  1. oh please. We had K. Williams all year available as a FB, and we used it once!!! Fridge Perry time w/ Williams!
  2. exactly! And then draft a QB, and St. Brown at WR.
  3. This story is tragic, but the answer is not "lets have robots do everything for us!" after cars, perhaps robots can walk across the street for us, serve us drinks (whoops, happening in Vegas), etc. This idiot (1) should not have been in the Country; and (2) perhaps putting an ignition interlock on all vehicles would have stopped this.
  4. wow. that is nice. mayfield and price falling that far seems, far-fetched. but that would be nearly an ideal draft!
  5. I ended up with this. Helps the offense and new QB. But does not do too much for D or OL. Will need to fill DL, OL in FA, and RB in UDFA. 1: R1P21 QB LAMAR JACKSON LOUISVILLE 2: R1P22 LB TREMAINE EDMUNDS VIRGINIA TECH 3: R2P21 TE MARK ANDREWS OKLAHOMA 4: R2P24 C JAMES DANIELS IOWA 5: R3P31 WR DAESEAN HAMILTON PENN STATE 6: R4P21 EDGE DUKE EJIOFOR WAKE FOREST 7: R5P21 EDGE MARQUIS HAYNES MISSISSIPPI 8: R5P29 S TREY MARSHALL FLORIDA STATE
  6. I agree. I think you get a stud DT in the draft, a rotational guy in FA, and bring back KW and start him. My guess is he is back and starts. Also, I want to see him at FB near the goal-line!
  7. I don't think Belichick want's to be exposed as the fraud he is. He has a fantastic staff and great QB. Not to mention the numerous minions who cheat for him. If he had to actually coach, he'd be what he was with the Browns. Brady. Bellicheck's system will be obliterated w/o Brady, McDaniels and Patrica next year. I agree. NFL desperate to get ppl to watch this joke of a game. I'm not. I would if it were the Saints, or some team that has a shot at beating the serial Cheaters.
  8. Jeffrey. Agholor too hit or miss, likely needs a better QB than we have to play to his max. That said, I'd find it difficult to trade him even for Jeffrey. I want to see what Shady and the RB we draft can do next year. Have a backfield like the Saints have!!
  9. unless the Bills trade a 2nd. Then we still have 2 firsts! I think the only way he does this is if he knows a team out there is going to sign him to a long-term deal. If so, could they re-work the $34 million next year over several years? Like 30 mill a year or whatever a QB goes for now!
  10. Good points, but sometimes teams get antsy and out-think themselves. Happened with Rodgers, Brees, and Wilson.
  11. If not the Giants, I can see him falling out of the 1st round or to the Steelers or Pats**. I agree, he needs to sit behind a vet for a while. Great talent, just not all "put together."
  12. he may fit what the new OC wants to run. He'd be a good pick at 21/22. A guy with huge upside.
  13. that could be code for keeping our draft picks? I think TT and Glenn may be cut/moved, with replacements for Glenn and front 7 in FA/draft.
  14. if you are Cleveland and Rosen is your top guy, take him. he either plays for you, or you trade him for a mother-load of picks. CLE is in a great position draft wise if they don't screw it up. (a BIG if)
  15. I think the issue here is that an Elite prospect does not really exist in this draft outside of perhaps 2 QB's (Mayfield and Rosen). You don't trade-up for a non-elite prospect, you let those guys come to you. And we have a ton of gaps in our current team that our existing picks and cap money can fill that make a QB like Bradford or Bridgewater very likely to take this team far into the playoffs.
  16. Retain both draft and Salary Cap capital. While everyone is chasing Cousins, grab Bradford or Teddy. Take best QB remaining at 21 or 22. I don't see a "sure-fire" trade-up. Darnold scares me (turnover machine); Rosen perhaps I'd trade-up for. But I'd go with a high-upside guy in the 21-22 range. Let that guy learn from our FA QB. Use picks and remaining cap space to shore up front 7 and OL, WR.
  17. I agree with most of this post. However, the income tax is paid where you play the games. So no income tax for home games, but away games you'll still get hit. I think Denver or the Jets due to Elway and the coaching connection in NJ.
  18. Byrd had 4 new starters in the secondary and they played extremely well together. That in and of itself is a feat.
  19. added how it would be won. !
  20. absurd IMO. Completely turned the secondary around.
  21. this whole thing is odd. Is he really and upgrade. Still unclear why we fired Byrd.
  22. The issue I have with Smith is that he is only under a 1 year deal, and many people will want Smith, so I think it will take a 2nd. Then, he is going to want to cash-in. I'm also not sure if he throws with anticipation. And the 0 TD's to WR's of 2 years ago worries me.
  23. ok, that last part was a joke---but really, what happened Friday? The initial info about him retiring came out Thursday?
  24. ok. what happened Friday?>! I've been away at some high level meetings.
