I'd wouldn't mind having kept Sammy Watkins on this team right about now....they would be a top 5 team if TT was still throwing to him.

I"m not sure I would say Tolbert over JWillams, but certainly JW should have been kept over Banyard. While I love most everything, I'm still flummoxed by this move and would be thrilled if they grabbed him back off of Broncos PS over Banyard.

Exactly! He took some heat last week against Panthers about not calling TO earlier near the end of the game. However, if Jones makes that catch, they still had a TO w/ 14 sec to go with 1st and goal from the 3 yard line. That's 2-3 realistic shots into the end zone. If they used that TO earlier, then the clock could have run out while they scrambled to spike the ball... or even more Rex-like, they get a false start penalty on the attempted spike and have a 10sec run-off to end the game.

Ah,... don't like to hear that at all! I think if they had put in Carytown or at Short Pump they could do much, much better. They really missed on the changing demographic of the American Shopping Mall, which is dying rapidly. I hope they don't pull out. In the meantime... every Game Day!!

I don't understand how he mis-managed clock at the end of half? Denver scores FG with 0:42 left. They run a five play 38yd drive in 0:38 to kick a FG w/ 0:01 left on the clock. Might have won a few more games if Rex, Gailey, Williams, Jauron, Marrone or Mularkey could have done that a few times.... man, I can't believe there's been six of these guys... deep exhale!

I don't think they picked the best location for it. I would have put it somewhere else... but I'll keep supporting them!

For those of you in #RVA, you realize there's an Anchor Bar now at Stony Point. This is one of only three Anchor Bars outside of WNY, So Ontario area. The Bills are on multiple large screen TVs and they pipe the sound to the game! No more competing for space in front of the right small TV, while listening to the call on the Redskins or Steelers games for you! There's no reason to go to Buffalo Wild Wings an hour+ before kick-off!

Just three games in, but what do you think about McDermott's performance on game day? A big component of several key losses over the years, across multiple head coaches has been the inability to perform on game day; clock management, good use of challenges, use of time outs, ability to make adjustments on offense and defense... I think so far he's looking good in all those areas. 1) they've had TOs left as needed at the end of half/games, ex if Zay Jones catches the pass at the end of the game last week, they still had a TO to stop the clock 2) good challenge on the catch that was aided by the ground yesterday 3) great clock management on very efficient drive for FG as half expired yesterday 4) good 2nd half offensive adjustments to give TT more time to throw Do we finally have a coach that isn't a boat anchor on Sundays?

I like the overall analysis and appreciate the effort, however, I have to agree your point. I also think the GIF reinforces it. Though the throw is a touch behind, that's a catch any athletic NFL receiver should make

I have no idea if the Colts would trade Hilton, but he would be great to get under current contract. Run sets up the pass. In the first half of Jets game we saw that work beautifully. As the running game worked, play action became deadly to Clay/Jones/Matthews, all 20+yd pass plays. Hilton would fit w/ Tyrod beautifully. Hilton + Gaines + Matthews + 3rd for Sammy + Darby... I think most us would be happy about that deal!

I'm not sure that drops were one of the criticism's of Goodwin... wasn't it durability and inability to get into space for YAC?

I actually hadn't paid much attention to details surrounding the Pats given all the "undefeated" talk going around in the off-season. I assumed they would be very good. However after seeing so many no-names on that defense last night, I'm perplexed where it came from. I don't think they're that good...

I looked at their D in the 2nd half, particularly after Hightower got hurt. Obviously I know Gilmore and McCourty,... but otherwise my reaction was.... who are these guys??? I didn't recognize a name in their front 7.

Exactly! They could have gotten out of his contract this year. McDermott and Beane analyzed him thoroughly and then decide to keep TT. Why do that just to "set him up to fail". If he's a good QB, then I'd rather build around him than this "moonshot" scenario of trading up for a "top QB" in the draft.

I was perfectly fine with everything and could explain every move in my head up until the Jonathan Williams cut. Unless there's some suspension looming or other other bad behavior that we haven't heard about yet, that one makes no sense. While by no means a superstar yet, he looked like he would slide right in and make us all forget about Gilislee's contribution the last two years to the #1 running attack in the league. If he looked good enough, he could have made Shady expendable next year and be the #1.... and then they just cut him??? It just doesn't make sense in my head? Low salary, young and looking damn good?!?

He's not speaking out about the Bills, the NFL or the country. He's peacefully protesting an injustice in this country. You can love this country and still acknowledge certain injustices. He's not doing anything wrong...
