Agreed…and yet there is still a very vocal minority who want to b-i-t-c-h and moan about everything and remind us that the Bills lost to Jacksonville last year. Mind-boggling.
Sorry for the outburst but can we pin a goddamn link to the board about the standard NFL scheduling rules? I have seen, no lie, at least a half dozen posts today bemoaning that "we always have to play KC on the road" when the answers are very logical and very clear.
IT'S A FORMULA. THE BILLS DIDN'T GET SCREWED. IT'S DUMB LUCK.
That is all.
Given the Bills' recent history, a Bills' blowout victory is hardly "least likely." Hell, they did it against KC on the road just last year...and our team is better now.
9 punts through 5 games extrapolates to 30.6 punts over a 17-game season. Now, we can't really expect this run to continue (can we?) but it's amazing.
Where is @ScottLaw to berate my preseason suggestion the Bills might punt fewer than 50 times this year?
@GunnerBill’s post on page two of that thread is still the most awesome thing I’ve ever seen on this board. One, because Gunner is such a thoughtful, analytical, opposite-of-knee-jerk poster, and two, because he has totally owned it. 🤣
