  1. Didn't get to see any run blocking from the starters, though.
  2. For the first time in years, I feel like there are probably 53 guys on the team who don't suck.
  3. The new team looks so different. They look... competent.
  4. The house itself is asinine, but the little guest house actually looks pretty cool. I bet they just hang out in the kitchen like everybody else, and never use 95% of the place.
  5. If Barkley gets hurt, my guess is they go with Josh Allen at QB.
  6. I wouldn't say I associate McGahee with any team in particular. This is the kind of thing usually reserved for beloved players who had long, storied careers with one team, then spent their twilight years elsewhere. It also tends to happen in a timely manner, not 5-6 years after you have played. Does anyone in the Baltimore FO even have a history with Willis? Whatever, happy trails. Wish I could have retired in my 30's with millions in the bank.
  7. And here we go.
  8. He had a couple of catastrophe games, but it's such a small sample size, for such an inexperienced QB, in such a dreadful offense. I really don't think it's fair to conclude that he sucks forever. People love to hate.
  9. Don't laugh too hard - No matter how bad the Fins might play, at some point before the year is out, Wilkins is going to drop a 315-pound bomb on Josh Allen. I hope it ends well.
  10. Does anyone know where the phrase "Play-action" came from? It has never made any sense to me. It's even stupider than "Power Play" in hockey.
  11. Sounds like a cap move, where the guy is getting paid too much for a big man with a potential foot problem. They were kind enough to give him time to sign elsewhere for a more rational salary. I don't think the Bills need to chase after this, but lately McBeane seems to have a thing for good players with injury histories.
  12. Sounds like a win for everyone. Kurt Coleman looks like a very solid pickup, and Bush gets to retire comfortably (I hope) at 32. Can you imagine retiring at 30-freaking-two, with millions in the bank?
  13. My favorite Fred move ever was against the Giants in 2011, when he was breaking away on an 80 yard TD, and the DB was just about to catch him as both ran full-speed toward the end zone. Out of nowhere and maintaining full forward speed, Fred makes a little shift to the left at a low angle, which is enough to send the DB off into no-man's land while Fred scores an easy TD. Magical old-man powers right there. There's no name for it that I know of, but Fred had that sudden open-field change of direction at full gallop that made it so hard to close on him.
  14. The Super Bowl is a pretty big game, so I’m told, and Tomlin has won twice.
  15. Odds are they will be better than that, but as of right now the offense still sucks until they prove otherwise.
  16. At the time, he was the fastest white guy anyone had ever seen. I think that’s part of the legend, too.
  17. That's crazy - such a long day, yet they are only physically active for two hours.
  18. If Tom Brady didn't show up until opening day, it still wouldn't matter.
  19. Maybe because it's not true? Is there any real data to support that theory, or does everyone just assume that a scheme with 4 down lineman instead of 3 makes it easier for a DE to get sacks? I mean, it sounds logical, but is it actually true, and what's the proof?
  20. I've never heard anyone outside the Bills fan universe say that Bruce was better. Reggie just mauled people. He was a scary dude.
  21. I love how we all know our Super Bowl beatdowns by heart. I have a vintage beer coozy with that XXV logo on it.
  22. Wade Phillips for benching Flutie.
