I refuse to watch any NFL shows this week precisely because I won’t be able to stand the overreactions to Sunday and predictions for next week’s game. I head down to Miami on Friday and look forward to Josh Allen’s biannual Fish Fry.

What does Buffalo do better than any defense in the league? Stop the big play. What has the Ravens’ defense done the past two seasons? Get absolutely torched by competent offenses. It’s week two of overreactions, and while nobody can take away the gaudy stats Tuna and the Fish just put up, I’m not ready to say “they’ve arrived” and both of those defenses look like garbage.

This is really bad news for the Bolts. If they were smart they’d shut him down for the next two weeks at a minimum; the schedule is favorable and they have enough talent to beat the Jags and Texans. Daniels is a pro. If they go with a half-assed approach where he’s trying to practice and then “seeing if he can give it a go” it’s going to last much longer. And yes, this is the same injury that began the Flutie era in Buffalo in ‘98.

Well, I failed on this one miserably last week (Oliver) but at least the DL did show up. I'm going to say James Cook. I think the rookie shakes off the fumble and makes some splash plays for this offense.

Jesus Christ...all of the whining in this thread. It doesn't affect Bills, Oilers, Eagles, or Vikings fans negatively. They will be able to watch their own game with perhaps a random split screen at times. We'll miss none of our game's action. For the rest of the general NFL watching public it's a good thing as they don't have to flip channels unless they want to focus on one specific game.

Weather certainly does affect football games, umm, genius.
