  1. Hate to state the obvious, but there is a reason these guys are drafted late. There are obvious flaws or limitations, and you’re just hoping you find the diamond in the rough or a guy you can develop into being a competent backup/practice player.
  2. …and then again, they may not.
  3. RIP to the king of the swizzle stick.
  4. You know, it’s not really worth it. Most of the morons who called Josh trash have either come clean and acknowledged their error, or they are long gone from this forum. That’s the thing about message boards — you’re never truly getting a cross sample of what fans are thinking. And anyway…as they say, the best revenge is living well, and those of us who have been behind Josh from the beginning are living large right now. Now, on to that game last night…wow, could that have possibly gone any better? Mac Jones benched, future in doubt — ✅ Bailey Zappe mediocre/ineffective — ✅ Pats*** outclassed and stomped at home by a crappy team on Monday night — ✅ Pats*** at the bottom of the AFCE standings after W7 — ✅
  5. Who are you, and what did you do with @FilthyBeast?
  6. It's almost enough to make me feel sorry for the Jets and their fans. Then I remember that ass-hat fireman in the stands.
  7. This is some good old fashioned karma coming back to bite the Colts. The way Irsay handled the Peyton Manning/Tank for Luck situation...then Luck being so broken he gave up football...and now the Colts being unable to find competent QB play...
  8. On a medical test "negative" is typically good news...but I think I understand what you're saying.
  9. Ok. I guess that's your opinion and it isn't unreasonable, but I don't think the majority of fans would say the KC offense is "better" than Buffalo's at this point.
  10. Well done, gents...two consecutive "Remember the Jags" posts!!
  11. In the “caring about outcomes” category I’m rooting for the Ravens and Titans to win their respective divisions. Both of those teams can at least pose some sort of threat to KC. Cinci is showing signs of life but their remaining schedule is brutal. The rest of the AFC is mediocre at best — and that includes our AFCE rivals. The Bills just need to continue to take care of business. The next KC-BUF game needs to be in OP.
  12. Bummer for the kid, he looks really good. That said, the Jets’ offense is trash. Their record is what it is and good for them, but can anyone see them standing toe-to-toe with the Bills or Chiefs? I even think the Pats*** will beat them rather easily.
  13. Is it time for my annual diatribe on this topic? Good teams beat bad teams at the same historical rate, regardless of whether the game is before or after a “big” game. And besides, who would think a nationally televised game on Thanksgiving isn’t a “big” game to the Bills? After watching some more (bad) football yesterday one thing is clear to me — it’s a two-horse race in the AFC and the Bills just need to keep their lead on the Chiefs.
  14. It’s crazy to think how bad Green Bay might be. As Denny Green once said, “they are who we thought they were.” There is no sugar-coating how disgusting that team has looked in their meltdown against the Giants, and then losses to the Jets and WFT. Their defense is “ok” but it’s no match for Josh & Co. Their offense is putrid. It’s all well and good for Rodgers to say something to try and get the troops motivated for next Sunday night, but I have more of a feeling that his team will truly be “exposed” even further as a shell of its former self. League-wide, just look at what is going on with three teams who went “all in” on aging QBs. Tampa, Green Bay, and Denver all look pretty damn terrible. Bills by a billion.
  15. This story is so touching, heartbreaking, and uplifting all at the same time. Just good vibes all around. Best wishes to that family, and (once again) kudos to Brandon Beane, his scouting staff, and the Pegulas for finding this farm boy from Firebaugh and bringing him home.
  16. Preach! So sick of this being brought up by every miserable fan who wants to rain on the parade. Sad sack refrain #1: Remember The Jags! Sad sack refrain #2: 13 Seconds!
  17. I’m not going to sort through a Tom Brady thread, but has it been mentioned that there are rumors out there of an out-of-wedlock child that is the basis for the divorce? I’ve heard this from several typically reliable sources.
  18. The Athletic ranked all of the jerseys as well and Buffalo’s was top 5 I think. What a west coast road trip! Dahlin now five in a row and counting…
  19. Did you know he can jump out of a pool?
  20. I can’t believe I made it through the whole 21 minutes but I did…pretty funny.
  21. Yes, the Eagles are good. I think in a matchup of two healthy teams I still give the edge to SF.
  22. I’m basing it on their defensive talent (when healthy) and the fact they have some playmakers on offense (Kittle, Deebo, now CMC) and run Shanahan’s scheme very well. If Jimmy G isn’t asked to be a hero he’s a very competent game manager who can make some plays. You don’t have to agree with me. It’s ok. We’ll find out by the end of the season.
