  1. yeah if thats the rule that’s the way it goes. but I would go with a warning with a series or two out first.
  2. refs getting ready to work Pats@@@ games next year!!
  3. zero tolerance in the nfl would be a joke with the poor quality of nfl officiating.
  4. I’d give 15 yards, perhaps even ejection for 2 series on the first then ejection.
  5. no warning at first seems severe. give a warning then kick out. too hard to inadvertently lower it or have it look that way.
  6. I missed this targeting call. was that legit or just a football play that looked bad.
  7. Chase Young. I hope you are right. Just based on what I’ve read. I don’t watch enough college ball to have an assessment. I line this one (but if we are at 32). https://www.draftsite.com/nfl/mock-draft/2021/ walter football has him at 4. https://walterfootball.com/draft2021.php

  9. Really want him next year but prob top 10 pick. oh he just missed a block, perhaps drops to 32 next year!
  10. I agree Knox had a good rookie year. His numbers compare favorably to Kittle, Rudolph, etc's rookie years. That said, I would spend to bring in a guy like Hooper or Henry. The mismatch potential with Knox and Hooper/Henry is insane. And TE's are a young QB's friend. That also gives Allen another "big" receiver.
  11. The one I really want is Hooper. Get two good pass catching TE's. There appear to be Edge, WR's, OL, RB, etc available in the draft. Good luck defending Hooper, Knox, Brown, Higgins or whatever WR we get (Jefferson), and Beasley. We can throw long, short, etc. What team can cover both Knox and Hooper, plus Brown, Beasley and WR. On D, draft the kid from LSU Chassion, or PSU's DE whose name I won't attempt to spell and am too lazy to look up!
  12. I think Kroft and Murhpy were both necessary risks at the time given the current state of TE and DL when they were signed. I expect (hope) Kroft is gone this year and we see Hooper/Knox at TE. Clowney's injuries do worry me because we have a good DL now. We need a guy to make it elite. If he's not out there, he can't help. I'll trust our medical people. I really won't freak out if we do or don't get him because I trust Bean with this.
  13. I 100% agree. This FA needs to be about getting quality playmakers. We have a ton of above-average guys, we need a few elite guys beyond Tre.
  14. or tom brady, that's also 15 yards.
  15. yeah, his numbers THIS YEAR. He's fantastic, but put his career numbers against other DT's. Totally different picture. No way we should pay him top 3 DT pay. I'd keep Lawson and draft a DT or get a FA DT as a rotational part.
  16. Conklin or an Edge (Yannik). Mariota is a great choice as backup, but I see him in NE or somewhere where he could start. I’d go for quality over quantity in FA this year. We need elite talent. Does not necessarily have to be a expensive (could be a Hyde type signing), but a guy like Conklin will be and is worth it IMO.
  17. na, I'd rather Texas lose. They win, that should have been us. Plus, will make the loss sting more for the players hopefully, as it should.
  18. I agree we need elite talent at OL, DE/Edge, WR, and TE. I think Bean last year had so many holes to fill, esp at WR and OL, that he had to go with guys slightly above league average. The good news, is now we add elite talent to those guys and we have a very powerful team. not really. I think the question is WHO the bills should target to complement Singletary. Perhaps someone with knowledge of the college game, or who has a list of NFL free agents at the ready can make a poll and then a discussion will follow.
  19. true they don't have enough players, but Daboll didn't do enough with what they had. Gore up the middle? Yeldon inactive. Not enough TE targets (1 against Pitt, who is awful against TE's). Inconsistent game calling that resembled "pick a play out of a hat."
  20. drinking a little early today you sir, win troll post of the day
  21. odd that Higgins was not scouted? There is a "not" next to his name? No way he makes it to 22, but he'd be my pick if there, even if an edge is there.
  22. Titans look legit. Getting legit QB play, great running game, very good D. I don't see anyone beating them right now.
  23. That's possible, but I think if the coach comes out, and the owner backs him up, esp. on a call that was WRONG that led to a fine, you'd have analysists coming after the NFL for any additional sort of chicanery.
  24. same thing I thought! Total BS on the knee injury.
