Yeah, I get he was injured a bunch the past two years with hamstring issues, but he's still damn good when he sees the field. I would absolutely roll the dice on a team friendly one year deal. James Lofton was "washed up" at age 33 when he caught on with the Bills.

I think you're right, Shaw. And re-watching the Chiefs game, getting pressure from our front four wasn't the issue. We were getting tons of pressure on Mahomes, especially early on, we just couldn't close the deal and bring him to the turf. I don't think our defensive line is the dire situation many on here make it out to be. I'm much more worried about CB, WR and OL depth at this point.

Honestly, so far, not so good. Hopefully, we can make something happen for a pass rusher via trade and can use our round 1 and 2 picks on plug and play CBs/WRs.

In fairness to Allen's detractors (of which I was never one of), he was awful outside of that Minnesota game before the mid-season injury. He was a much different player when he returned to action.

I love me some Kyle Philips. He's the only thing that made UCLA watchable the past few years. Measurables are below average, but the kid is just a football player who consistently makes play after play. He'd be a great late round slot receiver selection.

It's a great trade...for those who'd like to see Beane fired.

Kid is a great athlete for a punter. He's fast like Moorman and could be a weapon via fakes. He kicks it an absolute mile. And he can kick field goals in a pinch should something ever happen to Bass. I'd be willing to use a 4th on him if that's the way our board falls.

Barkley is QB3 quality, imo. Bills can and will do better than that.

I don't like the guy, but don't really see too much of a problem with this. He's just trying to get his side of the story out there and hopefully take some of the fanbase's heat off him. I know business is business, but who knows how the Arizona front office operates or if they've jerked him around, broken promises, etc. Looks like many just view it as a selfish gesture, so it looks like it may have backfired?

What the initial reaction is of rival fans isn't really the question you should be asking yourself. Look no further than our reactions when the Chiefs signed Le'Veon Bell or Josh Gordon. The signing of shiny, previously productive, big name toys always get a big reaction from your average fan. I'm not completely against the idea of swinging a deal for McCaffrey, but let's acknowledge that it is a high risk move and there is a fairly decent chance he ends up no more productive than Singletary/Moss given his injury history.
