratives. Enjoy your guy. Coming onto Bills message boards thinking that you’re going to convince that Josh’s narrative should be equal to Lamar’s is just a waste of your short time here on earth. But carry on, it’s your life.
-
The narrative is different because JOSH HAS BEEN MUCH BETTER IN THE PLAYOFFS. Period
-
This was pretty much a given. Just a matter of time

Meanwhile, the good guy has 23 TDs to 4 ints. Best TD-INT ration in nfl history. Passer rating of 101+

You’re on a Bills message board. There isn’t a fan base that understands this more than us. Lamar is an absolute superstar….but the narrative will remain until he proves them wrong. Josh’s narrative is different because everyone has seen him be the best player on earth on the biggest stage. Just do it Lamar. I think he’s capable and I believe he will get you guys another Lombardi before he’s done. He just has to do it and you (as fans) shouldn’t dwell on these narratives. Get over it- win a Super Bowl. Yes- I know it’s hard. No one cares
-
You just happen to apply the degree of difficulty to the catches but not the actual passes. Lamar had a routine play, but he double clutched and it threw off the timings. Andrews should have caught it- definitely. But Lamar didn’t execute perfectly. Josh made an otherworldly throw that, imo, no other QB could make. He hit his TE in both hands. Given the circumstances. Josh did a much better job on their respective plays than Lamar did. I thought the degree of difficulty on Josh’s pass was close to one in a million. And my boy dropped it. 😞 😢 😭

I think it could be but it’s doubtful.

Gabe Davis signing with the Bills (going to practice squad)
NewEra replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Samuel is a WR. His only problem is injury. He may not be worth his contract, but he contributed in some of the biggest games last year. Not splashy numbers as some like to point out, but he made some clutch plays. Moore, imo, is the guy that has to make some plays in the first month or he may end up hitting the bricks. He could be one or two drops from not having a job. -
ESPN predicts Bills win Super Bowl…and I agree

Every team needs a lot. Not just us “Non-stop”- epic. I lol’d -
What is your X-Factor(variable) for the Bills this year?
NewEra replied to BillsPride12's topic in The Stadium Wall
Per usual- certain players being healthy for the playoffs. One of those players this season, is Joey Bosa. If he’s firing on all cylinders for playoff games, I think we’ll be champs. He turned 30 in July and, imo, is the X-Factor that we’ve been missing since that fateful thanksgiving day in 2022 -
Gabe Davis signing with the Bills (going to practice squad)
NewEra replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh is clearly worse when Gabe is our 2nd best WR. As WR 5-6, I don’t think Josh will be worse. Yes- he will likely throw more interceptions that he did last year. That’s likely due to the extremely low number he threw last season. I don’t think Gabe Davis will be THE reason. -

39-765-5 over a 17 game season. Pretty good for a PS guy. i haven’t read through the thread yet- but those crying and whining about this signing (and I’m sure there will be many) need reevaluate their views on the team I’m not a big Gabe Davis fan, but as a ps player (or WR6 even) he’s a nice addition. He can block and make plays downfield. -
DOOOOOOOOOOMED!!
