  1. If they had any brains they would be envious.
  2. Fitzpatrick has moxie. Jones is Drew Bledsoe with a noodle arm. Maybe a little more mobility. Not much.
  3. One of the Pats scumbags said something after the "You" and Diggs shot back at them. It's awesome regardless.
  4. I always hear that from Pats fans. "What are you talking about bro? Refs are always against us " Insanity.
  5. Refs won't call a clean game in the playoffs.
  6. Well glad I was wrong. But I still question the integrity of the NFL on every play.
  7. Prediction: Pats get the ball with 2 minutes left to win the game. Win it after multiple questionable penalties against the Bills. Anybody want to bet against me?
  8. You didn't think the NFL was going to let us win the division, did you?
  9. Or how after the Bucs game, Brees changed the subject from Allen to the Bills DBs being out. If someone has the clip, this is how it went down: Co-Anchor: "Great comeback by Allen" Brees: "Yeah, he did well" Scrunches his face and does a slight wave. "But this Bills Defense without White...." I remember thinking, what was that about? Shouldn't Brees of all people recognize great QB play during difficult circumstances? Is Allen really glitching the matrix? A matrix that does not seem to want him to be so good.
  10. It's unconscionable. The NFL and the media, in lock-step, decide who the superstars are and should be. So why do they ignore Josh Allen? Is it because we're small market? What the heck is Aaron Rodgers then? Why is he promoted to infinity? What about the 6 week period where the entire country loved Gardner Minshew? I don't think Allen has ever got as much props nation-wide as Minshew got that year. It it because of the ratings? The Bills get good national ratings when they're on prime time. People believe whatever the narrative is that the media feeds them. If the media says Allen is an exciting player to watch with an amazing arm, they'll believe it. Instead the media says "Bills coaches have done a great job. Props to Daboll". What? That's the exciting story? That's the angle? Daboll? The chubby, bearded guy always shaking his leg when the camera is on him in the booth at least once a game. That's the star of this show? What??? Allen is an athletic marvel. Strongest arm in NFL history. Top 5-10 QB runner of all-time. Hurdles over LBs and DBs to get crucial first downs. 40 yard end zone ropes. WHERE IS THE NATIONAL EXCITEMENT? Why is Diggs the national star, but not Allen? It's not like Diggs came from the Cowboys or Giants. He came from Minnesota, another relatively small market team. No, Herbert is the next coming...apparently. How many casual fans, even on this very board, were drooling over Herbert last year in the midst of Allen's top 2 MVP finish? It's because of the media. Everyone follows their narrative. How many Bills fans were Lamar Jackson fans the last few years? Almost like they were rooting against their own team. This is 100% on the NFL and it's parrots in the media. They don't seem to WANT Josh Allen to be in the Pro Bowl. They don't WANT him to be a superstar. And after the Bucs ref debacle, it's clear they don't WANT him to beat players like Brady on primetime. Is it because they don't want to admit they were wrong about his draft status? Who cares what Bomani Jones and PFF thinks? These decisions are made from the top, and 180 narrative changes on a player are common-place. Allen the superstar is $$$$, Allen the analytical college bust is not. 2nd in MVP voting and all he got was a spot on a Wild Wings commercial? Has anybody seen that commercial? I saw it once. It was 15 seconds and Allen popped up for a second and then they showed a title over him. It was almost like they were embarrassed to have him in the commercial. Are Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson really better spokesman? Has anybody watched a Jackson interview before? Nobody questions that Wonderlic score. I hate to say it, but is it racial? Could be, but again, what about Rodgers? What about Mayfield? What about Herbert? What in the world is going on? Is there are repelling field around Allen? Nothing adds up or feels right about this. Why won't the NFL give the green light to the Allen - Superstar campaign? You don't think the NFL "tweaks" the vote counts to get the players they want in the Pro Bowl? They couldn't tweak it for Allen?
  11. I see you as one of the most well-balanced posters on this board, and the fact that I've seen you question officiating like this the last few weeks is very telling for me. I have something called the "Soviet friend" experiment. If I were to bring in a friend that grew up in the Soviet Union and showed them something they have never seen before, what would they say about it, having lived a life where everything was corrupt and the worst of authority and human nature was always on display. If I showed them the Bills- Bucs game, my assumption is they would laugh, say it's rigged so that the big star would win on primetime, and turn it off. If I were to ask them how it was possible that so many people could work together to deceive and keep a secret like this, they would laugh even harder and say they "get an offer they couldn't refuse". It's a silly experiment, but it offers an alternative viewpoint. Sometimes we get such cultural tunnel-vision from the echo chamber, that we no longer see what is obvious.
  12. Remember last year how everyone in unison wanted to give Rodgers the MVP over Allen because he had "no help". Now it's all about the stats. Funny how that all changes when it's a Bills player. "It's a big old club, and we're not in it!"
  13. It's all very strange. Ask any successful leader and there is a time in their life where they had to learn to control their emotions and "act like a leader" no matter whether they were right or wrong. Heck, even Allen has had to learn to remain stoic in the heat of the battle. But Brady? Life has gone a little too easy for him. Something is off.
  14. At this point, no "eye rolls" should ever be allowed in response to a post suggesting the Pats might be cheating. No matter how little evidence presented.
  15. Everyone knows what reasonable criticism looks like. But for Josh it has gone beyond that for 4 years.
  16. Haters seize on every opportunity. They still haven't let go of Rosen.
  17. The reason I don't get you is that we seem to be living in two different worlds. In my world, there has been a 100 year history (at least) of rigging games in baseball (Black Sox), basketball (see indicted ref), NFL (see Frontline documentary, hell look at Rooney and Mara bookie family history), Soccer, Boxing, Horse Racing, etc etc etc. I mean, just look at this https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_match-fixing_incidents So I understand someone coming from a place of "yes, this stuff exists, but it seems to be rogue and I have trouble accepting it at large scale". That's fine. That's understandable. But this extraordinary arrogance of "tin foil hat brigade"? Insulting people who are bringing up questions after a very questionable game. If I was a dime store psychologist, I would start wondering why YOU are acting so strange and hanging around this thread and keeping it alive. To add to this, look at the Wiki article. Look how much match fixing has been exposed in the last 20 years! This isn't some relic of the past. It's human nature and greed.
  18. They'll explain it away. Nudging is a great word for it. Subtle manipulation. You can spot it when you know to look for it. Refs are like conductors or puppet masters, they are subtly controlling the game and can help and hurt both sides depending on how exciting they want to keep the game. I think they were happy with a TB blowout, but when they saw Buffalo mount a comeback they stopped throwing flags until it got too close. They must have got word from NY to let them come back to make the game more exciting, and it was. Of course, it got too close for comfort and that's where all these terrible calls came to light. Amazing number of fans starting to wake up to game scripting. Two years ago a thread like this would've been closed after 3 pages.
  19. Insult then plays the "bigger man" card. Weak. Put your money where your mouth is.
  20. If they had an example in the dictionary for revisionist history, it would be this sentence.
