  1. I’ll say one thing, if we do win a Super Bowl this year our MVP should be Terry Pegula. Especially if we end up signing that #2 WR… The most underrated Buffalo Bill by far. That entire rebuild this year is on him.
  2. KD did absolutely nothing to help the OL….in the modern game you need a quick passing game to deter pass rushers, we threw the quick passing game away practically. We attack the edges of the field and not the middle. We didn’t use Knox, Shakir, Hodgson or the running backs enough. We called runs into run Ds and threw passes into pass defenses. Always calling slow, long developing plays with little chance of success when you call them over and over. Few misdirection plays. There was a reason Daboll called the plays he did, they were all connected into a bigger plan. I didn’t see a method to KD’s madness. The O fell apart. Josh fell apart. Daboll left KD the best player in the world and now he isn’t the running (unless he returns to form.) I think KD could be the first coordinator fired this year, we’ll see…. We should be fine right out of the gate. There should be zero patience for a lack of success. Kromer should be ready to take over..,. I sure hope KD turns it around and makes it but there is no doubt that KD is one of the huge question marks for the Bills this season. We should see a quick and successful passing game right out of the gate. Josh did this before there are zero excuses. We should also have a stout run game and it too should be successful. We should have a very diverse complete offense this year. The only thing we lack is deep speed but we’re not slow by any means either…. IMHO, while we sure could an upgrade at #2 WR, Beane still has done an amazing job (Pegula really) rebuilding this team on both sides of the ball. This opening day 53 man roster should be much stronger than last season’s and we should be able to whoop the jets, imho…
  3. I’ll just say, if the offense stands as is, we will need a lot of offense out of Kincaid, imho….
  4. Yes, we have absolutely no idea whether we have a legit #2 WR ot not; plain & simple. However, I think we’re fine in the slot with Kincaid and Shakir…..and the rest. iIt is far harder getting open coming off the LOS like a #2 or #4 WR has to…. I think we should get another WR to enhance our SB chances significantly…. We also lack speed so a burner would be good to add to the corps….
  5. Poona Ford is the 1B 1-tech for the Buffalo Bills and everyone should be ecstatic about this…. https://billswire.usatoday.com/lists/things-know-buffalo-bills-poona-ford-seahawks/
  6. They have Poona Ford as the #3 3-tech, but I have heard he is a 1-tech. We need a good 1-tech and I assumed it was Poona…. I think he should be the #2 1-tech. little help? I also think we play a ton of four wide like we use to all the time…. But now it’ll be: Diggs, Davis, Shakir and Kincaid (Yes, he’s a WR).
  7. Beane’s weakest area has been the DL. He was right to invest in a strong DL but it didn’t work out at all….
  8. This is revisionist history. Everybody on this site loved the Ford pick at the time.
  9. Nice list and a nice read, thanks. Want to do an All- Miami list? LOL, he’s really kicked their asses quite a bit and I sure hope he continues to do so…. I think that’s up to Beane though…. And I hope KA looks way better this year….
  10. You are absolutely correct about Elam and White determining our fate but you forgot Hyde & Poyer. They are just as important and way more iffy at this point. The good news is if by some miracle everyone stays back there stays healthy we could be really good if KD takes a huge step in 2023-24….
  11. I dunno, this guy seems too good to be true… I hope he comes here and wins a Bills’ contract, I really do. He could be another Fred Jackson for us, sounds like, but a WR…. But Fred did everything right, everything. Just like it seems this guy does…. I hope is a Fred Jackson and not a Tim Settle (who also came here highly acclaimed from Washington but as of yet, showed nothing to speak of. Which will it be?
  12. I think the Bills know how to draft corners and that we will be good at corner this year. Of course, we have to hope Tre White makes it most of the way back. Maybe he’ll be even better at some things though? I love Elam and hope the team uses him correctly this year and that he kicks ass. Benford is an excellent prospect. Dane is a cool 4th or fifth option for sure. We drafted a corner… We’re good at corner, imho.
  13. I think we’re going to use him more as an afterthought this year. Let defenses forget about him like when he a #4 WR….Then hit him for a TD…. The ball is going to go to Diggs, then Kincaid, then everyone else….
  14. If that’s true and if he is a dominant RG in the pros. We can move Bates back to left and we’d be in business on the OL… But fixing our OL depends largely on KD who called way too many time consuming plays. We’ve got to bring back the short passing game, the easier passing game, to the Bills… We need more easier bread and butter plays… We need to fix all three…. The playbook, the receivers and the line….
  15. But, of course, realistically, that’s the last thing we need. We need bargain greatness, not another super high-priced player. We are supposed to getting better through the draft, but we’re just not making it… and we’re broke spending on mediocre free agents. It’s just a mess right now…. I’m sorry….
  16. It’s true, McBeane threw a mountainful of resources towards our DL since inception. Don’t forget DaQuon, Ed and Settle. All big money and/or resources. And mediocrity is all we have to show for it. I think if Leslie was given a young Bruce Smith we would have never heard of him. The linemen is Frazier’s D do what they are told. They do not read and react. This often leads to disasters…. I wish we had Wade Philips back as DC… but even he would need a year to get his boys here. Maybe more as our cap situation is very dire…. Remember that DL he built here? He brought in my second favorite Bill of all-time in Ted Washington. He drafted Marcellus Wiley (and even better, MLB Sam Cowart. And even better than that, Antoine Winfield.) He had an old but still relavent Bruse Smith. He had Hanson too I Billieve. Plus an up and coming Pat Washington…. Man, now that was a defense! Definitely the best D we have had in the modern era. I still can’t accept how stupid Tom Donahoe was…. Although it wasn’t his fault Sam Cowart was the victim of a severe cheap shot. Tom was incredibly stupid signing Lawson while letting both Winfield and Williams exit in FA…. I remember Marv Levy had major coordinator problems and couldn’t solve them either…. ah…. I’m thru ranting for awhile…. Our situation is very depressing though….
  17. He doesn’t really like his weapons either…. It’s cray-cray to keep KD….just Crazy….
  18. I might have agreed with you if the bengals were healthy, but they are not. The question arises; Can our coaches take major advantage of the Bengals missing a whoppping three OL? I don’t know what our defense is doing half the time. The QB has the ball all day with zero pressure. If that is our tactic again I think the Bengals shred us on those plays. I think KD has lost Josh Allen as well…. I’m sorry…. I’m sorry…. But that is what I see… Josh went from the best player in the NFL…. To someone easily not the best player in the NFL….. Last spring I didn’t think an OC could have that kind of effect on a vet QB but there’s no denying it. The Giants are now running our offense and we are….. not. Just a total freakin’ disaster. It doesn’t explain why the defense fell too, but that’s what happened.
  19. I for one really like the old inuiforms and wanted to see them this year.
  20. Allen played mistake free football towards the end of last season for a prolonged period of time. He did it once he can do it again.
  21. However….. Devin and James are certainly a good enough pair of running backs…
  22. And, I have no idea of where we could get him, maybe late in the draft? but it would be a dream to have a back like Josh Jacobs to pair with Cook. I’m a huge Singletary fan. He does most things well, he could catch a lot better though…. A tough blocker, a great runner, he gets what’s there and then some. He gets first downs when it doesn’t look like he is going to make it…. But to have a true full-size powerback that can also block very well and to pair him up with a guy like Cook…. And then have an OC that runs until the safeties creep up…or at least the D does more to stop the run…. Then hit them with Allen throwing…. Our current receivers might be good enough then….
