The fix is in-- Lynn will be the new head coach
shane nelson replied to jahnyc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Continuity means a lot to the Pegula’s, which for the Bills makes a lot of sense. They bought into “Snake Oil Rex” and will not want to make the same mistake again. They trust and like Whaley, he is not going anywhere. I am totally fine with Anthony Lynn taking the helm, assuming he is willing to bring in a strong coordinator to run the D. Todd Bowles, will probably be canned. He could be a great DC. In my opinion, a smart head coach, especially a rookie HC, brings in coordinators who have had HC experience. Someone who understands the pressure points and delegation requirements. -
PFW: Tom Coughlin the favorite to replace Rex Ryan
shane nelson replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No, god no. I go to almost all Giants games, while he has won two SB, those seasons, especially the first were ugly. Poor game planning and terrible clock management, the only time they played to their strength was in the playoffs. With the talent they had, and a HOF QB, they should have won 10 games plus every year. Look at the close games last year that they blew, as I recall 5 games because of poor clock management, game planning and player preparation. He is 71 years old, we have a questionable QB, he is not the man to rebuild this team. At least not on the field. Tom, you have had your day. You will probably be in the HOF. Enjoy your family and health but please don't come to Buffalo, don't take the opportunity away from a younger person that could still be our coach when you finally leave the game. -
I really struggle with this, I have great seats at the Bills sideline and by the players tunnel but i live 6 hours away and dont get to many games. Therefore i sell most of my tickets on line. I dont want to give them up because i will never be able to secure such good seats. I know I should, but i can't. NFL schedule makes never does us any favors, especially when there are 3 Dec games. Ouch. First things first, I am not renewing Sundayticket. Way too much money. Next year i may just try to sell my entire seasons to one buyer. As an fyi, if you use an NFL credit card you do not pay any interest for NFL tickets. So if you happen to sell them its a great way to get free financing

Let's promote the slowest, most incompetent burger flipper so he can no longer grill and slow down production. If he does not go at least 9-7 or losses to the Browns he is done like dinner.

The Bills should acquire Cutler.
shane nelson replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great call, let's sign him and convert him into a extra point kicker. We could sign him week to week based on weather conditions. -
My daughter went to VT and I watched most Logan T games. He is a great athlete, but not a NFL caliber QB and never will be. At times he looked brilliant but most of the time he looked lost. The position to him was not intuitive. Should have always been a TE. He will be a project, but it should, I hope, pay off. Good move by the Bills

Pats/Bills, same year as the Music City Miracle. 4th and long, time running out and Bledsoe throws a Hail Mary. Its dropped, game over we win. Wait there is a yellow flag on the field. "Pass Interference" ball is placed on the 1yard line. Bledsoe throws to his tight end. Touchdown. Not only cost us the game, cost us the division, a bye and the Titians game would have been the bye week. Bastards The Bills, no matter what they do. I love them!

Very simple, very logical. There should be two pass interference rules. Intentional pass interface, this is at the point of the foul where it clear a large gain was impact by blatant contact before the ball is there. This would be called probably less than 10% of the time Then Pass Interference would be reduced to 15 yards and a 1st down. This would address almost 50% of the real PI and the other 40% were the refs blow it. Last year PI probably cost us a playoff spot go Bills. Damn no what they do............i love them

All Hail Doug Whaley! Look At All He's Done!

you are what your record says you are..........................but we do appear to be headed in a better direction than we were Buddy-weiser -
I don't this his true value and intelligence were appreciated until well after he passed. The structure of the stadium lease almost ensured the Bills would stay here then his foundation gave so much of his wealth back to the community. He clearly loved Buffalo, its people and the Bills. RIP RCW.............you have earned it

NFL Execs say Bills should get moving on new stadium
shane nelson replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Upside of new stadium -It will ensure that the Bills are here for the next 30 to 40 years and even beyond -To be candid, a lot of the game day problems go away when PSL and higher price tickets are involved -PSL can be transferred/resold and tend to go up in value (I live in NJ and did research before buying them for the Giants) Downside -Clearly upfront cost -Unknown quality and location of a new stadium When Metlife was built we lost a lot of friends who did not have the cast for PSL. That being said, new ones have arrived and pregame activity is just as much fun. While no one really loves Metlife there are very few, if any game day issues. That cannot be said about the old Giant Stadium. The NFL is a business. If we want the Bills here for our lifetime and our kids, we need the new stadium -
NFL Rule Changes Coming in 2016
shane nelson replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really think the pass interference penalty is real joke. There should be two rules "intentional pass interference" at the spot of the foul like we have today and "pass interference" which is 15 yards and a first down. I hate games coming down to a referees whistle and too often PI is pretty minor with major ramifications. -
Extend his contract for an additional year maybe two with a decent bump. If after two more years he plays at the same or better then pay him market value. We have struggled so much at this position, the toughest position in all of sports. We cant afford to loss TT If he does play at a high level next year he will demand and get a lot more in Bu$$alo or somewhere else

Chargers file for LA relocation
shane nelson replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I never understood why they just don't build a stadium is Southern Orange County between Hwy 5 and the commuter train station and call the team the Southern California Chargers. LA gets its team and the fine people of SD have a 45 to 60 minute drive. -
I think he is a solid receiver, its a shame Percy H did now work out because Woods would have really been able to shine. With that said, you need depth at the receiver position so a 2nd or 3rd would not be an issue. However there are many needs on this team, i am not sure a WR warrants a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Its work in progress, but as a starter he has exceed all reasonable expectations. He has the potential to become an elite QB over the next few years -

At times i read some of these comments in total disbelief. QB at the NFL level is the hardest job in pro sports. There are maybe 10 great QBs in the world. TT as a first time starter exceeded all reasonable expectations. He has a solid arm, throws with precision and is incredibly mobile. Our record is a result of poor coaching, weak defense and way too many penalties not QB play. Clearly he must develop his two minute drill and become the team leader. But based on what he has demonstrated I don't understand how any reasonable fan can be disappointed. Heck, i think many people on this board would have thrown Jim Kelly under the bus his first few years as he adjusted to the NFL level. -
The Real Reason the Defense Has Struggled
shane nelson replied to Flip Johnson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IMO 4 things cause injures -Bad Luck (which is the majority) -Players out of position -Smaller players vs larger players -Strength and conditioning 3 of the 4 can be addressed. Good coaches make adversity opportunity. Others make it an excuse. -
The MMQB: Is Tyrod Taylor "The Guy"?
shane nelson replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
2 minute offensive has been terrible. The 2nd half of almost every game has been terrible. Time management in general is bad, much of the play calling has been drive killers. Use of TO awful. Clearly TT needs to step it up, its a massive learning process as a rookie starter. I am a HUGE fan of his. I just felt Rex was diverting on TT instead of addressing the core problems of this team which is prep and mental discipline.
