I agree. I was at the game (dismal day). While the crowd was dwindling, the PA announcer relished updating every Raven score...."Ravens xxx, Buffalo NOTHING". That "NOTHING" got more intense and got big cheers every time he said it. Many starters were still in well into the 2nd half

I think the dismal performance of the last two games cost us Mack. Beane realized that he can't trade away an armada of pics, the first of which may be a top-5, for one player when he has so many needs

I think after the way they've played the last two weeks it crystalized to Beane that our first rounder next year might be a top 5 pick

Talk about a divided poll... the only consensus is on Croom not getting cut. Any of the others seem to be at risk.

It would certainly make for some interesting strategy on the part of coaches. I'm not sure it would work ultimately. There's never been a sport where a great player is intentionally sat in that way that I can think of.... I"m not sure

The Bills got a personal foul penalty on a Mayfield run down around their 5 yard line. Mayfield didn't slide and 3 Bills converged around him bringing him down. No leading with the helmet. Did anyone else raise and eyebrow on whether that warranted a flag? Once QBs scramble they're no different than RBs. I can't imagine that would be considered a late hit call if the runner was RB or WR.

A great many of them do, starting with Colin Kaepernick... oh and BTW, so does Marshawn Lynch. There's a spectrum of behavior across the NFL just like any other segment of society. The problem is trying to paint them with one brush and thinking that they're all a bunch of self-consumed prima donnas. Many of them give their time, efforts and money heavily back into the neighborhoods they grew up in and the cities they play in.

This is ridiculous. It seems to me that the easy solution to this problem would be for the league, which has a majority of black players, should recognize that there's a problem here. In exchange for an agreement not to kneel during the anthem, players would be granted two 30s commercial spots per game to tell their story about just policing. The NFL would pay for the spots. They give up 2 beer commercials. Each team can elect 2 spokesmen to cut the commercials with. The first spot plays before kickoff featuring the home team's spokes person. The 2nd spot before the halftime kickoff featuring the away team's spokesperson. The players get to tell their story, the league empathizes with a social issue that's important to their players and many fans and all anthem related controversy is diffused. Why is this so hard?? I've been at Bills backers bars in multiple cities and NOBODY focuses on the anthem. The outrage on this issue is absolute BS. In one bar, they actually muted the anthem while it was playing and put on the Bills Shout song. So this is a fake controversy through and through.
