That would be one of those contracts that would come back to bite you which is the contracts that Bean has tried & successfully done away with the only thing this guy cares about is the money he has no loyalties only to the all mighty $ ... I know there is a ton of talk here & else where lately on the Antonio Brown situation but there are a couple of things with in the situation that i don't understand & i was wondering if any of the Bills fans here could give some clarification to these things of which i sit & ponder ? ? Okay we all know that AB is not happy because of what ever happened in Pittsburg & recently he & his agent met with Mr. Rooney to see where this whole thing stands. We also know that prior to this meeting Mr Rooney was trying to reach out to see if the situation could be fixed so that told me that he really didn't want AB to leave but apparently AB has had strong enough reasons to want to leave & Mr. Rooney is now in a place where he knows he may as well just let him go because of what ever reasons he has . Now comes the part where i need the help ! Seeing as the Steelers JUST redid his contract for really big money & more than likely he had a ton of guarantees in that contract (& both sides agree'd to the contract) if AB is the one that wants out WHY should the Steelers be stuck honoring the monetary part of the contract but AB isn't expected to honor his end of the contract ? Also when AB goes to another team just like the situation with Fitz yrs ago AB will not only be getting paid from the Steelers but from his new team too ! Which in the future will tell other prime donna types that if i just decide i want to be a jack ass after i agree to a huge contract & i decide i don't like something i can leave & i can make a lot more money !! Ive heard in the past players saying derogatory remarks about the NFL owners (& possibly other major sports owners) mind set about how they conduct things but dam where do i sign up for a multi million dollar deal just so i can walk away & still get all the money for something that i no longer have to do the work for I'll do that crap all day long & be a happy camper ! Isn't there some kind of stipulation some where that says if the player doesn't want to honor the former contract they signed that he can walk & get paid if he can find another team that is willing to take on that contract & it's monetary commitment but not by the previous team if it is the players decision to not honor his end of the contract ? I could see like in the Fitz situation they signed the contract & then the "Team" decides to cut the player then that's on the team they should pay the guy because he is willing to fulfill his end of the contract . You see this all the time !! Just this year with Clay he still makes like $4.5 Mill from the Bills because they cut him . But this case is the opposite & if it is the opposite shouldn't the rules be the same in as if the player decides for what ever reason (other than injury) not to honor his end that he should be made to give up at least something ? Mr.Rooney reached out repeatedly to AB (it seemed) to resolve the issues at hand but in the end AB didn't want to or as it sounds both sides have come to the conclusion that things couldn't be rectified so they would agree to disagree & AB will be leaving & is making out like a bandit yet some one else will sign him & he will be twice as rich collecting on 2 contracts just because he wants to be that guy !! ? I don't know what the rules are but something just doesn't seem to be right & if it is right it sure doesn't seem fair . Is there any one out there that can add some clarification to this ?

I would have thought the TV contracts would have covered that at least ?? They must be on a prove it deal !!

If by some chance the Bills do decide or should i say the Bills are pressured into building a new stadium sometime in the future they will have the best practice facility in the entire NFL . I just don't understand how Buffalo fans will be able to support the big ticket prices & all those fancy new crap that is unnecessary your there to watch football & drink beer if you need to be on the internet watching your phone being a yuppy then stay home & watch the game on TV ! Just do what they did in Miami & build a roof that is retractable over the place it can be done !!

Seeing as a young QB needs a good TE to bail them out from time to time thats probably why they brought him in . Good luck with that !! ?

It didn't go quite as planned but they definitely came out smelling like a rose ! We all second guessed a lot of moves this past year me being one of the biggest passing judgement on some of the decisions made but it looks as if it worked out for the best ! Now if they can just get a O line to give the dude some time so he's not running for his life not that that was a bad thing but if he is to develop a high powered passing game he needs to have time & a good O line is the only way he can do that !!

Dude had some wheels i love the long runs where he just pulls away from the defenders that was one hell of a year he had here to bad it was only one he was a great person & a really good team mate !! Too bad he was a 1 & done player ...

So then basically what he's saying in that article is he will be the second coming of Doug Flutie correct ? (Boy is that going to piss off some of these Bills fans ?) Flute did everything that he said Murray will do in his NFL career it's just that Doug proved it could be done first ! Once this kid hits the NFL you can watch all of the comparisons to Flutie will start . There are a lot of Bills fans for what ever reason that hate Flutie & i for one don't get it & never will but this guy is built from the same mold & when he is drafted he will once again prove that the "Prototypical NFL-QB" doesn't have to be "Prototypical" when it comes to height only in football smarts & arm strength . Which to this point Tarkington, Jurgenson, Flutie, Bree's, Wilson, & Mayfield, which the first 5 of these 6 are listed as the Best QB's in NFL history who are 6' or less Murray could be the next ...

