  1. Duke b-ball but none of their championships were nearly as big as if the Bills ever win the SB or the O's win a WS.
  2. Bills 38 Redskins 37, McCoy brings 2 helmets just in case. But seriously, Bills 20 Redskins 13
  3. Only looked at ESPN and while I thought maybe a few more people would pick us that's very close to the pick distribution I was expecting. We may be a little better but it's the Redskins' last home game and they may be a little bit more motivated as they have a much better shot at getting into the playoffs.
  4. Fitz > Bradford. Yeap, I said it, and I stand by it 100%.
  5. While I don't think it was smart for Pettine to say this, I'm one of the few that agrees with him. Wilson's a solid QB who benefits from a great defense, great running game, and good O-line. But top tier, as in Brady, Rodgers, Manning (in his prime)? I would agree that Wilson is not in that category. At least not yet.
  6. Definitely not the Patriots. No explanation needed. No Steelers, while I don't mind them, we don't need to see them win #7 when some of us don't even have #1 yet No one from The NFC East or AFC South. Would completely cheapen the sport if some team can just suck all season only to get into the playoffs because they are in a crappy division then go on a 4-game fluke run to win a championship. Other than that, I'm okay with anyone else. Even the Jets.
  7. I'm all for Rex staying IF someone gets on him about becoming more disciplined on his players and less of a "friend" or "likeable guy". If he can change that, I really think it can work. If he doesn't, I don't care how much our defense may improve with continuity and more familiarity with Rex's schemes, we will continue to lose games next year due to stupid penalties, guaranteed.
  8. Two main things I never knew before watching this: 1. Buffalo fans chanting for Scott Norwood at the rally after the Superbowl loss and cheering for him when he gave his speech. Class act and glad to hear one of the dads talking about bringing his kid to teach him forgiveness. 2. Harry Connick, Jr.'s band member moved Thurman Thomas' helmet and that's why he couldn't find it.
  9. I might also point to the 49ers although they are an example of making the playoffs despite having a bad QB. Obviously, Colin Kaepernick is terrible as we've seen this year. Yet, not only were they in the playoffs every year Harbaugh was there but they were Superbowl contenders almost every year. Came within 3 points of winning it all one year.
  10. Sanchez always seemed to play well against us. Good thing Bradford is healthy: Bills 20 Eagles 17
  11. Wearing a LeSean McCoy jersey?
  12. I must have completely missed this thread. Didn't even know about this episode until this week. Looking forward to it.
  13. Houston, Indy, Jets don't worry me. Indy or Houston has to win the division and we have a tie-breaker over whoever doesn't. We still play the Jets and if we don't beat them ourselves it won't matter who else they beat/lose to. It's all about the Steelers right now. Win out and root against them the rest of the year. That's all I'm concerned about.
  14. #5 Play the Bills in late November when they start really playing for a playoff spot.
  15. I don't think I ever heard an STP song I didn't like. One of my favorite bands throughout the 90s. RIP
  16. The problem is I feel like we've had a number of years like this. Losing close games to good teams, bad calls going against us. Gailey had us in a lot of close games with the Patriots. Even under Marrone during both of his years we were a few close losses from the playoffs. Not saying I disagree, I just don't think he's done much yet to separate himself from the rest of our coaches in recent memory (except for doing a lot of talking leaing up to a game).
  17. Has anything been said about Jeremy Maclin's catch that should have been a non-catch?
  18. Agree with everything you said except for this. Hogan made the catches and even took the hit (not his fault a catch was taken away off a bad call). it was Woods who couldn't make a simple catch when we needed him to. I'm glad I'm not the only on who thinks this.
  19. We clearly dropped it? I don't care, challenge it. Oh, so this time it actually was a catch? Well let's not challenge this one.
  20. Yeap, I recall on our first offensive play they played only 10 men on defense to honor Taylor. RIP
  21. Who would have thought hiring Marrone back in 2013 would not be as bad as hiring Kelly. At least Marrone didn't trade away all of our best players for "his own guys".
  22. Not defending Cassel, but Romo wasn't looking any better in today's game before he got hurt.
  23. It looked more like this was due to a poor throw by Tyrod not a bad jump by Hogan. But I do agree that not fighting for the extra yard when he came up short of the 1st down was pretty terrible on his part.
