17 facts to know about Bills 2015 regular season matchups
Talley56 replied to pbanach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm seeing two errors in the Tennessee part: "The Bills may get an early look at Marcus Mariota, who would be the first in a long line of quarterbacks Buffalo will face this season who were selected as one of the top two picks in their NFL Draft Classes." Unless the Colts decide to start Hasselbeck and the Giants start Nassib against us for some reason Mariota would be the third top 2 pick we face. "Additionally, Buffalo has lost FIVE games in a row to Tennessee and hasn’t beaten them in the volunteer state since 1994, which includes the Music City forward lateral" When we won that road game in 1994 they were still the Houston Oilers. We've actually never beaten them in Tennessee. Also, small mistake with Dallas: "It’s been over two decades, 21 years to be exact since the Bills have beaten the Cowboys." We last beat them in 1996 so technically 19 years. Man I have too much time on my hands to know all of this. -

So has anyone seen this since it came out? I just did and I liked it. It had it's cheesy moments but all in all I found it entertaining. Though nothing will compare to the original in 1993.

2015-16 Buffalo Bills Negative Thread

Finally thought of one, the Bills are going to do so well this year that us fans will get harassed by fans of other teams every where we go. -
2015-16 Buffalo Bills Positive Thread
Talley56 replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We haven't lost a game yet this season But seriously, new pieces, all around new staff from coach to owner that seems to be more determined to making us winners and contenders. And of course a defense that should be one of the best in the league again (potentially the best). -
When you have cable all you can watch is the same team every week When all you can watch is the same team every week you get bored When you get bored you try to become a football star yourself When you try to become a football star yourself you try out for the Bills When you try out for the Bills you make the team and become a starter When you become a starter you disappoint When you disappoint you get made fun on on twobillsdrive.com Don't get made fun of on twobillsdrive.com. Get rid of cable and upgrade to DirecTV.

If you live in MD you can let your kids play outside
Talley56 replied to Beerball's topic in Off the Wall Archives
As someone who lives in MD it gets very annoying when I'm trying to pull into my street and some kid stops in my way and just looks at me like "what?" instead of moving. And of course no parent is to be found. -
Trentative (although I don't remember if this was ever a topic or just a shot at TE).

Love Bon Jovi's songs. His pursuit of the Bills and alleged plan to move them didn't change that. But I must admit I now cringe a little bit when the songs come on.

Atmosphere For Home Opener And Season Alike...
Talley56 replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
While I'm excited, I can't say I'm more excited than in years past. I always get myself excited for the season and the possibility of doing well because if I didn't then what would be the point of watching? I feel like we've always been given reasons to be excited (2012: Mario Williams, 2013: Drafted a QB in the first round, 2014: Sammy Watkins). Not saying this year won't be different, but I can say I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't. It is pretty incredible how kids who are or will soon be in HS weren't even born the last time the Bills were in the playoffs. All they've known all their lives is Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, New England, etc. Now we're down to 94 days, 20 hours, and 39 minutes. I'm pumped. -
Cities in jeopardy of losing their teams
Talley56 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As someone who's grown up in Maryland and has always heard the stories of the Mayflower trucks leaving Baltimore with the Colts it's hard for me to feel sorry for any fanbase that at least gets a fair warning when their team leaves (I know, Baltimore took a team from another city but at least that city got to say goodbye to their team and they got a new team 3 years later so the two situations really aren't comparable). That's not to say I would have been okay with the Bills leaving Buffalo. But I think St Louis, Oakland, and San Diego are better fan bases than Jacksonville. If any team should move it should be the Jags. -
Couldn't agree more. If Rex is the coach his backers are saying he is and if Roman is really that great of an offensive coordinator (this one I'm not as confident in as everyone else seems to be) then I really see no reason we shouldn't at least make the playoffs even with our QB situation.

Help me with my New Years resolution
Talley56 replied to Captain Hindsight's topic in Off the Wall Archives
You may have already started doing this but giving up on overly processed foods. When you are in the grocery store, read the ingredients on the items you want to buy. If there's a long list, particularly with stuff you can't pronounce, then you probably shouldn't buy it. -
http://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2015/05/betting_lines_for_the_buffalo_bills_2015_regular_season_games.html You probably saw this on the front page of TBD and I think it was briefly discussed in another thread but wanted to get everyone's thoughts. If Brady's suspension holds I think we should be favored to beat them at home in week 2 and I'm kind of surprised we are favored to beat Dallas. I also kind of think the Philly game should be -3 or a push as -3.5 on the road makes them a .5 favorite. Otherwise, looks pretty accurate to me. Week 1: Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo Bills (+1.5) Week 2: New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills (+1) Week 3: Buffalo Bills (+2) at Miami Dolphins Week 4: New York Giants at Buffalo Bills (-2) Week 5: Buffalo Bills (-3) at Tennessee Titans Week 6: Cincinnati Bengals at Buffalo Bills (-1) Week 7: Buffalo Bills (-6) vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Week 8: Bye Week 9: Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills (-2) Week 10: Buffalo Bills (-1) at New York Jets Week 11: Buffalo Bills (+5.5) at New England Patriots Week 12: Buffalo Bills (+2.5) at Kansas City Chiefs Week 13: Houston Texans at Buffalo Bills (-3) Week 14: Buffalo Bills (+3.5) at Philadelphia Eagles Week 15: Buffalo Bills (-1) at Washington Week 16: Dallas Cowboys at Buffalo Bills (-1)

Your favorite thing about going to Bills games
Talley56 replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, unfortunately, some of my favorite things are going to a stadium in a suburb as opposed to a city and parking in someone's back yard but all of this is going away very soon when they build the downtown stadium. -

It's better going to games now because...
Talley56 replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Makes you wonder though, if/when the Bills become good again, will this type of experience and fan behavior return? -
If we are going to beat Brady then yes, I would want him to play. But I'd rather win, even if it is against JG as opposed to Brady and that makes the difference. Hey, as I said in another thread, injuries, suspensions, etc. they happen. It's all as much a part of the game as making plays. Wouldn't diminish the win as far as I'm concerned. As a side note, we didn't have our future HOF starting QB in when we made the greatest comeback in NFL history.

Not sure that is a definite. I'd like to see how each WR group does with the other's QB situation. -
Upcoming 30 for 30 on Bills Super Bowl run in 90s
Talley56 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To each their own, I respect your opinion. I still think having to go through Marino in our division and Elway in the conference as well as Marty Schottenheimer coached KC made it pretty tough (though maybe not the same as having to go through the Steelers and Raiders of the 70s). I think the AFC as a whole was tougher than the NFC. It's just the lone best team was always in the NFC. As far as the home-field advantage keep in mind we had to go through 8 road games every year to earn that advantage.
