  1. Nah, I’m a Red Zone junkie and very often I am sitting around on a Sunday afternoon or early evening when the Bills aren’t on and enjoying being able to flip around to the different games.
  2. I realize Pickens has been “troublesome” to some extent, but what in the actual feck is PIttsburgh doing? Is this a sign of a full on tank for the QB class of 2026?
  3. So I guess there's some "good" news to this -- it does in fact appear as though it was a complete accident and Elway did nothing wrong. The dude just fell off the back of the cart and landed on his head. Still tragic, but no evidence of negligence or foul play.
  4. My immediate reaction was no, but after giving it some thought there's nothing wrong with creating even more competition in the WR room, even if just through training camp. If Gabe is willing to sign a vet minimum deal and try to prove himself, and then wins a roster spot, it makes the team better.
  5. Just finished watching. Love the emotional reaction from these guys. Can’t wait to see them in action. I think the writing is on the wall for DaQuan Jones.
  6. I guess the Bills didn’t think it was as much of a “bad look” as some of those on this board believe…
  7. It was a weird game…the rookie safety got burned deep in the first half, the awful offensive play…but once the game was over I had no fears about facing that team again.
  8. Agreed. For the first time in a while all of the most difficult matchups are home games, and the Bills do have a legitimate HF advantage. The Texans are on the road, but I don’t think most of us really view them as a “top” team despite their division dominance and the game last year.
  9. Lots of “get off my lawn” and “yelling at clouds” guys on this forum, man…
  10. Mine is a game from 1979…Jets at Bills, week 4. I was ten years old, went with my dad. Beautiful sunny day. Chuck Knox’s 2nd season, it felt like the Bills were building something but weren’t quite there yet. Jets went up big early in the 2nd quarter before it became the Fergie/Jerry Butler show. Butler’s stat line: 10/255/4. The most fun I ever had as a kid at a Bills game, and a great memory with my now departed dad. I’ll never forget that day.
  11. Before the sex allegations he was a no doubt HOFer (probably)…wonder what will happen now.
  12. Yes. 4th down Bledsoe to Moulds TD. I was in the stadium and the only other time I’ve gone from exhilaration to silence in such short order was the Home Run Throwup game when we were in the stadium in Tennessee.
  13. No worries in the new stadium, the wind will be confused.
  14. Just read in the Buffalo News this morning that Jackson was the only prospect in the draft to earn the “Bills Blue” checkmark by Beane’s scouting team. What does that mean, exactly? Apparently it means a prospect who matches every on and off the field trait the Bills value. Previous recipients include Josh Allen, Khalil Shakir, and Terrell Bernard. Take it FWIW. Edit: I re-read the article, and I think they meant the only prospect of this Bills class, not the entire draft pool. Still, it certainly reflects that the Bills really like him.
  15. Agree and my comments are just an overall assessment of the angst of Bills fans who want to stress about everything! All good.
  16. C’mon, man, don’t be obtuse. When people chirp about Jalen Hurts having a SB ring and Josh Allen hasn’t been to one, stats like this provide some perspective. Nobody thinks Allen and Hurts play defense.
  17. Umm, sure you do. It’s a reflection of the support provided to Hurts and Allen against KC in the playoffs. It’s also further evidence that the Bills rightfully focused on defense in this year’s draft.
  18. I think there is a tendency to “fear” the Ravens more because of how they’ve destroyed us a couple of times in the regular season, and their running game is one to be respected, but in general these threads are amusing to me because for each of these other teams the prospect of facing the Bills is a daunting challenge. Cincinnati beat us in our building two and a half years ago in a game that wasn’t “normal” and folks can’t get over that even though they didn’t even make the freaking playoffs. KC keeps squeaking by us in January even though we’re every bit the team they are. Houston is a paper tiger and I’m looking forward to the Bills exacting some payback this season. The bottom line is that while Bills fans obsess over matchups, nobody wants to play the Bills. Not even the Chiefs.
  19. The only reason I don't want that to happen is because of my Miami hookup!
  20. It's 10-3, brother...but if everyone agreed with everything around here it'd be a pretty boring place. Cheers.
  21. Unused extra tissue I hope?
  22. I don’t think there is agreement on that at all. Beane has been pretty widely praised for taking WGR to task, and it was refreshing to hear it because those WGR guys are blowhards. They think they have a bully pulpit and nobody will ever call them on it. Beane has never said he didn’t want a speed WR; he just has to build an entire football team and has done a damn good job of it. How many entire rosters in this league do you want to trade the Bills’ for? It’s exhausting. Some people want to continue to talk about the “WR room” and compare it to the rest of the league. Well, what about every other position group on offense? QB — top 1-2 OL — top 5 RB — top 10 (maybe higher) TE — top half That’s a lot of really good stuff, and YOU CAN’T HAVE EVERYTHING in the salary cap era. This team scored nearly 30 points per game and put up 29 in the playoffs against the Chiefs. Don’t tell me “the offense had the ball and didn’t get it done” because while technically true, that’s not why Buffalo lost that game (or the game the year before). Beane was right to tell them to “quit your b-i-t-c-h-i-n-g” given these facts, and the signing of Elijah Moore isn’t an “admission” of anything by Beane.
