  1. 2 thoughts about the pick six, in a particular order: 1) I agree with Virgil, was hoping TJ would just take a knee to give us the ball at the 20 instead of taking a chance on being backed up against the goal line. 2) Am I the only one that thinks the return was at least 102 yards, which would have given TJ the record outright instead sharing it?
  2. Yes Haven't seen Arthur 2 mentioned (add to the awful list.) But no one should be surprised that most of these sequels flopped. With the exception of Godfather the originals were not great pieces of art, most developed cult followings that somehow morphed in to mainstream. So the producers figure what the hell, with the original being a pleasant success, with minimal effort we put a sequel out and we'll make money regardless of how bad they are. Who in the over 60 crowd wouldn't even now pay to to see an Animal House reunion movie? But like most of these, it would suck.
  3. Better to resemble Norwood than the other Georgia kicker, Blankenship, who resembles Ernie from My Three Sons (google it if you're under 60)
  4. Already know how I would react to a super bowl loss...might say that's been done to death. Question should be how I would react to the Bills winning the super bowl.
  5. Bills vs WFT in the Super Bowl. Bills win in a blowout. Super bowl XXVI avenged (posted this on another thread if it looks familiar.)
  6. I'll get back to you in 12 years or so with an answer...na, I'll answer now...HELL NO!
  7. Yes I'm aware. Was going to add revenge to Super Bowl XVI, will edit as soon as this is submitted. WFT has a great D that I think will cause nightmares for Brady and Rodgers, but Josh will be a problem for them. Smith will be the quarterback that suffers nightmares in the Super Bowl. As to Super Bowl XLII, FWIW, it wasn't as big an upset as people think. What most forget is that the last week of the regular season, with history on the line for New England and a meaningless game for New York, the score was 38-35.
  8. Which he will. WFT will go on to win the following two weeks, only to suffer a blowout loss to the Bills in the Super Bowl, Super Bowl XVI is avenged. But that's just a prediction, I really don't care who we beat in the Super Bowl.
  9. Prepare 2 speeches: "It was a great season, let's build from here" for the team, "Today notwithstanding, there were a lot of positives this year" for the press.
  10. With the Georgia runoff today, shouldn't this talk about hanging Chad be on PP&P?
  11. Shouldn't this thread be moved to PP&P since it has to do with that whole freedom of the press thing?🤣
  12. Northern border of the United States of America, Northwest border of the town of Irondequoit. Next door neighbors are the Coast Guard, Silk O'loughlin's, and the Summerville Grille.
  13. Hard not to get ahead of ourselves when even stock analysts use him for comparisons "...he is expecting another "Josh Allen-like performance" from..." https://finance.yahoo.com/m/4d54342b-a0aa-3947-93d7-4182b92941b9/microsoft-likely-to-beat-wall.html
  14. Get used to it. One thing stinking all century has done is to give us a routine Sunday. At least one year we had all 1:00 games except the Thursday nighter. Home games - leave the house at 7:00 AM, fire up the grill at 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM, clean up at 6:00 PM, head back to Rochester at 6:30. Rinse/repeat. Away games - gym at 9:30, shower, bar by 12:45. Rinse/repeat. Those days are done for a while. Winning teams play in prime time. It's the price we pay.
  15. Now this is weird. My niece lives in Knoxville. You're telling me she's having a white Christmas but I'm dealing with a flooded basement (not too bad, nothing a few fans won't dry up.)
  16. Only rained in Rochester. Bah Humbug.
  17. Below is wild card procedure for first wild card team when 3 or more clubs are tied. Since procedure is repeated to determine the second wild team once first is determined, it probably is repeated again to determine wild card team #3 once 1&2 have been determined. From: https://www.nfl.com/standings/tie-breaking-procedures "Three or More Clubs (Note: If two clubs remain tied after third or other clubs are eliminated, tie breaker reverts to step 1 of applicable two-club format.) Apply division tie breaker to eliminate all but the highest ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. The original seeding within a division upon application of the division tie breaker remains the same for all subsequent applications of the procedure that are necessary to identify the two Wild-Card participants. Head-to-head sweep. (Applicable only if one club has defeated each of the others or if one club has lost to each of the others.) Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four. Strength of victory. Strength of schedule. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. Best net points in conference games. Best net points in all games. Best net touchdowns in all games. Coin toss When the first Wild-Card team has been identified, the procedure is repeated to name the second Wild-Card, i.e., eliminate all but the highest-ranked club in each division prior to proceeding to step 2. In situations where three or more teams from the same division are involved in the procedure, the original seeding of the teams remains the same for subsequent applications of the tie breaker if the top-ranked team in that division qualifies for a Wild-Card berth."
  18. Actually some really good points in this thread about qb development, particularly Allen v Darnold. Great to see our staff being the envy of other fan bases rather than the laughing stock of them. They must have had a field day when we hired Rex.
  19. Just noticed this for the first time. If you still have, my brother will geek out on this stuff. Sent an email with his address, just reply back and let me know how you want me to get you the postage. Thanks Man!
  20. My solution is a little different. Both one and two pointer are attempted from the 5 yard line. No holder allowed if attempting 1 point, has to be a drop kick. Tough to get it over the upright on a drop kick. We'll bring back Flutie to keep the defense guessing (for those who don't know, Flutie is the last one to successfully make a drop kick.)
  21. USB could have contained a video of a closed practice of the Falcons next opponent that the guy with his back to the camera was going to take to Morris. Since we didn't see what was on it we don't know what was on it. But given the location of the incident and you just have to make some assumptions about the contents.
  22. Last nite he made a comment about Mahomes being the best in the league at hard counts after he had gotten Denver to jump using one. Al Michaels quickly chimed in that Aaron Rodgers was on the phone and (not sure of the exact wording) wants to have a word with you. Collinsworth said that a lot of people want to have a word with me (again not sure of the exact wording.) You could hear the exasperation in his voice.
