  1. you should re-evaluate some priorities in your life. its a shame but to let something you have no control over and that has no direct effect on your life carry that much weight is unhealthy Sven
  2. you may as well ask who do you think has the next young franchise qb if the answers us, definitely. If not, we are in the spin cycle with the rest of them for the foreseeable future.
  3. jokes aside, on that Cunningham hit he may have been and I was a little surprised they didn’t check him - though it’d take A LOT for the official to make that call
  4. giving josh a lot of credit for being cool, calm, aware of the entire field and making calculated decisions during an absolute melt down. that guy isn’t your FB with 3 yards/game average. You let brown and beas make plays.
  5. I know Allen was walking out like ain’t no thing after the run. It’s possible they gave him a “rush to the line and do this” instruction before the snap and he ignored it though. regardless, that sequence lands on him too for sure and is one of my knocks in his first half. A strong coach/qb VERY rarely see that sequence unfold like that and it’s not been rare that they flub it when the clocks ticking down It’s still a tough play to a guy you’ve kept inactive all year. With a timeout in your pocket there are plenty of ways that last 30 seconds okay out and that includes a solid 2 additional shots, and having the rest of the field available for plays instead of a spike and fast dart to duke
  6. how they didn’t have two plays in to Allen there is beyond comprehension
  7. does it give you pause that an official working his 21st(?) game of the season thought this was unique behavior for a returner in games he’s called?
  8. I haven’t gone back to watch a replay, honestly. So it could be out of the norm. But of the reasons we lost, or conspiracies against us- I’ll have a hard time getting fired up on this one, pretty much no matter what.
  9. Ultimately the Texans should score a pair of tds, and I don’t care if it’s the 3rd and 4th quarter or 2nd and 4th. They held a good offense to under league average points even through an extra quarter. the guys in defense weren’t perfect by any means but we are talking an above average day from a defense vs the offense not scoring a TD after the first drive and having a historic dumpster fire at the end
  10. would really not matter if he went down and they never gave him the ball back. its just good situational awareness
  11. They just gave them a ton of yards free
  12. Shouldn’t have run it in
  13. Wasn’t moving forward
  14. I think you have to add a true reliable 1, and a good developmental player (By that I mean a vet or TOP pick, plus a mid rounder). That takes 4 spots. Leaves Roberts and the gang fighting for 2 max
  15. if he was a key player making our big plays, it’s no shock the outcome. the guys a depth role player not a cornerstone
  16. hell, our FB pulled 2 defenders 30 yards out of the play- a win until we throw it at him if He pancaked two guys we’d celebrate him
  17. after that display I’m a lot more understanding of the hand cuff him til you can’t approach than I once was at one point. I didn’t think he had THAT in him.
  18. it’s generally not called dead on at 0- if the nfl wanted it’d be an easy fix to have the clock tied to the officials but leaving it visual they seem a-okay with about a second lag as standard margin of error.
  19. don’t go down with the ship on defending Allen’s second half. plenty of promising items from the season to latch onto if you want to but that’s 20 or so minutes you box up, bury and pretend never happened.
  20. I’d want another reply but it felt like I’ve seen similar called in other teams games this year
  21. Are you complimenting him or insulting them? Just something to think about.
  22. he’s a fine #5-6 but those calling for him to start are out of touch with the league. hes a fringe guy that can fill in injury or packages but you need several guys much better than him on a roster.
  23. I didn’t say or even imply we need to replace him. though there are lots of red flags there are some promising bits to. but to say it was a great half I want it to be a good half compared to good QBs playing good ball not compared to josh playing bad ball. To give it “A” grades, call it great, or brilliant as the board has I want it to be a better than average half for any of the big time guys. He played ok in the first half and showed some progression but also got away with a few of his usual challenges. that he didn’t miss easy throws by 4 ft isn’t a brag
