  1. Ladainian Tomlinson was nicknamed "LT"...
  2. An here's another view from NFL Network thats much more positive. Loves Darby pick, not Miller so much... but really likes O'Leary and Lewis choices late in the draft... grades us a 'B'??
  3. The current regime had little to do with McKelvin and Graham picks. Though, McKelvin has since turned into a pretty good CB, he was the unquestioned starter until he got hurt and led in INTs the year before. They also need to consider whether they'll be able to sign Gilmore to a big contract when he becomes a free agent. Given the off season they just had, the need to re-sign Dareus to a monster contract and the expectation that QB will have to become a big contract at some point. We're probably paying less for QBs than near anyone in the league... certainly anyone who's a playoff team. So finding that next CB is a pretty good idea
  4. On the RWS Wall of Fame.... nobody should have any doubt he'll be there.
  5. Fred Jackson certainly made this team better and is a bona-fide team leader.... and will be on this team as well. I think Fred will help the chemistry of the team. He realizes where he is in his career and I think will bring the full package of his contributions accordingly. On the field as needed and off the field, every day. I don't think he's deluding himself into thinking that he's an every down workhorse anymore. For his part he absolutely made some of the bad teams we've fielded over the years better.... on the Wall of Fame as soon as he's eligible and hopefully an ambassador for the team like Kelly and Thurman are for the rest of his days...
  6. Got to be an 'A'... .I don't know how we can ask for anything more from our GM? He's aggressive and making logical moves at every step. He can't solve the QB issue by sheer force of will, but making every effort to make that work as well. At the end of the season discussion was about how he was on the the "shaky ground" with the new regime, Polian returning and the "power struggle" between him and Marrone. He has kicked the ass of every bit of that narrative. Well done and this is the first time I can think of that I'm thrilled with both of our GMs at the same time. I wouldn't want anyone other than Whaley and Murray! The product on the field has to perform, but that's Rex's job. Whaley's put him in a position to succeed
  7. To me the bigger "Thank God" is that someone didn't pick Glenn before us. When he was still on the board the 2nd round and we were picking 7th, I thought for sure we lose him if we didn't make a move up.... leaving us w/ Martin
  8. I don't get it?? Press conference for Felton, but not for Clay and Harvin?? Makes no sense...
  9. Amen,... if this post becomes accurate, this will be a crazy season!
  10. I'm hoping there are intro press conferences today for Harvin and Clay? Can't wait to listen in....
  11. ....nothing beats that new car smell
  12. The article was utterly lame,... the Dolphins have holes on OL, RB, WR, Secondary and when did Tannehill demonstrate he was a franchise QB? I just don't get this assessment. They folded in each of the last two years in December (a relatively long-standing trend for them). How does that addition of Suh fix all that? The Bills have strengthened themselves everywhere, even at QB realistically as Cassell is at least as good as Orton... this is a team that is built to be able to win w/o a franchise QB if ever there was one. As long as we don't have devastating injuries,... I see a playoff team and even a team that can win in the playoffs.
  13. Exactly,... that's why I'm a NO. Someone will pay Andy Dalton ++ money for someone who's much less than that. I'd rather see what EJ can do with the line-up thats being assembled w/ Clay, Harvin, Shady, suffocating Defense.
  14. If that's the concern why didn't they just re-sign Lee Smith? I'm not sure Charles Clay is being pursued because of blocking skills?!?
  15. Sounds like what we're looking for...
  16. I'm not familiar w/ him, but interesting blurb in this 2nd wave of free agency piece. Doesn't mention the Bills, but.... "Reminiscent of former Cowboys star Jay Novacek, Housler is a freakishly athletic tight end underutilized in Arizona. Bruce Arians asks his tight ends to block first and foremost, which left "move" tight end Housler without a role. He could break out for 50 catches and 700 yards in the right offense, like Atlanta's."
  17. Isn't this just the standard "home town discount". As already mentioned, Hughes would also have gotten more money if held out for highest bidder. There's a value to players to get paid well, but also to be choose where they want to play and are comfortable with... nothing wrong w/ that
  18. ....so you think we should sign an undrafted 6th lineman coming off ACL injury?
  19. Yikes... what a legacy
  20. ....the anti-@Iam_jerryhughes
  21. No doubt he made a great payday on the deal... but beyond that he's been owned and I'll say it here... won't be a HC candidate again! I don't know about that... if you just wanted a temp, why wouldn't you just keep Gailey?
  22. Was literally just thinking that as well.
  23. I think it means he's about to be re-signed! There's no way they would look to be loosing Alonso and Hughes in a single week...
  24. Exactly.... he's a contributor to Mario's sacks as well. They all make it difficult to double-team anyone on that line. Jerry needs to be paid just like another star. If you could just plug any other player in then some of the other DEs on the line would have 5-6 sacks as well... they don't
