Does Beane have a trade with Schoen Lined Up???
Green Lightning replied to cbatl32's topic in The Stadium Wall
And the guy who gets drafted first could do squat (See 2023 draft). At 6, they'd be better off trying to move up this year. -

Why would he Jints store picks to grab a QB next year? Do it at pick 6. -
Well, he tore up his knee pretty badly and was still coming back from it last year. Could be a solid depth piece.

So You Need to Move Diggs..Why the Texans??
Green Lightning replied to Rich Stadium Original's topic in The Stadium Wall
Some look at the Texans and say why? Beane looks at the Texans and says why not? -
At least it's the strongest contender...

We can still win a Super Bowl this year
Green Lightning replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Everyone's replaceable. My point is replacing half the team in one off season will take some time to mesh. At a time when AFC teams are making leaps and gains, we're playing catch up. By season's end, we should know if our second window is open or not. We absolutely pissed away Josh's first SB window. -

It's a tall order to say you lose WRs 1&2, starting CB and your 2 safeties, some DTs, and a revamped OLine and say we're as good as we were. It's a necessary step back but a step back nonetheless. I hope it comes together in time to make a playoff run this season. KC is better, Cincy is back, Chargers look better, Browns, Jets and Ravens look good. And the Texans look like a breakout team. So precious little room for error. Diggs lost faith in this team, with good reason. We find ways to lose in crunch time. Maybe this latest talent turnover will fix that. I'm hopeful but not expecting it this year. -
going to take a lot more than next year's 2nd to do that.
-
After the shock of it, looks like a good long term move for the team and a year to work back into the SB window in 2025. Josh always gives us a chance, but likely we'll be good, but not in KC's class.

What's the dead cap? No we have no #1 receiver. So is Beane ssaying Mahomes did it without a clear #1, have at it Josh?
-
Jests being Jests aside, that is one helluva defense with several elite players and the rest good-to-great.

DeShawn Williams (DT) Expected To Sign With Bills
Green Lightning replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane just doing his job. Fill out the roster and when better players come along, sign them and lose the other one. -
To draft a WR or not with 1st round pick
Green Lightning replied to Magox's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just because we pick a receiver in the first round at 28 doesn't mean he's a 1st round talent. Past the top 5, (Mitchell is #5) the rest are second day picks IMO. So why pick a WR in the first round just to say you did it? -
After yesterday who is your WR pick at 28?
Green Lightning replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Past Mitchell, I'd wait for round 2. No longer a fan of Franklin in round 1. -
Another ridiculous rule for incompetent refs to interpret. How else can you tackle from behind?
-
True. And jockeying draft picks to Find QB!
-
Fish and Jests spending big in FA. Obviously they think we are less and they are more at this point. If it weren't for JA17, they probably be right.

Diggs cryptic comments - 2024 edition
Green Lightning replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd take a 3rd and a 5th and the other team picking up a chunk of the dead cap. Then move up and grab one of the top X's in the draft. We'd struggle at first but would finish just fine. -
Bills Host DT Sebastian Joseph-Day on Visit
Green Lightning replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
He's only running a few feet with a fat guy in front of him. That's fast enough. Scary thought. He's 5 inches taller and 115 pounds heavier than I am, yet has a faster 40 time. So I couldn't even run from him. Damn.
