  1. Fergie? Yuck haha. She looks like a mongrel. To each their own i guess. But yeah people dont use the search function nearly enough
  2. I don't get it. Original poster said Rosen to Buffalo talk begins at 3 minutes but all I heard was that Bruschi was an idiot... sorry IS an idiot. Like everyone said. If Beane & Co. are that convinced of Rosen being THE guy, then concerns such as him not wanting to play here wouldnt be an issue. I just can't see us paying that stiff price to move up to #3 for a guy who doesn't wanna play here. Maybe back in 1983 but not now, not with this regime. Stranger things have happened of course... such as Bruschi being asked for his opinion when everyone knows dudes an idiot
  3. Wow cant believe he got that much. For the past few years he's been one of the better values in terms of contract cost vs performance. A quick google search netted this result: http://www.espn.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/227476/patriots-legarrette-blount-one-of-best-values-in-nfl-history Well hey good for him. I'm sure he wanted a longer term contract but dude wanted to get paid haha
  4. So far this offseason I've been pleased with what our staff has done, with the 1 exception of Chris Ivory. Ivorys age, performance, salary all seem questionable for why we'd want to add him. Legarrette Blount in my opinion would've been a far better option than Ivory. I dont know the terms of his contract with the Lions but I imagine he could've been had for 2-3 mil per year. Ive always thought he was a solid back. Runs tough & would appear to be a good locker room addition, just from his experience. Man has 2 superbowls now with 2 different teams. Good signing by the Lions... still wish we wouldve signed him & the Lions got Ivory. As with all things time will tell I suppose.
  5. yeah i trust the process too but i dont see how you can point to Cam's development as a reason for why we should believe we can develop a qb here. Do we have ken Dorsey as our qb coach? Norv Turner maybe? No. I guess i'm in the camp of these other posters where i just dont see the central point here, other than the general idea of trusting the process lol.
  6. seriously made a new topic for him when theres already a recent thread about him that turned into a pukefest? God I cant wait til the Draft :/
  7. since the Jets resigned McCown it looks like Bridgewater is back on the market. Perhaps he's in play for the Bills.
  8. Tyrod or Kap? If you were to take the silent protest away by Kap, i think everyone on this board would pick Kap hands down. Its all the other business thats influencing everyones opinions... the politics of Kap. Talent wise, what happens on the field, Kaepernick is hands down a better qb, i dont think its even a debate. Just my opinion of course!
  9. I think if the Eagles were seriously wanting to trade Foles, the Jets wouldve been in on him or perhaps another team. I just dont see the Jets signing Bridgewater if Foles wouldve been available for a mid round pick. I see the Eagles holding on to Foles at the very least to training camp & most likely for the whole season. Philly doesnt really NEED to trade him. Having an mvp superbowl winning qb on ur team isnt such a bad thing to have
  10. well said! Unfortunately i fear this thread is about to fall off a cliff. Thread lock incoming in 5, 4, 3...
  11. please, anyone but Matt "Nobody Wants" Moore... at this point I'd like Foles obviously if it wasnt too expensive, but even though im not thrilled about it, I can see McCown being a smart choice. He'd likely be signed for cheap, he's familiar with the Erkhardt Perkins system we'll be deploying this season & would be a great mentor for whoever we draft. Get er done Beane, my F5 key is not gonna last much longer!
  12. After the recent trading of Glenn it should be 100% obvious to most that we are moving up in this draft to get our QB. And with the acquisition of additional picks, we can move up without mortgaging the entire draft. We'll still have 5 other picks to spend on players & we'll take a shot at our franchise QB. After spending the past 20 years with only drafting a QB 3 times in the 1st round, the status quo is no longer an option. These guys have a plan & they are rebuilding this team methodically & piece by piece. When all is said & done theres never any guarantee the QB you pick is gonna work out, but i dont think this bunch is gonna pick a JP Losman or EJ Manuel. I hate to say it but trust the process.