It wouldn't surprise me if either Bell or Brown or both go to the Patriots just for the simple fact that would give Brady another ring in what could be his last year & then Bill could possibly win another after Brady his gone which i think he would love to do to show that he is more than the guy that had the G.O.A.T. at QB for all those yrs !! Plus Brady is probably the only guy either of those 2 would listen to because after Brown saying in his latest tweeter thingy that he isn't going to play along in this NFL makes me think he thinks he's better & doesn't have to conform which is BS !! Also another reason why "This NFL" TV rating are going down consistently & will continue to because of Yahoo's like this guys !!

WOW that contract for Bortles was like the BS contract the Bills gave Fitz ! What are these guys thinking when they do these kind of contracts don't they take the past into consideration at all ? I mean it's only one part of the season that was decent on Fitz situation & Bortles wasn't off the charts good he was just decent he sure wasn't any Joe Montanna or any thing yet they give him a contract worth all that money & now they are screwed because like Fitz went back to his old self ! First off the people that gave the contract should be fired for being that foolish in both instances which i think the Bills did just that, even though Fitz is a great guy & Bortles may be too they need to take the past into consideration & at least make these contract incentive laden so they don't get burnt like they are which is part of the reason why a good or decent play like Jenkins has to be let go . Who knows i hope because of other GM's stupidity the Bills might t be able to pick up a couple of these guys that could help them out for not a lot of money because our GM is smarter than theirs !!

Hey they have Anderson on the roster & i would say that he is more of a waste of cash & a roster spot than having Shady, with the hire of the new QB coach i think Anderson is expendable because he will be just another set of eyes on the side line & may never see the field . In Shady's case he still has worth to the rookies they bring in because it looks given the RB's in this draft that the Bills will pick up another rookie to be a replacement for Shady & he can help on & off the field with his experience & be the veteran in the room . Shady has been pretty much a model team mate the only reason that i see them getting rid of him is if his off the field issues become a problem & any truth to him being the guy that his ex says he is then i see McD releasing him & moving on but if that doesn't happen i see him hanging in there unless of coarse Bean puts together some unreal deal & schmoozes some team into a deal like they made for Hughes you never know with Bean ...

There are a few players i would have liked to see them keep that i believe may have helped Allen a bit more than some of those they have now those being R.Wood, Goodwin, & O'leary with Zay, Foster, & Thomas i think the WR/TE room would have given him many more receptions than who they have now but McBean know talent better than i do i guess ?

I would hope that having the cannon that he has he will develop into a very dangerous pocket passer but have the run as a weapon only if he needs it & with that the opposition will always have to keep that in mind but this year may be different now that they have some tape on him & i would hate for him to get his bell rung & be out for a few games . But he seemed to get better with sliding & i think even while in college running was part of his game mainly because his lack of a O line to protect him which was the same here last year !! I hope McBean can get that fixed & that too will help him to not have to run nearly as much .

Although this has nothing to do with our beloved Bills team i was wondering after reading a couple of articles if this scenario could play out in this years draft which would or could be one big OMG moment that could put this draft down as one for the ages . With a bunch of teams looking for a franchise QB this year due to injury or cap cuts due to a lot of cash due to a player that hasn't proven to be more than a average QB in the NFL , if you were the Cards would you pull off a big trade ignorer to get a hyped QB & the possibility of 2 number one picks ? Arizona sits at number 1 & last year had picked their franchise QB in the draft but that HC is now gone, now in this years draft while sitting at #1 a heisman trophy winning QB in Kyler Murray that is as good as his predecessor Baker Mayfield (which was this yrs ROTY) in most every way is there for the taking . With some teams in desperate need of a QB NYG at 6, Jacksonville at #7, Miami at #13, & Washington at #15, do you think any of these teams might be willing to trade for one Josh Rosen for their first round pick in order to get a possible franchise QB of the future for a rookie contract ? I know the for the Giants a #6 might be a bit high but the Cards might give back another say 3rd round pick & Jacksonville with the cluster F that they have with their QB & the $$ tied up there they may be tempted to do the same . But this sets up with the talk of the Fins getting rid of Tanehill & given what has happened with Washington to Smith and given Snyders past with going big or go home moves this might be the perfect spot & yr for this to happen . Arizona is not only sitting in the drivers seat as far as the first over all pick but if Kingsbury which at one point raved about Murray is one of the coaches of the future & has any guts would make this happen not only to give his team a great player for the future but the possibility of 2 first round picks either this yr or 2 in another draft, talk about a first yr HC making his mark in the NFL even if he did fall on his face this move would be one for the ages !! I wonder if Amendola or Crabtree would be worth a affordable contract I wasn't Crabtree fan but he seemed to calm down a bit after not being the player he first though he was going to be when coming into the league I think he has been humbled a bit but still is a competitor . He may be a good get just haven't followed him enough to know, & Amendola was a good receiver too but didn't watch him in Miami at all so i guess either would be a crap shoot ...
