Antonio Brown RELEASED, signed by PATS
Happy replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No doubt. This doesn't seem like it is straight. If I were the Raiders, I would want the league to check this out. Not like it will make a difference in the end, but still. -

WTF...I didn't think the Pats would touch AB with a 10 ft pole. Must be really desperate at WR. I hope AB acts like his usual diva self and gets suspended by Belichick. This is also why a pass rush is important. Brady needs to release the ball well before he's ready to. -

IF he goes to NE* there is definitely the chance of winning the SB, as much as I hate to admit. But AB will be disappointed, and probably throw a hissy fit, that he doesn't get the ball as much as he wants. Brady spreads it out. I'd assume Edelman gets more receptions than AB since Brady is very comfortable with him. AB would be a year by year or short term rental. No way will the Pats commit a long term, big money contract to him. I actually doubt AB winds up with the Pats; don't think they want that distraction/headache. -

Not sure about this. Pretty much every other team is going to be turned off to AB, who has a negative track record with the Steelers AND the Raiders in less than a year's time span. -
Julio 3 years $66 million G'td, $64m due at signing

Good for both parties. Probably Julio's last big payday and the Falcons and Matt Ryan need him. Still some big production left in Julio. -

Like an agent. Trying to shop AB around...he's looking forward to a new start! LOL -
If Mitch Morse finishes the game, you really need to repeat this post every week.

Yeah, that won't happen. He never comes back after the game. He's like a seagull...flies in, makes a lot of noise, $**ts all over the place, then leaves.

I suspect we're going to need some help. KC probably has the best shot at stopping NE.

I recall hearing that Kent Hull had to carry Jim Kelley through the tunnel and onto the field before some of the games, so not surprising that carried over to a game as big as SB. Those guys know what they did and have to live with the regret; and us fans living with the torture of losing four straight. Had they taken the SBs a little more seriously, they may have been 2-2 and recognized as one of the greatest franchises ever by going to four straight (record that still holds) and winning 50%.

Talley on 1050 in Toronto right now

Seriously? Andre Reed seemed to be nothing like AB. I'm surprised if he really said that. -
Dan Snyder: 20 years (and counting) of mediocrity
Happy replied to notwoz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Snyder is a meddling owner who treats the Redskins like it is his fantasy football team. He doesn't trust his football people, but instead installs "yes men" like Bruce Allen. Those who disagree with him don't last. I've heard stories from people who have worked for him; let's just say he's not exactly a humble person. Demanding and seems to think of himself as better than others. -
I meant this week vs Arizona. I agree with you that Detroit won't be that bad this year; Stafford is too up and down to go for/against Detroit on a weekly basis.

I thought about the Ravens, but I don't trust Lamar Jackson and their offense. But otherwise, anyone playing Miami and Arizona should be a good bet (though I don't trust Detroit, either). Redskins are going to suck this year, too; pretty much any team playing them has a good shot at a win.
