  1. this has less to do with color than personality. L-Smith has a "bland" personality, where Fisher is smoke and mirrors on his way to continual losing seasons. Sucks to be a Rams fan. Speaking of Lovie, where is he now? Potential Bills HC next season if the Bills bottom out this year?
  2. (1) always hang in there (2) Lawson hopefully playing this year gives me some hope, as does the hope for another WR eventually stepping up or being picked up who can provide a solid #2 opposite Watkins.
  3. Roman is looking more and more like a bust. Great at coaching the running game, but totally un-creative with passing routes, etc. Also, spread the WR's out to open up the running game. I'm with you. TT shocked me in the fact that he continued to stare down WR's and totally lacked anticipation on any of his throws. After the game I flipped over to the Raiders v. Saints. Carr looked light-years ahead of TT.
  4. Imagine Watkins on the Packers. Yikes. TT better get it together. On another note, perhaps we trade criminally-underutilized Clay to the Eagles now that they lost Ertz for a few weeks.
  5. not a terrible idea. Even Mat McGloin (Raiders backup) likely plays better than this.
  6. depends on his play. If there are another 2 games like this with almost no productivity, I'd say after 4 for sure. Bring in Jones at that point, or even EJ. EJ doesn't play well in one game, then Jones.
  7. watching the multitude of good QB's we could have/should have drafted makes me wanna puke. Esp. Carr and Wilson. then, he needs to go. Who is the Raiders OC? That unit has vastly improved every year. Even Crabtree is playing well last 1.5 years.
  8. exactly. Roman's game plan turned out to be terrible, and then he made NO adjustments.
  9. It's inexcusable that we did not go 4-5 wide and spread out the D. The D was okay, but as another poster noted, more blitzes would have helped. You can give freaking Flacco and his talented WR's ALL DAY. whoever told Rex to throw the challenge flag should be fired. It looked like Rex didn't want to until that guy came running to him (and I'm neutral on Rex). Anyway, didn't impact the result of the game as much as: (1) Roman's terrible offensive plan (why is Roman getting a pass from so many??); (2) terrible play by all WR's except Watkins; (3) vanilla D that let Flacco have all day to pass; (4) Dan Carpenter missing a FG that would have tied the game; and (5) TT continuing to stare-down his WR's and not anticipating the passes. He looked awful today, worse than at any point last year.
  10. The O-line was a MAJOR disappointment. Inability to run-block and inability to protect TT. We could also use another WR, since we seem to have only Watkins. Also a bruising back would be nice. Def. Time to start looking for a kicker. Steelers found one (Boswell) last season. It can be done. Carp is terrible. Loved the guy, but he is done. or they just have a different opinion than you. No need to say people on here "know little about football." I'd say most on here know a lot about football.
  11. Bills win 27-17. Bills D is able to contain the run. A. Washington plays like a monster on D. Preston Brown is great. We shut-down the Ravens questionable running game, forcing Flacco to pass into our secondary. Darby and another DB have a pick. We are able to control the clock on offense with McCoy and Co. Bush gets a gadget play on offense that goes for a huge gain. Tyrod plays within himself while outplaying Flacco. Has 1 TD, 200 yards. McCoy over 100 yards total. TD's from Watkins, McCoy, defense pick 6. 2 FG's.
  12. Karlos needs to get rid of her Fiancee's twitter account! Not going to help him sign with another team.
  13. perhaps James Harrison can teach him out to stay in shape. In all seriousness, a RB combo of him and Bell, with Williams as Bell's "backup" is a good backfield. And the Steelers need RB depth. One of their weak-spots.
  14. From what I've read now, it appears the Browns will only trade him for a "King's Ransom." If that's the case, no thanks. Pryor has looked good for them at WR in training camp and games. Might be a good duo for Cleveland with those two.
  15. No way. I think Bosa is overrated, IMO. Perhaps trade a 1st (hopefully it will be a late one), but def not 1st and 2nd. I'd start with 2nd, that can move to a 1st based on playing time/performance. But, deadline passed.
  16. conditional pick tied to playing time and outcome, up to a 3rd round pick. Even 2nd if he makes the Pro Bowl. He's a top 10 WR talent. If he plays as one, who would object to giving up a 3rd or even 2nd round pick?
  17. I'd say that it is improving. They looked good against the Giant's starters, and that is a very good offensive unit. (passing wise at least, they still need a RB)
  18. perhaps some middle ground. Guaranteed contract for injury, not for performance. That "guaranteed" injury amount also does not count against the cap. In terms of griping about suspensions, the players need to zip it. They have ZERO public support. Anyone else would not get a 4 game suspension from work, they would get fired. Also, 90% of players don't get suspended.
  19. Greg Roman + TT + Shady + Bush + Woods + Watkins=outstanding!
  20. Best of luck to Marcell. Hope he is able to get the help he needs and get his life in order. And that he comes back in 4 weeks ready to wreck havoc on the NFL!! Step 1: get life in order. Step 2: resume pro-bowl career.
  21. other Williams looks good. Perhaps a Williams quota in the backfield?
  22. same as any other team. If your a star player, multiple infractions are not acceptable. If you have "potential" or at a position of depth, your expendable. Still, at least play him against the Giants.
  23. Cowboys in a great situation. Great starter with a solid backup who can learn from him for 2 years or so. Also has one of the NFL's best RB's and WRs, plus a great O line. Great place for rookie QB. not much pressure with the Cowboys stacked O-line.
