I think we go OT in the first , if we do go with Evans that would be a huge upgrade at WR & we need the big guy but i think due to the siv that was our O line last year & all the people brought in to help EJ the investment will be in a OT in the first . Then i think they will get his old buddy from FSU is it Benjamin in the second . EJ is very familiar with the guy playing with him in college & all so the learning curve would be shortened for both of them . I hope they can get a guy like Borland in the 3rd to bolster the LB corp i just think the guy will be the next London Fletcher ... That's my first 3 round picks 1) Lewan 2) Benjamin 3) Borland

Hopefully the guys that were brought in to help Hackett will be able to use their experience & open Hackett's & Marrones eyes to what they have & how to use it correctly . I can never understand why when a coaching change is made with all the tape from the previous season why the new coaching staff can't see beyond their noses & have to change every thing . They throw out all the good stuff along with the bad like letting O line coach DeAlisandris go with some good player after doing what he did for our O line & Dehaven ST coach for Crossman..

Same here bring him on he will be a stud for who ever gets him !! And i hope it's the Bills !!

I looked around & did n't see mention of this so if i missed it forgive me . Seeing as they are bringing in Spikes for a look & it could be due to Pepper Johnson & the change to a more 4/3 D would the possibility of more spice being brought in (at a veteran minimum) be a possibility ? Or has he been signed some where else ? I was thinking of the thought of adding more Pepper to the D as in Julius Peppers . You all think there would be any way we might be able to sign a guy like this ? If he was on the opposite side of Mario with Kiko, Spikes , Rivers (as long as they can squeeze some production out of him) & Lawson or one of our other LB's on the other side would be a pretty awesome D . Just asking ...

Thank you i get blasted for saying this stuff, glad to see i'm not the only one that doesn't get signing 1st rounders that flame out & such but hey it's apparently just me … The Broncos & Pats are having a excellent FA the Bills i don't see it refer to last 4 words of sentence above ...

We look at our FA moves & theirs and we wonder why they are among the best in the entire league & still wonder why we get no respect simply amazing !!! Well this will make it what 11 or 12 year in the play offs for them & we will be 14… or will it be 15 years out of the play offs ? HMMM .

WOW ! It's another exiting day if your a Bills fan we have signed 3 get it 3 players today of which 1 has had a pro bowl we are moving ahead by leaps & bounds ! Our proven players one of which that had a team high year last year in receptions, Chandler we will more than likely let walk . We couldn't have paid our guy the money he proved he deserves by his out put by simply leading the team & setting team records 2 consecutive years in a row that just wouldn't be right !! The Byrd thing was a given . I don't know what 6 years $56 mill nets you per year against the cap but the bills don't pay that kind of money unless your a QB named Fitz !! When you prove what you can do & your history shows it they can't pay that kind of cash it would just be wrong in so many ways !! Here's a little something on our 2 FA pick ups that gives me very high optimism that we are heading in the right direction with these signings . C. Williams - 2008 1st round pick who flamed out in Chicago but then resurrected his career "A BIT" over the last 2 years with the Rams . K. Rivers - SB Nation blog said Rivers had a QUIET but PRETTY PRODUCTIVE season . Rivers the former 1st rounder the Bills HOPE to SQUEEZE production out of . Man I can't wait till this season starts WOW it just doesn't get any better than being a Bills fan this time of year, the only thing that might be any better is being a player !! Well we must have a ton of confidence in our coaching staff to pay this kind of money for these highly touted players only to know we have in place the coaching staff to mold these guys back in to top tear talent ! At first it looked all but a done deal & all we had to do was say By By Byrd- y when his new team shoveled the money in front of him . It started with the hype of the Browns & Pettine which i thought was legit , then the Dolphins & Bucs & St Louis . But to this point it looks like at least a couple of them are out of the Byrd stakes . The Dolphins have with drawn they signed the guy from Detroit , the Browns have signed Donte to a home coming & are talking about bringing in Revis which along with Haden already back there will be really good secondary almost second to none in Pettines scheme .. St Louis could still be in there along with the Bucs but as it has been said the Bills are still in the hunt & by not using the F Tag i think seeing as Byrds options are slowly but surely dwindling the longer it takes him to find the highest bidder the more likely he could stay a Bill . Then with all the other FA's coming around & the talk of the Bills needing another DE in Schwartz scheme i was thinking how much i like pepper & a little more Peppers on our D could really spice things up if you know what i'm saying as long as it wouldn't cost to much . Well once again it could very well prove just how much this fan doesn't know about the inner workings of the NFL & It's FA stuff . It may be alright to bring him in for a look but i am more interested to see what the kid from Arkansas that was pulled up at the end of last year has to offer . We already know this guys history & at one time i was high on him but he hasn't showed a lot since entering the NFL . I like the stable of backs that we have but it can never hurt to look ! I just wish we would use our FB Summers more like they did when Sam Gash was here what a great FB ! What is the kids name from AR. ??

