  1. same mantra Mr. Bean is using today!
  2. Because he is too slow. Both Moss and Singletary will be gone at the END of the season. The Bills cannot pay everyone and RB will not be a priority especially if Cook starts taking playing time from Singletary. The Bills will go back to the draft and get another mid-tier RB and a veteran FA to backup Cook.
  3. Love to get that Gescki guy!
  4. I think a trip to Canton to visit the HoF would be worth it to see the legendary Bills there.
  5. Agreed. This D was soft for most of the year. Even against the Patriots in the playoffs, i saw this team keeping good chunk plays in both the Run and the pass. And of course against the Chiefs, they gave up 40+ points. Our D is going to define our season with the expected offensive production
  6. Yeah..On the same vein according to their analytics model, they handicapped McDermott due to the Super stars at QB, WR, DE and CB.
  7. I think Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes and Eli Manning will have objections on the "Hardest Working" part. He is trying to cheer his new teammate...and that is OK
  8. It took us 17 years and 17 different QBs and a guy wearing #17 to even have some level of playoff-level game. That in itself should tell who Jim Kelly was. He was a leader among men. Unfortunately his skill sets are vastly underrated.
  9. Agreed. Lamar is a much better player than Murray. Lamar won an MVP throwing 36 TD passes. Also, Murray is just "One Season" younger than the 2018 draft pick.
  10. The Ravens also could be low-balling hin... THey might be offering a $30M a year contract!
  11. This is going to be a one helluva team...I hope their destiny is hosting that Lombardi in February. Go Bills !
  12. I think it really comes down to what are Lamar's aspirations and what the Ravens are willing to pay him. The Raven's organization would have to understand that the market for elite QBs is $45M per year now with about 150 to 200M guaranteed. They would also have to thank Cleveland Browns for guaranteeing the 250M for Watson as now that becomes the barometer to gauge. Lamar needs to understand the value of signing a deal in this ballpark and move on with his career as winning a SuperBowl should be most important. The real questions are: * What does Lamar want ? * What are the Ravens offering. ? * How far apart are those two things. Josh Allen took the first contract offered as his focus is to win the SB. Taking a little less also allows Beane to surround Allen with better talent. Allen has chose the way of Brady and Rothlisberger so that his team remains competitive every year. Lamar needs to find that same soft spot that will help the Ravens be competitive.
  13. They already fell short the last two years at Kansas City. They really have no excuses this year after all the off season addition.
  14. Today I was listening to Locked On Bills and Joe Marino had an interesting take. The caller suggested that the Bills may go 12 personnel more this year with the addition of O.J Howard and James Cook. He believes the speed at the RB position gives Allen a lot more option. Similarly, Howard is very strong with his blocking and this could end up releasing Knox through the seam a lot more and he may benefit with the scheme to get more than the 49 catches he had from last year/. The writer referenced the Panthers doing this with two of the best TE in the league at that time (Shockey and Olsen). Interesting topic to discuss. I think our offense is really going to be dynamic. Additional comment: We have Mike Shula and Brady as coaches in the offense....they should help Dorsey become a better play caller. The same goes on the defensive side. With addition of Miller on the front seven and Kair Elam as a starting CB who doesn't need help, may force Poyer and Hyde to play true center field without having to cheat to go support the CBs. This might give them a better chance to match and cover the opposing TEs. The Bills have probably put together their best team in several years; even better than the past two years....They will have no excuses to win the AFC East. the AFC and the Superbowl. Go Bills!
  15. Poyer and Hyde couldn't keep up with the speed of Kelce and Hill
  16. They won on a punt block returned for TD...and you could sense that it was coming...that was the chilling point of that punt block The steelers play tough defense...our offense still hasn't been able to overcome that....
  17. He is probably doing this on 10s of lineman.....slow offseason time
  18. That is a classic McDermott'ism...Give enough information to entice you and yet make it a most meaningless statement!
  19. https://drsterett.com/5-pro-athletes-who-have-torn-their-acl McGahee tore his ACL (along with other things) in College National Championship and went on to become a top-40 RB in the NFL
  20. May be in time to become a great saftey after Hyde departs.
  21. Can they run the football effectively between the tackles
  22. All games where our opponent plays physical against our finesse offense and dfense - will always be TRAP games. Last year Steelers, Titans, Colts, NE and Jacksonville - all physically hit us everywhere and we couldn't recover.
  23. Correct. Bills Fans raised more than a million dollars to hospitals such as Oshai last two years. I don't think they expect the hospital and the charity to give them a physical gift in return. The Bills should have simply solicited donations by the. Jersey number of each of their favorite player and that would have generated far more donations. Go Bills.
  24. You don't bring down the Chiefs until and unless they fall down. The Chiefs will always start as the Conference favourite. Mahomes is clutch when it comes to winning close games. Justin Herbert lost too many last year that knocked them off the playoffs.
