Not a fan of grits. I've spent plenty of time in the south and just couldn't ever like grits.

Wish 9-10 was an option. I see 9-7 or 10-6

Yeah, absolutely. I'll follow a winning team where it is cheaper to attend games...like the Redskins. -

Lucks retirement and Miller injury news effects Bills

Houston, Tennessee, and Jacksonville...that is the 9-7 derby. 10-6 should knock those teams out of the wild card hunt. -
You've just won the lottery...........

Not surprised. Their business is what these people were wired to do, they found their life's mission if you will. Not everyone figures out what floats their boat in life...it's not that easy, unfortunately. -
Probably not. I think he is done with football. From what I've read, it is not what he wants to do anymore.

Pro Football Network: Bills one of teams in on Clowney trade
Happy replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm definitely not suggesting living by the blitz; you can't do that vs Brady or Brees. Schwartz' scheme does not rely on winning 1-1 battles all the time. He is a little more aggressive than Frazier and attacks weak spots in the offensive line. Interesting, I did read articles last year from Philly media that criticized him for usually only rushing four and not blitzing much. They would tear Frazier's scheme apart. Yep. I specifically remember people on this board criticizing Mario as the $100M invisible man. Now he was the best DE since Bruce Smith. Mario was no where near the impact player that Bruce was. -

I don't either, and that is what would happen. Throwing money at a problem, alone, does not solve the problem. Frazier and McD would need to be more aggressive in their defensive scheme in order to get the most out of Clowney. I'm not saying to blitz all the time, but at least disguise blitzes, stunt, throw in different looks, etc. Don't just play a vanilla front four look and expect that to intimidate the opposing offense. A lot of people dug into me in the Clowney is trending... thread. That's fine and what makes this board entertaining. It really is interesting getting many different view points. -

I would too, but there are multiple people on here who would give the house for Clowney. -
What is it? A bird or Rabbit?

Don't be silly, you didn't even see the claws. It could be a T-rex -
I can deal with wings from a lot of different establishments as long as there is ranch dressing.

If you think Mario was worth his contract, then I'm not sure what to say. Mario was good, but didn't live up to $100M. Clowney is an excellent pass rusher, I won't doubt that, but he too will not be worth his contract. My thought is instead of setting a more aggressive defensive scheme, we're throwing money at the problem and asking (any DE) to win 1-1 battles with the tackle.

This has the makings of Mario Williams 2.0. Instead of a $100M invisible man, it will be the $135M invisible man. I want the DE position to be upgraded, but I don't think Clowney is the answer.

Group Chat: Your takes on the Defense tonight
Happy replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The defensive line was not winning 1-1 battles with the Lion's offensive line, giving Stafford way too much time to pass. It looked like the Bills defense left off from last December, rush four, maybe win a 1-1 battle on occasion (resulting in no QB pressure), and put the pressure of pass defensive squarely on the DBs. Completely backward approach; you can't count on the DBs to win at pass defense in a league that clearly favors the offense. Need to get pressure on the QB; McD claims to know this, but does he? I'm not sure what Frazier knows. -
Won't happen. Just sayin'

I know I'm just a fan and see what I see on TV, but I don't see the value. Maybe he walks around the facilities yelling "Process!" so no one forgets -

If they don't cut DiMarco, I don't know what they're thinking. He does nothing. -

Matt Patricia is much larger than Rex and it can't even be contested. Why is he sitting by the Gatorade buckets? Is there pizzas back there?
