  1. Have a tissue or two close by before watching
  2. While the injury certainly sucks, he'll still get paid and make enough this year (15.8M) to last him for life. I'll save my sympathy.
  3. https://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/steve-johnson-buffalo-bills-wideout-blames-god-twitter-dropping-game-winning-pass-article-1.456341 "I PRAISE YOU 24/7!!!!!!" the 24-year-old tweeted from his iPad at around 5:15 Sunday after the Steelers' 19-16 overtime victory. "AND THIS HOW YOU DO ME!!!!! YOU EXPECT ME TO LEARN FROM THIS??? HOW???!!! ILL NEVER FORGET THIS!! EVER!!! THX THO..." God's response: "I gave you a beautiful sunny day in Buffalo in late November, tripped the corner, and put a perfect spiral in your hands. AND THIS IS HOW YOU DO ME!!!"
  4. Not sure about the Bulls line, but it's probably safe to say no one on the Kent State defensive front is getting drafted But yeah I was thinking even walking quickly with a cane (back went out last week, getting better thank you) I could have gained some yards with those holes.
  5. Don't know what's more amazing, 409 yards/8 TDs or the Las Vegas over/under at 111.
  6. Guessing you don't spend much time in PPP.
  7. Actually Sunday afternoon, 1:15 according everything I've seen Happy Thanksgiving everyone
  8. While there have been many snow games, this one and the Colts game from 2017 were the two that came to mind when I saw the topic. This one was the social event of the Christmas season back in 02.
  9. FWIW the play before the hail mary to Hooks was a bomb to Hooks that set up the hail Mary. The catch on preceeding play was one of the greatest catches in Bills history, I've mentioned it on several occasions. Oh yeah, I was still in the stands , not the parking lot.
  10. The linebacking unit for the 60's AFL championship teams was Harry Jacobs, John Tracey, and Mike Stratton. They played a record 62 straight games together from 63-67. With free agency and concussion protocol I don't see that record ever being broken. Hey, it's the bye week, need useless trivia to fill in the gap! (In case a source is needed for this piece of useless trivia, it came from Harry Jacobs' Wikipedia page located here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Jacobs_(American_football))
  11. Before I hit 60 this was me. Now I'll add wine so night is beer or win (occasionally beer and wine but those nights never turn out well!) You lost me at banana!
  12. re the different look - probably why they've been playing this John Prine song during breaks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L21Tc_DtL6M re your picks - both look good after the first round
  13. Strangely, your logic makes sense! Eff 2020, hate to wish my life away but it can't end soon enough.
  14. To paraphrase the late great Sammy Baugh, we'd have lost 3 in a row. (For those that get the reference, after the 1940 NFL Championship Game, won by Chicago 73-0, a sportswriter asked Baugh if the game would have been different had a receiver not dropped a game tying pass on Washington's first drive. His response was sure, we would have lost 73-7)
  15. Thanks...by the way we think it's fun to win cash prizes and brag when we do
  16. Will definitely be watching. Thankfully the Bills have the late afternoon game Sunday, unless there's a playoff the Masters will be over before kickoff. My pool picks are DeChambeau, DJ, Oosthuizen, Rahm, and Wolff. Best 4 scores win the pool, if 2 of your picks miss cut you're out. Pool is for fun, Bragging rights only.
  17. HIs catch on the play before the td catch was even better
  18. Saw him twice, once in Austin, once in Rochester. RIP.
  19. This should be a red flag phrase that that automatically locks the thread.
  20. Re Graham - a few years ago I saw something on ESPN where Seattle was talking about the Wilson pick. The guy was describing how in the Seattle war room their heads were hanging low when Buffalo traded up because it was known that they liked Wilson. Then there was jubilation with the Graham pick because they felt if Wilson went past that pick he would fall to Seattle. Hated reliving that one. Re Troupe - Funny (funny ironic not funny haha) how teams shied away from Gronk because of a college back injury and Troupe's career never took off because of his back.
  21. Sadly, I thought the same thing.
  22. Yeah the finale and pretty much all of season 8 was a huge disappointment. Might even say the last couple or three seasons were weak. But it did set up for bringing it back at a later date. Quite a few. I can't seem to get the hang of the search function but there was a thread dedicated to Dexter back in the day.
