  1. Oops... corrected that one. Plus Anthony Lynn wasn't so maligned!
  2. Doug Marrone w/ Jacksonville Jaguars Mike Mularkey w/ Tennessee Titans Wade Phillips DC w/ LA Rams Jerry Gray DB coach w/ Minnesota Vikings Perry Fewell DB coach w/ Jacksonville Jaguars wow!
  3. Was going back and forth w/ my Son today about Jags.... told him it would be bad for them to go into game w/ 2 game losing streak
  4. That would be too much... haha. That would be the next domino... Kyle Williams scores game winning TD, Bengals get miracle 4th down TD, Freddie steps in for Shady and they beat Marrone.... the Pats would have to go down after that, right?
  5. I hate to be a conspiracy theorist and there's lots of reasons the Bills lost yesterday. But it just defies explanation on how the Patriots can always benefit from the most controversial of plays and never get bit by one. There are other isolated examples of bad officiating in other games, but how can this work to the Pats advantage repeatedly? This goes all the way back to the "tuck rule fumble" that started it all. I just can't come up with a reasonable explanation to it. The 4th down spot challenge was another example from yesterday.... with that said, I wasn't expecting the Bills could win and there were lots of other reasons they lost. However, football is such a game of momentum. Both the KB reversal and the 4th down challenge were total momentum killers.
  6. Shady should stay... he's as good as any back in the league yet.
  7. Realistically, I think Peterman stays in the concussion protocol most of the week, which will prevent a rookie from being able to adequately prepare for a game like this. Just a question, when in concussion protocol players can't do anything, right?? They can't participate in meetings or anything??
  8. Uh, I wish we had a COACH that knew how to get him the ball! We're the only team that can't ever put the fastest guys (Goodwin, Parrish,..) into space for big-time YAC. Seattle does it all day long w/ Baldwin, Colts w/ TY Hilton and don't even mention the Patriots.
  9. I was tweeting exactly that during the game. There was no return game on, fair catches could only be muffed and the ball basically stuck wherever it dropped without a roll. Other than accounting for outside gunners I would have rushed everyone else and put nobody back to receive...#NeededSTInnovation
  10. I think the word you're searching for is "peaking", but I don't think I agree that we're doing that at this time... -- 100% healthy? Lets see if KB plays against PATs, we would need our big trade deadline, "chips on the table" acquistion -- our QB still considered a week-to-week starter -- lets let our run D play two good games in a row after that 3-game debacle before declaring that issue fixed
  11. I absolutely HATE the idea of trading up for a QB. No problem taking one in the first round when you pick, but trading up is asking for trouble. QBs are a crapshoot even if you're picking in the top 5, giving away multiple picks to roll the dice is a bad move.
  12. I noticed him a couple times and the first thing that caught my attention was how big he was. Its really noticeable
  13. You mean vs. running it back 63 yards??
  14. Take a look at Jaguars' remaining schedule... http://www.jaguars.com/gameday/schedule.html
  15. More mature? The problem is we have one of the older teams in the league....so hoping they can get to maturity by next week! As far as Zay goes, he looks like he's emerging. The other guy who's playing much better the last two weeks is Adolfus Washington!
  16. I love reading the posts in these threads just before they got blown up!
  17. Looks like Beane was listening to OP today and is down with this approach!
  18. I do like that idea! We need a WR...
  19. Good thread! I can't stand Hochuli and his crew. They always seem to want over-officiate the game for attention
  20. I wish they had picked a better location to try... bummer!
  21. ...and Jonathan Williams, but I digress...
  22. Is it just me or did the hit on Clay look like a deliberate helmet to the knee. Also, 1-2 plays later, on a pass to, I believe, O'Leary it looked like there was another attempt to take the helmet to knee. Both plays seemed suspiciously deliberate... just me??
  23. Man, does that ever hit the nail on the head....add on top of that losing just before the BYE week and today is a very dangerous game
