  1. I was going to take Willis or D. Brown, who already was selected. Jags in big need of fixing their lines, the Jags likely take a WR at 21 (due to the depth at WR compared to OL/DL). But Jeudy is hard to pass up. I like the Delpit selection. He was mocked top 10 before last season. This could be an Ed Oliver selection where people call it the "steal" of the draft a year from now. I think he is a pro-bowl caliber safety, and is very valuable in the AFC North.
  2. with the #9 pick, the Jaguars and their 3 US-based fans are ecstatic to select Jedrick Willis--OT Alabama. Willis will help the statute that is Nick Foles stay upright and be able to actually get the ball to some of the WR weapons that Jax possesses. He will also be able to open holes for Jax running game. Cheerio to our fans in London, @Rc2catch and the Browns are now on the clock.
  3. I could see us upgrading the backup position with a 3rd or later pick if someone slips or we like someone like Jalen Hurts--who is a project; more likely, I see a FA being brought in to challenge for the backup spot. I think Barkely is adequate, but if Bean and Co. see a major upgrade, I think they take it....just not in 1-3 rounds.
  4. what sports betting app can I place a bet on this. I'm taking over all day.
  5. Knox should win it! Plus, it was a huge play at that time of the game.
  6. totally agree. Conklin!!!
  7. it looks like this: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ We'll keep him. And as others have noted, sooner rather than later is likely better. Keeps him locked up, lower price, and sends a good signal to players that we keep those who perform over several seasons.
  8. well, I like that the Bills notice the need for another good TE. You look at the Ravens and Eagles, both have good, 2 young TE's. The 49ers have 2 good TE's when the FB is lined up as a TE or WR. I would love two good TE's. The pressure on the D it can create is valuable.
  9. RB class also looks deep this year. I'll take LSU's RB in Rd. 3. (Edge/WR likely 1st and 2nd). well, this can change my mind. If he is an elite level receiver, he can also be lined up at WR with Singletary in the backfield, WR in 2nd, then you have a problem covering them all, not to mention Knox and Hunter/Hooper/Olsen.
  10. this is great info! I
  11. I’ll take Henry then. Two legit no 1 TE’s in Henry and Knox.
  12. Watching the SB yesterday, and seeing all the ways Samuel helped the 49ers offense led me to thinking that the Bills, who like to use a WR in a similar fashion, are likely really high on Shenault. That said, I'm not a college football guru, but Shenault is several inches taller than Samuel, albeit perhaps a bit less muscular. Thought? Should the Bills target Shenault. Can he be a number 1 WR and a jacknife like Samuel? Here are the players pre-draft profiles: https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/deebo-samuel https://thedraftnetwork.com/player/laviska-shenault-jr/NLQE1jFVo5
  13. ideal FA haul!
  14. 1000% agree with this. I'd target Hooper or Henry as FA1. Back to the draft, I'll take Jags, Seattle and/or Saints. Whatever is needed.
  15. the big ridiculousness in this game is out thinking yourself and getting away from what works. Stopped running the ball at the end of the game when it was working. If it stopped working, they had the option to do a number of other things (Samuels, pass, etc.) The lack of play calling rhythm at the end of the game was Daboll like. Yes, you want to keep your foot on the gas, but that does not always mean throwing the ball. The other, major irritant for me was the lack of timeout at the end of the 1st half. Total loser mentality to be happy with a tie. Get at least a FG, then get the ball back, get a TD and you're up 10 to start the 3rd.
  16. @Virgil thanks for doing this again. I love it. I'll take any team, or two teams if needed.
  17. at least we have 90 million in cap space, a good draft record, and improving young players like White, Edmunds, Allen, and Singletary. We should expect 10 wins next year, and a SB run. I'm serious. We are not that far off.
  18. TE Hooper or Henry. Having a dynamic TE combo will open up the offense. Allows us to hit a WR 1 in the draft or FA, get another RB in the draft, and gives Josh another big target. Look at what the teams did yesterday with ONE dynamic TE. SF basically has two with their FB. It really helps a JB like Josh. \
  19. san fran should have room to run here so, never seen so many false start calls
  20. I’d rather see youth flag football championship or HS or something else at halftime.
  21. without it the D guy was grabbing him (PI). he pushed him off from grabbing him, imo
