I’m very disappointed in the offense vs. the chefs. Off a bye, two starters missing from the chef D and the chefs offense struggling and all we can get is two TDs? C’mon…. He had those plays to cook and that was it after two weeks to prepare. The screens to Johnson and Diggs absolutely sucked and that was it from the O.

The slow developing DL is all on Frazier and his desire not attack with his DL until the playoffs (for the most part.) This slows down their development by a country mile and has them playing the wrong style…. Example: Ed did not attack during the regular season under Frazier and Ed skill-set is that of an attacking three-tech…… He played everyone out of position and McD is the answer to why Groot, Ed, DaQuon and AJ look so much better this year.

Cook’s been good but the OL has been better creating huge holes for the young back to scamper through…

You’re missing half of the story. Do you think it is easy to run block vs. the jets? The run-blocking was even better than than the pass blocking and was key to the victory. I think the line has been doing great most of the year. And the TEs and backs block very well making Spencer Brown appear to be a sound pass blocker.

IDK? I feel this time it is different. We fixed so many things from last season plus we got most of our injured players back from last year….

Some PFF factoids and statistics for you!

It wasn’t Edmunds fault, he was coached to stay back there if you watched. -
The Bills will win if/The Jets will win if....

If Terrel Bernard attacks aggressively the Bills win. If Terrel Bernard is asked to play like Edmunds, that is wait, wait, wait for the RB, the Bills lose…. -
Bills lose Anderson, Austin and Broeker to claims.

I liked him…. I was wondering why it was we didn’t sign him… Maybe because they planned how their roster was going to work. And not drafted players they knew weren’t going to make the team. But in reality that’s not fair, because we could have sustained injured over the summer and then all three of those players would have made it. -
Are the Dolphins obviously better than the Bills?

If the Bills weren’t all beat up for both games the Bills walk away no contest. -
Being sane, naturally I’m concerned…. On offense it’s our tackles and our seemingly inability to install a short passing game. That’s a horrible mix. On defense it’s a lot of things. No matter how many DL we pay, they, seemingly, underachieve no matter who we get. Then we have to worry about the huge hole at MLB and finally we have to worry why the secondary doesn’t look very good at all this preseason. I was expecting our D to challenge every sort of pass and we really haven’t seen that at all…. Our best bet is that McD really decided to hold back this preseason more than in the past and that this really rubbed off on the team and everyone is moving half speed waiting for week one. The jets have an excellent roster. Hopefully, so do we. Hopefully this roster still Billieve in itself and fight tooth and nail on every single play for a full 60 minutes. We can win, but we have to play like we haven’t seen since early in the 2022 season. Go Bills!

1. - chefs. 2. - Eggles 3. - Bungles 4. - Bills 5. - Nuners (a distant fifth…. Why Bills ain’t #1: Spencer Brown and Co. are no where near the top ten as an OL., Hyde & Poyer are very iffy and not the greatest coaching, and we have an unknown MLB…. I hope the Bills show me they’re better this year. Excited about Dorian Williams’ first game at Will.

I expect him to average 3.5 targets/game on the season and to be a very solid weapon for us. Unfortunately for him, he is a very solid blocker and knows how to block downfield when our guys catch the ball, but you have to reward him and make him one of the weapons to diversify your offense. He was a great pickup. My two favorite adds at this time are Kincaid and Sherfield on offense and Poona and Floyd on defense, though Rapp will get more press probably. I wish we had a better RT and backup RT…. At least that’s the way it looks now. LG doesn’t thrill me either…. Sigh…. It’s the OL stupid! Do something great with the OL…. I know it looks like Beane has done a lot with the OL, I just think he might have failed. No one is writing about McGovern but scarily, everyone is writing about Ed Oliver’s great camp….

Jordan Phillips, I’m glad we got him back.

I think he’s starting on the pup list, hopefully he can get into real good shape getting ready…. -
One huge change is that we’re going to have a third & long defense this year, imho….. Floyd - Groot - Ed - Von ……Rapp - Milano - TJ Tre - Hyde - Poyer - Elam And Really bring all sorts of pressure if needed…. Go Bills!

Since 1987, Offense Wins Super Bowls about 2/3's of the time.

This is absolute BS…… watch the games….. -
Our defense is going to go thru a big change this year perhaps. It could very well be that not only did we let Edmunds go, we are drastically changing what that LB does. I think we are going to play two pursuit LBs now. Two attacking LBs…. I think that if this is true, it is one of the biggest stories of the off season.

I’m really surprised BR took a good look at our roster and really thought about this…. They’re right, the Bills are loaded and ready to feast upon fish, jets and pats….

Good Breakdown on Bills, KC, and Cinci moving forward

Just win a freakin’ Super Bowl!!! Come on! Go Bills! -
Just rewatched Bills @ Jets and Miami @ Bills…. Conclusion…. We need a real #2 WR…. Yeah, we got Kincaid and that’s great but we also needed to replace Smoke/Emmanuel…. Maybe Davis finds his hands again, maybe not…. Either way, we need more speed and big play ability….

4 cut candidates on Bills’ roster ahead of NFL training camp
billybrew1 replied to PrimeTime101's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don’t know but there has to be a surprise cut this year… My guess is Bates is traded…. But I really don’t feel real strong about that either…. Murray is probably a PS guy but I hope we find a spot for him somehow….
