So in my crystal ball, Settle plays Monday night and Ed doesn't. Which I think is fine; DaQuan Jones is a monster and they'll get the job done.

So, first of all, my post was a bit of a joke (fairly vs. unfairly "dissed"). I'll grant you that Tanny has been a serviceable guy, maybe top 15 as a starter, but there is no reason he should beat you if you have a solid defense and you contain Henry.

I dunno, I think he is fairly dissed. That performance in the playoffs against Cinci was a complete disaster. Now, he’s not the worst starting QB in the league but he’s not top 20 either.

I don't typically get that excited to watch games not involving the Bills but I am pumped for this one. Hope they beat the crap out of each other.

I think the only thing they (the coaches) want is for Josh to be "smart" with his body. I know there is a lot of talk about cumulative hits and whatnot, but I do believe Josh will continue to get better at protecting himself while still doing what he believes he needs to do to win football games.

100% accurate IMO. On Kyle Brandt's podcast this week Josh made the definitive statement in this regard: "I play the game one way. My way."

We are very fortunate that both get that extra rest with the 11 days between games. If they can't practice by Saturday we have an issue.

There are situations in which a turnover is NOT worse than a punt...say, if a QB throws a deep INT from midfield on 3rd and long and the opponent thus starts inside their 10 rather than the offense having to punt. But those are rare. Typically a turnover is worse than a punt. Last Thursday the Bills' offense was rolling and it can be argued that if the turnovers did not occur they were in position to score. Bottom line: this offense is clicking.

...actually 4 out of the last 6 counting playoffs... As Josh said, turning the ball over is often worse than a punt, but there is no question this offense has been performing at an astonishing clip.

Riddick’s latest thing is pumping up Trey Lance. I listened to a recent interview in which he talked about what Lance is capable of doing as being unique in the NFL…the only problem is that it described what Allen does to a T. Seriously. I was listening and thinking, “dude — there’s already a guy doing that in the NFL.” Not impressed with Riddick. Don’t mind Levy at all; I think he has a good voice and he offers appropriate excitement during his broadcasts.

…for Josh Allen. Yes, even he has admitted his body is “beat up” at the end of the season but I do have confidence he will continue to evolve his game as necessary. What makes him so special, though, is the overall combination of his talents. Just last Thursday night his running created two highlight plays — the 3rd down stiff arm and the TD through Bobby Wagner. Neither were designed runs — just Josh making plays as only he can. Nutrition and knowledge about maintaining one’s body are so much more advanced now. I’m just not willing to worry about Josh’s career being shortened at this point.

I would. Harbaugh is a top 5 HC in this league and the roster is solid. They are not in the same class as KC and Buffalo but they’re a playoff team unless injuries derail them again.
