  1. Can't wait, hoping it will take at least some of the sting out of last Sunday.
  2. So easy to get swept up in Brady-mania after he had a great season and played great in the Super Bowl. Seems like a lot of people have been doing this. And I'm not taking anything away from him, he was great all year culminating in another championship. I still can't ignore what I believe to be the bigger factor in determining who's better between him and Peyton: 2008 - New England without Brady: 11-5 2011 - Indy without Peyton: 2-14 and I'll even go a step further and remind everyone that in 2009 (only 2 years earlier with virtually the same roster, coaches, etc.) Peyton took them to a near perfect season and a trip to the Super Bowl. Peyton in his career is the all-time best IMO.
  3. Keep this in mind, in 2005, after their last Super Bowl win, New England played home games against: Indianapolis (Colts were really good plus Manning vs Brady, rivalry) NY Jets (playoff team in 2004 who nearly went to the AFC championship game) San Diego (won the AFC West) All good teams from the year before who would have produced high ratings. Yet who did they play on opening night? The Oakland Raiders. Anything is possible.
  4. Agree that PIT stands a better chance. Disagree that PHI does.
  5. Actually, we've opened the season against NE 3 times in the last 9 years and played them right down to the wire with defenses that were no where near as good as our current D: 2006: Pats 19 Bills 17 in Foxborough 2009: Pats 25 Bills 24 also in Foxborough 2013: Pats 23 Bills 21 we actually did have a good defense this year
  6. Hate to say it but IMO the Seahawks haven't really looked that great lately. Struggled to beat the Panthers (who wouldn't have even been a playoff team if they were in any other division) then were basically handed a game by the Packers. Meanwhile, aside from struggling in the first half against the Ravens, the Pats have looked unstoppable since the loss to KC. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm thinking: Pats 27 Seahawks 13
  7. The only thing that bothers me about this is if Brady was entering the game with a known injury and a Seahawk mentioned something about going after that injury that player would probably be fined. This will most likely result in no punishment.
  8. Foles >>> Bradford At least I will say IMHO But I also believe that neither would stand much of a chance if we don't improve the O-line.
  9. Dear Robert Kraft, Despite the fact that there are people who've spent years in prison for crimes they did not commit we understand your situation is much worse. You guys got your poor little feelings hurt. For that, we all apologize Sincerely, NFL
  10. Thank you, I don't really understand the knocks on Chandler. I get that he's not Antonio Gates or Tony Gonzalez but he's a consistently solid target.
  11. I feel quite the opposite, don't understand how people are picking Peters of Marshawn. I thought Peters was overrated and he clearly did not want to play here.
  12. Or, maybe even the Super Bowl if they can make decisions quickly in the next week or so.
  13. If I were Tampa I'd demand a number of first round draft picks and a key player or two. I'd tell Philly if they don't do it, we're taking Mariota in case they try to trade up with Tennessee or someone else. Draft picks are just too hit or miss to not include proven players.
  14. I think it's fine as is. I can understand to some extent saying that if a team gives up a FG they should have a shot on offense but giving up a TD then getting a chance? Sorry, that's on the defense for losing it. And, while I know this wouldn't apply for every OT situation, GB had a number of chances to put Seattle away in regulation yesterday and didn't. No one to blame but themselves for that one.
  15. Is he looking to become a HC? Seemed like he was content being our DC at least for now and was run out by a new HC and his own staff.
  16. Not looking forward to it but, as someone who doesn't mind the Seahawks as much as others, I'll be satisfied afterwards if they win.
  17. Who I think will win: Hawks and Pats Who I want to win: Hawks and Colts
  18. I know, but I still think the start of his ownership is yet to be determined. If this coaching move works out then yes, I would say it was a great start.
  19. "Hey, Best Buy, the TV in here sucks. Can you deliver a 64 inch LED by tomorrow with surround sound?"
  20. Agreed, a new beginning for the team. And who knows, maybe it will be like Belichick, a defensive mind who failed at his first HC job only to have a perennial winner in his next one.
  21. I think it is yet to be determined. A lot rides on the success/failure of Ryan as HC as this is his first big move as an owner. If it doesn't work out then as far as I'm concerned the beginning of his ownership will be remembered as having a great defense with a great D coordinator who had to go elsewhere because we decided to bring in a guy who was unproven as a HC and wanted to run the D. But I will say I like that the Pegulas really seem to at least have a passion and desire to want to build a winner out of the Bills.
  22. I think all of us Bills fans have earned the right to be skeptical until we start seeing wins and production. It's all talk unless we make the playoffs and start becoming a contending team as far as I'm concerned.
  23. While I can to some extent see why there are some who are glad we hired Rex I can't say I understand the excitement over Roman.
  24. "Who needs to buy a house? I'm the coach, I'll just live in here"
