    We scored the most points in the league with meh receivers. I don't deny that when you need one play by a special player, we don't seem to have it, and that can be the difference in winning a championship. That goes for both sides of the ball. But all in, once again, defense and smart situational awareness won out. I'd rather drop big coin on a D stud than a WR.

    Our base D rush is the LDE crash inside and get swallowed up while the RDE loops wide and runs past the QB. The two DT's get stuffed and we pray the QB overthrows or the receiver drops the pass. In the process, we ignore screen passes. On key third downs, we play even softer. It is the way.

    At some point younrealize that this team has gone as far as it can go under McDermott. We'll see this movie again next year. Failing in big moments is part of his legacy. 13 seconds and yesterday should have been Ws.

    Is puzzlement the lack of targets. Maybe saving specific plays for him for the post season?

    Well, at the end of all these posts you just have to ask yourself, do I feel good about this D heading into the playoffs? I sure as Hell don't.

    Can't say he's the second best Bill but Spencer Brown has become a force this year. Lock him up.

    When it matters, Oliver gets owned. Honestly, he brings not a lot to the table. We need two new talented DTs. The kid they drafted this year could be one of them.

    The D cost us the game. We would have been better off pulling the D and using speed bumps. Pathetic.

    Hits like a truck. Forces fumbles and makes plays. His penalties are down and he's fitting in to McD's system. This is a great signing. McD and Beane get all the slack they need from me on drafting, trading for and developing safeties and CBs.

    The 4-2-5 is solid during the regular season but if we get in against a powerhouse downfield running team, it's a match up nightmare. The worst match up I see would be Philly. That would be a pounding. Not crazy about Pacheco being back with KC. My kingdom for Ted Washington in his prime.

    The whole world saw it except for the ref who was standing there watching. The refereeing continues to be abysmal.

    I'd take Andy Reid's game acumen and savvy over McD's "how to give games away at the last second" legacy. He built an offense and defense that just wins year after year. He coaches at an elite level. You are what your record says you are and he's the best. Just count the rings. I firmly believe if Mahomes were a Bill he'd still be looking for his first ring.

    Who are your trade targets and who gets cut to make room? Who gets restructured for cap space? This kind of stuff is easy to write but herculean to accomplish by the deadline. If Beane pulls off even one other move I'd be amazed.

    I agree. But KC won't ask too much of Hopkins. He will be clutch on needed 3rd downs and makes them a better team. He will be the new Kelce on 3rd down.

    I have to think Williams is our Will LB for the rest of the season/post season. Milano' healing/game shape is really optimistic for this season.
