I think McDermott should open the first team meeting with an apology and an encouragement to move on from it. I also believe that the failure led to several offseason signings, especially the Von Miller deal. In the long run, these signings turned on the aggression switch inside Beane's head, which resulted in our team being substantially better than they would be had they won. There are no guarantees that they would have beat Cinci and the Rams. Had they lost the Super Bowl, that may have been even more disappointing than the 13 seconds. Therefore, in the long run I believe the 13 second debacle might turn out to be a good thing.

They spend months putting the board together. This isn't a random pick. They obviously have an idea what to do with him. They don't intentionally throw away picks. I trust them. That said, I've been doing mock drafts for months and I never heard of the guy. Probably because I wasn't looking for linebackers beyond Muma.

I do think it's time for the Bills to get a stud RB so that Josh doesn't have to take all the 3rd and 4th down runs. Why risk injury?

Tariq Woolen. As for receivers, anybody they pick will catch passes thrown by Josh Allen.

He was very good in preseason.....anybody remember the catch he made vs. Green Bay, I think, on 4th down.....50 yards downfield....set up the winning score.

I just read the first couple pages of comments. This is not a random signing that we can criticize. I'd never heard of McKissic till this week, and I've heard of Duke. Which means nothing. But after watching clips, I can see why he's got value to the team. How anybody can criticize a Beane move at this point is beyond my comprehension.

Beane has shown that if he wants to keep a guy he will.

If somebody makes a big offer, the bills can match or trade. They lost Chris Hogan to the patriots under similar circumstances.

Cut Star, don't resign Mario or Hughes, and you've got Jones, Rousseau, Basham and Epenesa....I'd keep Obada too. He'd put us in a new level on defense.....instead of leading the league in pressure, we'd lead the league in sacks too. You can't double team everybody. I'd try and keep Harry and Zimmer, and draft somebody like Jones or Perriman or the kid from Alabama to plug up the middle. Our defense was extremely good without a sack master. Having Jones lead the way, the others would also get more sacks. Jones would also get a couple or more cracks at the Patriots, who dumped him a few years ago. I'm pretty sure he'd like that.

What say we cut Addison, Hughes and Star and sign Chandler Jones? We sign Harry, still have Ed, Groot, Basham and Ep. We also can sign that other DT who got hurt last year....what's his name....uh....Zimmer....draft some talent and move on. And get Gronk up in here.

The Bears now have a pair of second round picks, which they can use to pick up two starters, or trade up to 18 or 19 and pick up a stud. I just did a mock for them and they got Tariq Woolen and the DT from UConn in the 2nd. That and a lot of cap space makes it a pretty good trade. Who knows how Mack will do?

This is another indicator that Buffalo is a player destination. Kumerow could've gone to Green Bay. He's a hard worker, a special teams strength, and is a good blocker. And he knows his job.

If we've thought about it, Beane has thought about it. If he decides to make a deal, he will try and do it. But if other teams (i.e., N.O.) are offering a pick in the same round, they'll probably get him. Isabella may have some say in this. He is very fast, though. We like speed over here.
