Gilmore is now beloved in NE (Yahoo Article)

Bradham is a player I'd like to see back. -
Jordan, and it's not close. (1) how many Championships did Jordan lose? None. Brady: two. In fact, Brady did not win a SB between 2004 and 2014. Jordan quit basketball, played baseball, came back and won three more Championships; (2) Brady has been caught cheating; (3) Jordan was an all-star both offensively and defensively. Brady is a pocket QB whom I do not think would survive outside the NE system; (4) Brady never faces the pass-rush because his OL is never called for holding. Jordan is better by a mile. Brady does have an immense help by playing behind the "zebra-line" that never gets called for holding, and getting PI calls against his WR's when either the ball is un-catch-able; and/or the defender is legitimately making a play on the ball. The "shine" has come off the "Brady comeback" the last few years.

Pats create PI when they are losing

unfortunately, this is true unless you either: (1) have a clueless ref, which a lot are; or (2) are playing the Pats** -
[POLL] Are you going to watch the Super Bowl?

I wish you the best of luck. $$ in your pocket is better than watching the Pats** -

I disliked the idea of Marrone in the SB also. But....(1) I hate the Pats***, and (2) Gilmore is now in the superbowl. -
Schwartz may be the next Dick LeBeau. Great DC, average HC. I think there are just "newer/shiner" toys in this years HC search bin.

What will happen with the offensive line?
RyanC883 replied to Sky Diver's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think they keep Glenn unless they can get Cap relief otherwise and use it to go after a stud front 7 on the D. I think Miller gets better. I think they keep Henderson (cheap, and huge upside). Mills and Ducasse will be kept, at least through camp (see below). I think one of their first two picks is either Billy Price (C/G) from Ohio State, or Mike McGlinchey (OT) from Notre Dame. Both would be day 1 starters. MCD likes great line play, and I can't envision us not using a 1st round pick on OL. We don't have a lot of depth there and are getting old. -
Congrats officials on another Super Bowl berth.....
RyanC883 replied to cba fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Pats**** offensive line NEVER gets called for holding. The idea that any team can have zero penalties against its offense or defense (you can't count the meaningless kickoff holding) is totally irrational and rediculous. I don't care how "disciplined" a team is. NO penalties against your offense or defense is impossible. Refs protect QB's like Brady more than regular QB's by letting the OL hold, etc. -
Kiper Mock Draft: Josh Allen #1
RyanC883 replied to Jamie Muellers Ghost's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think this is correct. They went after Gaines last year for a reason. I think they draft a CB or safety later on as a backup, or find a cheap one in FA. -
Shady Wants to Keep His "Lil Coins" in 2018

I totally agree. That's why I think this guy on twitter is a nefarious Jets or Dolphins fan! -
Available FA's who might be a fit with the BIlls
RyanC883 replied to BmarvB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, in fairness, Bradford is much better than Kolb, so that may merit the risk. And I feel that our 1st round pick will be better than EJ Manuel. And bring back K. Williams. Draft an Edge guy or hope Lawson turns into that. Your suggestion is not too out of line with what the Panther's model was on D. And it's a winning one, Imo. Make the teams throw into one of the best secondaries. Have fun w/ that! -

Also with Bradford and a rookie, you can't lose. The rookie either learns from a great QB, or the rookie learns for a few games then has to go in if Bradford is injured. No QB controversy with Bradford on a 1-2 year deal. -

Great article. Thanks for posting. Here is who I want: Gaines, K. Williams, Bradham (a LB who can cover. That gives us two with Milano). If we don't get Bradham, Toomer from LA Chargers. P. Brown if he is not getting overpaid on the market. A tackling maching between Bradham and Milano is good, and I think we have a rookie as well in there. Would also like Cadet for RB depth, and one of the available pass rushers (Lynch, 49ers?). And a QB not named Cousins. I like him, but way too expensive compared to a guy like Keenum, or Bradford, or Bridgewater, who, if healthy, could be the answer at QB. -
I get that, but I can't stand him on the sideline laughing when they are winning games when they have done 4 running plays in a row. He played TERRIBLE against us. I hope Jax wins, and then is destroyed in the SB. On the other hand, if Bortles plays well, perhaps Jax is not a competitor for a FA QB. As a last thought: has any team been as lucky as the Pats*** in terms of easy roads to the SB. Really, Tenn and Jax. hahaha.

If it’s my pick here is the Bills next QB
RyanC883 replied to bills in oregon's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm up for doubling-down on QB's. 1 in the 1st, one later on. QB's are like a box of Chocolates, you never know if you get Cousins or Brady later in the draft. Falk would be great. I'd like the combo of Rudolph/Falk. I agree. Darnold seems to need a year as a backup before he is ready. If I'm trading up, I'd only do it for Rosen---perhaps for Mayfield if the price is right. -
from what I can read, moral of this game is have S. Diggs or another type on the team and a QB who can get him the ball.
-
what just happened. wish I had watched the 2nd half of this one!
-
my question is why did it take this guy so long to put him in?? Also, J. Hurts was subpar all year long. hey, if he can adjust to team strengths, then that is good with me. I'm sick of the past coaches we had that insisted on their philosophy--personnel be dammed.
-
in a "wait and see" mode. Alabama offense is not exactly a juggernaut, and Jalen Hurts was awful most of the season. The backup QB (can't recall his name) who came in the 2nd half of the National Championship is a stud--not sure that has anything to do with this guy.

Proves that we have MUCH better coaching than the Steelers. Numerous miscues by the Steelers: (1) TWO times on 4th and 1, got "cute" and failed to convert; (2) kicking an onside kick when it made zero sense to do so; (3) not kicking the FG, letting the clock run to 1 second; and then (4) with one second left, not trying an onside w/ laterals, etc. Instead kicking it right to Jax. Fraizer is a MUCH BETTER DC than Butler also. Butler took an entire half to realize that to stop Jags running game you need a safety in the box. It's like he realized this at halftime. Did they watch tape of the Bills game. Seems like the Steelers were looking ahead to next week. MCD would not let that happen.