  13. i love the moves & everyone ive talked to has agreed as well. The status quo will no longer do. These guys want to win & they have a plan. TRUST THE PROCESS because for once we FINALLY HAVE ONE!!! I couldnt be happier... maybe come draft day I will be. Circle dem wagons... GO BILLS!!!
  14. yep... i think in Bradfords only game last year he threw for over 300 yards & 3 td's... but then he got injured. If he did join the Bills he'd be the best qb here since Bledsoe. Bradford, Bledsoe, both qb's names start with B. We're the Buffalo Bills... 2 more B's. Coincidence? SuperBowl BB!
  15. arrghh.. guess that means we're getting Bradford... i wouldve rather we got Keenum but hey if Bradfords knee holds up it could be good
  16. The days of the LT being way more important than RT are over. With how often the defensive line rotates & DE's switch sides, the RT spot is just as important as LT. I dont know how important it is to a tackles mindset that theyre LT or RT. But I too would rather we keep Glenn at this point if he's healthy. Especially with us bringing in 1 or 2 new qb's this year. Giving them every chance at success is key. We've paid the price of not having Glenn healthy the past couple years. Hopefully his injury issues have been fixed & he'll be ready to go
  17. screw Brock Osweiler... no way is he being thought of coming here. Over the past 3 years he has regressed. At least with keenum his play has gotten better. True you can make the argument that he had a good supporting cast, but you still cant take away from the fact that he's been maturing as a qb. Just look at his stats:
  18. If the choice is between Bradford, McCarron, Bridgewater or Keenum i'd take Keenum. Reason being is i followed him while he played at Houston & dude lit it up in college & seems to have grown in confidence as the years have gone by. He just seems to me to have the least risk associated with him. No real injury concerns & is a good character guy... shouldnt break the bank either.
  19. I'd be okay with jackson as long as we dont move up to get him. If he's there at 21 or 22 than hey i'll take it. But i'd really prefer to see Baker Mayfield. I just like his attitude & his accuracy numbers have gone up every year ive seen. Not to mention dude has a cannon for an arm. His velocity is good which in the cold & windy weather here in Buffalo will be really important for cutting thru the wind. But if we get Jackson, putting him with Daboll & running the system he's familiar with, i'll still be happy with it. I mean with drafting only what is it, 3 qb's in the 1st round in the past 20 years, i'll take anything at this point. I really wanted Mahomes or Watson last year & wish we wouldve gotten our qb then, but now is the time... No more kicking the can down the road. I say draft a qb every 1st round til we get our guy... enough is enough..
  20. A post last night showed what the velocity numbers were for the qb's that threw at the combine. Jackson had one of the worst (slowest) velocity on his throws. Combine that with his accuracy stats from college, along with his combine performance & i think thats why people are critical of Jackson. I dont see how it can be race when alot of people are saying Barkley should be #1 off the board. He's black... excuse me (african american), people arent racist where he's concerned. This Bleacher Report article just screams of sensationalism for click bait. It's a shame they went the race card route just for clicks. But hey i guess it worked since we're actually talking about it.
  21. well according to Cushings Instagram, he just retired from the NFL... so u can scratch him off the list
  22. i cant wait for free agency to start and this draft to get here. I know every offseason is like this but after making the playoffs last year, hopes are high... should be exciting to see what moves we make!
  23. I've said it before & i'll say it again. For this system a CB like Gaines can easily be replaced. If the contract would be 4-5 mil a year, im all in, but I surely wouldnt want to see the Bills invest 9 mil a year on a player who historically misses 5-6 games a season. I see us replacing him via free agency while drafting another cb in the middle of the draft. We have too many other needs & issues to resolve than overpaying for an oft injured system cornerback
  24. thanks for posting this. I read the original article posted & it was quite informative. Gives me hope that Daboll could be a great hire & a step in the right direction. With a simplified & more diverse system, along with a solid draft & offseason acquisitions, I don't think i've ever been more excited for the future as I am right now. GO BILLS!