The only knock i can see is he is only 6' 3" tall so in my eyes if he is that fast then put him out wide . We need a BIG TE like Chandler 6' 7" tall or at least 6' 4" tall so he can be a more viable threat in the red zone . We have enough 6' 2 or 3" guys we need size at WR & TE !! Unless he plays like Boldin does a 6' 3" guy that plays big as Whaley says !!

I'm not talking stars I'm saying above average players that can contribute to make the team better such as Rhinehardt & it wouldn't take much digging to find others in Rhinehardt's mold that helped the Bills be better that they just let walk with out trying to keep or get any thing for the player . If you want to talk stars that had moved on from B/Lo, Nate Clemens, Sam Adams, Ted Washington, Jason Peters, Poz, Antione Winfield, Pat Williams, Marshawn Lynch, Jabari Greer, these players alone would have put us in the play offs ! Heck even little Donte Whitner, has had a really good career maybe not star status but very productive . We keep letting these types of players walk we will be tied to the basement of the AFC east for ever & eventually the team will be gone because the fans will get sick of it !!

Why can't the Bills have this kind of foresight to see when a player truly helps a team be better go out & keep the player or players that do just that ? Why can't they start their negotiations on contract extensions a year or more before the players contract is up in order to keep the good players around ? Such as in the Byrd, Levetrie, Greer, Poz, & others situations . There will be more of these type of defections in the near future for the Bills too as long as they are not aggressive in trying to keep the guys we have . The article below shows what happens to a team when it sees a guy that helps & they keep him dispute a injury , & this guy could have still been in a Bills uni & we wouldn't have had the trouble with our O line as we did last season , BUT NOOOOO !! Now he is staying where the grass is definitely greener & helping this team to stay a play off contender ... Once we get rid of all the dead money from these ignorant contract signings & hopefully they won't do any other stupid things like get rid of Lawson so we have more dead money to add to what is already there we should be able to have more to spend to keep the good players we have on the roster ... Plus if they get rid of Kold, Pears & a couple of other before the the start of the official season we should have even more cap space to extend our core players ...

I believe that that could have been some of the reason why they didn't tag Byrd . I think Whaley may have had a good long talk with Jarius & the talk was about him being able to see what was out there in FA & that the only way the Bills would have a chance at him coming back was allowing him to do so . But i truly don't see him coming back ! I think Cleveland has the kind of money to go get Byrd & with the way Byrd enjoyed working with in Pettines scheme i think it's all but a done deal . Which is one reason why it baffled me why the Bills didn't tag him & start talking trade with the Browns to add to the amount of draft picks we have . It's been nice watching Byrd in a Bills uni i just hope if he does leave he goes to the 49ers or some where where we don't have to see him 2 times a year . Bye Bye Byrdie !!

I was blessed 2 years ago to go to the Bills game against the Pats . The Bills were leading at the half by 28 & the Pats came back to clean the Bills clocks . I will always remember that day because it was a day that Jim Kelly took the time to spend a few minutes with this fan . The guy that was one of the biggest & best Bills to ever be & he was & is just a seemingly normal person . Yet his super human drive to help & please others while putting his own personal pain & loss makes him a real life super hero ! Superman & Batman have nothing on Jim Kelly he is the true Captain America

Glenn being a proven player at the LT position & having a year in the offense i don't personally see it happening , especially when they have said the weak link in our O line is RT & LG . I can't see putting a rookie into such a important position unless this guys play just dwarfs Glenns play . I can see them taking Lewan & then in the later rounds taking a guy like the kid from Notre Dame if he is still there . It has been said that this year is very deep in a lot of positions & O line is one of them . Plus you can never tell what this FO is thinking , the minute you think you have a handle on it they go & do something completely off the track .
