  1. When we are up by 21 points in the 4th quarter, it won't matter.
  2. We have Spector, all the backup we need.
  3. Regardless of how good Singletary and Cook have looked, Moss has also looked good. Reason dictates you keep him. It's a long season and expected deep playoff run, so why trade away a solid contributor for a future pick. Ford was given the opportunity to stick, but I imagine the new OL coach told Beane to cut/trade him. Bottom line keep productive players, get rid of non.
  4. Cut either Harris or Makatevich, keep Spector
  5. You mean other than Bruce Smith, Reggie White, or Lawrence Taylor?
  6. My expectations for this years 1st rd pick (CB): Day One Starter Pro Bowl Selection INT in the Super Bowl to preserve the WIN!
  7. I would think in order to get a top (starts day one) corner, the Bills would move up in the draft, willing partner dependant. Otherwise, BPA of either WR or CB. Then in 2nd rd, CB or WR.
  8. With the 2022 Bills Offense continuing it's playoff performance, the Bills will only need a punter for holding on extra points and field goals or an occasional emergancy punt.
  9. They drafted the weakest arm in the draft in the 1st round (waste of a pick if you want a pass first offence) Most of the "receiving" money went to two tight ends, not really a pass first duo. Their "identity" from the start of the season to the playoffs was, run first, run heavy, control the tempo, pay great defense to keep the score low. Why? Because their weak armed QB with no deep threat receiver could not be counted on to get them out of a hole.
  10. With the rule changes over the years favoring the offensive side of the game, this is now a passing league and a QB, was and still is, it's most important position. The combo of QB/WR (take advantage of the rules) followed by CB/DE (counter to the rules) are where teams are putting their money. The Bill's top 4 players (money wise) are QB, DE, WR, CB. (Allen, Miller, Diggs, White) NE seems to be going in the opposite direction. Weak armed QB, no WR weapon to throw to, and let their top CB (exposed by Diggs) walk. Their top DE (jodun) was exposed by Allen as second rate. Their strategy of run the ball/play great defense may have got them to the playoffs, but no further and all indications are they won't make the payoffs this year. Buffalo, on the other hand, is considered the favorite to make and win the SB.
  11. I was originally a huge Packer fan, with Bart Starr at QB. Loved their colors and helmet logo. When they drafted OJ, it peaked my interest and I would catch games on the radio (thank you Van.) I started really liking the Bills in 1980 with Fergy, Cribbs, Butler, Smerlas, and Knox. It was really painful to watch them after Knox left (however they had some really good drafts during those few years, (Bruce, Talley, Reed) but once Marv took over, they signed Kelly (really wanted them to draft Marino) and they started their march towards greatness, I really got excited. For me, the 1988 season was the second best/most enjoyable to watch. Only the 2020 season was better. The Kelly years were a roller coaster of emotions and look forward to many years to come.
  12. My first in person Bills Game! It was a great day and game. It was also the worse, as far as, drunken/drug addled behavior than any rock concert I attended at Rich Stadium. Lot's of "probing" going on in the first quarter. What a treasure Van Miller was.
  13. I thought general consensus was a top WR will get you an additional win or two, but a top QB is worth 4 to 5 wins in a season. Then there's Josh who is worth about 6 or 7 wins, not including playoffs. As long as there is a steady stream of quality WRs coming out of college, the market will stabilize. I also see the Adams contract an aberration from a rookie head coach.
  14. Most of Hill's yards are from short passes that result in YAC, not long downfield throws. Almost perfect for Tua's range.
  15. No he is not the "over the hump" guy, but it does stabilize the CB position, leaving the Bills the opportunity to draft the BPA and not reach for, or have to move up for a CB in the 1st round. The 1 year deal, can be renegotiated for a more favorable cap hit and extends Bradberry for a year or two. If anyone can doit, Beane can.
  16. Increases the odds, Beane drafts a really fast CB in the 1st round.
  17. FWIW, my BIL is a 20 year Browns season ticket holder. He is livid; the owner is a piece of trash, he did Mayfield, Mayfield should not have played last year because of his injury, (blames the coaches,)this is all b@llsh!t, and to top it off, mortgage the team for a piece of trash rapist. Add in letting quality players walk or trade away. Don't know if he will give up his seats and/or join the Bills Mafia. I invited him up for the Bills - Browns game, but it might be too soon.
  18. BPA at either WR or CB in rounds 1 & 2. RB or TE in round 3 OL, CB, DL, S in remaining rounds. Correction: if we lose Bates, then OL in 3rd round.
  19. If the Bills do not resign Hughes, I would include him in the sad column. All these years busting his nuts and the team is on the verge of getting a ring, he is shown the door.
  20. I am all in favor of getting a running back that can reduce Josh Allen's running yards (i.e. wear and tear), IF he were available in the second round, but not at the 25th pick.
