Yeah, gotta stop with the injury excuses. It's a part of the game and good teams prepare for injuries. If the true playoff caliber teams of the league, even wildcard level like the Rams, Jets, and Steelers, suffer injuries at the same level we've been dealing with I bet they'd still find a way to beat Jacksonville.

Phantom call on Robey =Royally Screwed in England
Talley56 replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was hard to see with the feed we were watching on but it looked like we got away with a blatant PI on the pick-6. Not to mention the horrible roughing the pass play where it looked like they hit EJ cleanly and the suspect uncatchable PI called on them on the 2pt try. Not saying the PI call on Robey wasn't bad, it was a horrible call, but it certainly looked like we got our fair share of calls too. This loss falls on the team as a whole from coaching down to the players NOT the officials. -
Do we have to root for the Pats vs Jets Sunday?
Talley56 replied to Gasjuggler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Making the playoffs ahead of the Jets won't depend on whether the Patriots beat them or not. It will depend on whether or not we beat them. I'm rooting for the Jets over Pats. -
Wild Card Race - Why is TBD giving up?
Talley56 replied to Wazzu Bill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeap, agreed, we really only have a shot at the last playoff spot but I think it is very attainable. Jets's schedule has been soft and it will get tougher, Chargers just don't look that good this year, Chiefs lost all hope when Charles went down, Texans are just bad. -
We could still get 10-11 wins...

Dolphins looked scary yesterday under Dan Campbell. Routed a team we barely beat just a week ago. Not saying we'll lose to them but they won't be as easy as they were in week 3. -
Giving up a 90 yard drive to start the 2nd half after we scored to end the first half is a product our offense going 3 and out? Also, ST is partly to blame for the field position.

Not necessarily, maybe he just didn't want Miami's D-coordinator job seeing what a train-wreck they've been all season (today's game aside). -
Concerns and Encouragement going into Bengals game
Talley56 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Encouragement - we will be, by far, the Bengals' toughest road test up to this point in the season. -
Looked around as I heard about this (I'm heading up to the game as well). Weather.com said just rain and accuweather.com was saying snow possibly. Haven't heard anything about a full wintry mix but if you have another source that is better about predicting Buffalo weather (haven't tried Buffalonews.com) please let me know (I'll admit I'm not the best at driving in snow/sleet type weather).

Week 6 predictions: Bengals at Bills
Talley56 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
While I'm not in the company that believes EJ can still turn things around I think, even with him at QB, we are the toughest road test the Bengals have had up to this point in the season. I think our secondary can handle the likes of Green, Sanu, Eifert. Bills 20 Bengals 13 -
Right now yes but I think in the long run with Ben coming back for Pittsburgh the Chargers are far less likely to be contending for a wildcard spot and going into week 17, if we are still in it, I really think we'll be wishing the Chargers had held on to win this one. But I will agree in that the coming stretch and how we play our own games will determine how far we go.
-
This is bad for us. I don't see the Chargers contending for a wild card spot but the Steelers will when Ben comes back. We needed them to lose as much as possible with him out.
-
Agree about the o line but I'd say Taylor has done more to prove himself than Roman.
-
Going to give an honorable mention to Eric Wood because of one play. On our first TD drive he recovered the Herron fumble at around midfield. If he doesn't we don't get on the board on that drive and we most likely lose the game.

Ok, prove me wrong: Offsides on kickoffs
Talley56 replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not sure about this call but either way I felt like the Unnecessary Roughness call against Graham that kept the Titans' late drive alive was far worse. -
They barely beat the Ravens in their last road game and we look like we are clearly than the Ravens. I think we stand a better chance than people might think.

I'm okay with Tyrod running more. But I think once he gets first downs he needs to learn to slide instead of taking hits in order to try and make a move for more yards. If he keeps taking hits like some of the ones he took today I believe it won't be a matter of if but when will he suffer a serious injury that will keep him out for a long period of time. A healthy Tyrod is far more important than 10, 20, even 30 more yards on a play.

Zebra Report Week 4 - NJG vs. Bills
Talley56 replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I might be thinking of a different play but if it is the play I'm thinking of as I recall Tyrod was still in bounds and he may have been moving towards the OOB but he was still on the green and was still able to make a play. Are you going by the photo-shopped picture from another thread? Replays show Jennings was clearly in bounds the whole way. At the end of the day we lost this game fair and square. And I honestly think we have been jobbed far worse in the past in far closer games than we were in this one so I'm really surprised by all of the backlash this one has brought on. -
Bills Offensive Line ranked #9 so far this year by PFF
Talley56 replied to Big C's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder if last week was taken into consideration. Because they didn't look that good against the Giants. Otherwise, it's been solid. -
Yeah, I recall watching the replay right afterwards and it definitely did not look like his foot landed out of bounds. Even it if did, what's done is done and what's called is called. Going back to our famous comeback game no one can deny Beebe stepping out before catching the TD pass that sparked our run.

Titans trolling the Bills? Team tweeting about MCM.
Talley56 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, not that it matters because the call can never be changed anyway, but as much as some of our fellow Bills brethren want to pretend it wasn't, by the letter of the law, it was a legal backwards lateral. -
We crushed Indy, Titans lost to them. I think we are better. Bills 24 Titans 14
