  1. I tend to agree.. I can understand losing Spikes, but I would like to see them keep Searcy. I thought he was a real difference maker last year
  2. They're trying to get even for the Jerry Hughes fleecing... Also in trading Dareus lets not overlook that Kyle Williams is getting older. In 2 years he might be on the severe downturn. Resign Dareus, before we're left w/o quality DTs
  3. I'd give Hughes more credit. If you could just plug any of these guys in with the other three then Wynn, Charles, Bryant would all be in the neighborhood of 5-7 sacks as they would be benefiting from the others rather than the 1-3 they have. Hughes has 20 sacks over 2 years because he's damn good... he'll need to be paid.
  4. Was about to post that... +1
  5. Brad Smith returns... wildcat and more
  6. Sure, but free agency and salary caps also make it much more difficult to stay consistently good in today's game. exactly
  7. Come'on.... leading a team to 6 Super Bowls is greater than 4 Super Bowls... even more elementary math
  8. As much as I hate to admit it.... the answer has to be Brady. When I think of the offensive players he's had. Other than Randy Moss for a couple years and Gronk in the last few, he's had zero no HOFers to play with him or even perennial All-Pros. That's just amazing. They never won a SB while having Randy Moss and while Gronk is an incredible TE, he hasn't done it long enough to be a HOFer yet. He's done it with the likes of Julian Edelman, Deon Branch, Kevin Faulk, Troy Brown and not much else. What other QB on the list can you say that about? Every other one of the G.O.A.T. candidates had HOFers at the skill positions.... the other guys had Thurman Thomas, Andre Reed, James Lofton, Jerry Rice, Franco Harris, Lynn Swann, John Mackey, Dwight Clark, Terrell Davis, Marvin Harrison, Edgerrin James... no comparison
  9. Would rather spend the money on Hughes
  10. By sliding a yard short on 3rd down?
  11. I think he's hysterical... I've been laughing about his antics at yesterday's presser for a full day now. Its always more exciting when there's drama and controversy. He's like a throw-back pro wrestling bad guy irritating the audience by design. +++1
  12. Nothing will happen. Its the Super Bowl and the NFL will simply announce they will control the balls being used. They will also make a rule change in the offseason to control the balls in all games. Nothing will happen in relation to the Super Bowl. As much a we want to see the #Deflatriots nailed for this, the balls did not play a role in the outcome of the game. Blount destroyed Indy on the ground and that's just that. Big points for creativity!!!
  13. Add in to that Nigel Bradham.... and if he continues to progress Seantrel Henderson possibly
  14. Coached cricket for the Bangalore Admirals last year...
  15. Same here
  16. While I would love Kaepernick or Eli, but don't see us being able to get either one. Perhaps more realistic thinking would be that we would sign either Hoyer/Sanchez and then either try for Mallet/Locker. In my opinion, EJ needs to be given a fair shot. There could be a three way competition leading up to training camp where the best 2 would fight it out. Unproductive to start training camp with a 3 way competition, unless maybe one is eliminated after the first preseason game, leaving it down to two. Its a tough situation trying to find a QB in this environment.
  17. Oh,... that one's good!
  18. "whaaat me? I wasn't looking at your wife's feet"
  19. Isn't it basically covered by virtue of Doug Whaley leading the search and doing the interviews?
  20. Totally awesome!!!
  21. First choice would be to see if there is some way to make a move for Eli Manning.... probably no longer possible as they declared next year make or break. From the list I would take Hoyer and either Mallet/Locker to compete w/ EJ.... and make sure the EJ got a clear, fair shot
  22. I think we ought to find a way to be aggressive and make a move for Eli Manning... the only guy that MIGHT be available and could lead us into the playoffs+
  23. Good point... I think he gets a fair shot along w/ others
  24. Clearly a bad play,... but Orton was miserable in it and shares some blame on it
