  1. that would be a nice return. What's his tag price?
  2. I thought Ford was drafted for some reason. At any rate, I don't buy the "you can find a RB anywhere" mentality. There are some in the draft that look like fits, but I'd rather roll with Motor, Yeldon and a draft pick than have to rely on a late-round rookie as a backup.
  3. Great topic. I'd only want a TE if we miss out on Hunter or Hooper, who are likely the top TE and WR targets in FA, IMO. I would like Mariota as a backup. As another poster said, he has a similar skillset to Allen. CB's Jones (PHL) and Jackson (GB) look like good low-priced, high-upside guys.
  4. I'm all for dumping Kroft. I'd keep Lawson over Phillips (who is a bit of a 1.5 year wonder); unless we get Yannik. Then I'd grab ONE FA TE (unless we get Olsen, then I'd grab Hooper/Henry). I'm not as worried about WR FA's because we got the best at a lower cost in Hooper/Henry, and will be able to draft an impact WR. I'd also keep Yeldon, and tell Bean to actually use him. If we need to cut Yeldon to make room for a DE, however, I'd cut him and draft a replacement. But drafting a RB does not always work. Just look at our guys in the XFL!
  5. I think that would be, oddly, Cardale Jones! https://www.fantasyteamadvisors.com/xfl-week-1-qb-rankings/ clearly the best backup is Teddy Bridgewater. But that guy will be starting somewhere next year. Hopefully on the Chargers and NOT the Pats! FFIW, the Saints should keep him over Brees.
  6. Another benefit to Tre of extending now, is that the next contract will hit sooner, with even bigger numbers. gets a lot guaranteed now, and later. I'd love to get it done now. Guy is a stud.
  7. I like Mims in the 2nd. I think he's a great match for JA. this is why I can't use Fanspeak anymore. This is totally awesome, but no way Higgins lasts that long!
  8. I like most of these ideas. The Bull rush seems a bit off, but I like the thought process behind it.
  9. I saw Freeman and Addison going to the Bills. I like this, although I'd like to keep Lawson also. Freeman and Motor would be a fantastic pairing. But have to keep Spain and the OL together and add to it. (RT).
  10. exactly why not to click on the posts. If you want to generate conversation, how about a better topic: can Motor have avoid a sophmore slump? Can Knox become a fantasy football winner at TE next year, etc. Things that generate clicks without being a total waste of time.
  11. this is stupid. I used to respect PFF, but they have managed to do the unthinkable: become worse than Bleacher Report. Congrats guys. BTW: won't be clicking on these links. Total click-bate at best, terrible 1st grade analysis at worst.
  12. I think Perryman (WR-Tampa) is somewhat a high risk. The guy was a relative bust with the Ravens, had a good statistical year last year on a team that throws it A TON. Not sure what he would be here, and he will likely be mid-range in price. Not sure I'd go after him, but I wouldn't hate it either.
  13. as a backup, I think he's fine. I mean, look at some of the backup play last year around the league. Some great (Minchew), some not great (Duck in Pgh). As for Brady, my guess is Tenn. I could see that team being in win-now mode, esp. if it can keep D. Henry. They also have a good TE, and Brady loves those. I could also see the Saints if Brees and Bridgewater are gone. They could get Brady, keep Hill and let him become the starter after Brady leaves.
  14. well, we ended up with 2 of them eventually! drafting Aaron Maybin. Drafting Konjouo (OL) who had arthritic knees with a high pick.
  15. 22 A.J. Epenesa , EDGE Iowa 54 J.K. Dobbins , RB Ohio State 86 Denzel Mims , WR Baylor 118 Tyler Johnson , WR Minnesota 137 Davon Hamilton , IDL Ohio State 149 Jack Driscoll , OT Auburn 168 Lamar Jackson , CB Nebraska 181 Francis Bernard , LB Utah 187 Binjimen Victor , WR Ohio State I like this draft, although most of my top WR choices were gone by the 2nd round. But Mims is described as a guy who can get inaccurately thrown balls, Johnson tore up the Big 10, and DL Hamilton is an upgrade on Star.
  16. that round 1-3 is amazing. Albeit somewhat unrealistic, esp. Lewis in the 3rd. But that would be great.
  17. I really hope the team has watched this, multiple times. As @thebandit27 points out, there are numerous ways the Bills should have iced this game, but in typical Bills fashion, went into complete meltdown mode instead. At least it happened in the Playoffs this time, and this time, I think the Bills learn from it.
  18. I'll do the Jags in Rd. 3 if we are doing a 3rd round. I did the first, first round pick for them.
  19. “If he wants to overpay a little bit to keep Shaq Lawson, he can. He could cut Tyler Kroft, Star Lotulelei and Trent Murphy, and it wouldn’t make a dent in his cap space or his future cap because of the way he has structured the contracts.” the answer is yes, cut kroft, star and trent!
  20. I agree with OL. I just don't see a WR in FA who is worth it or will even produce to the level that Hooper/Henry will. I hope we get Hunter/Henry and Conklin (OL).
  21. Travis always has struck me as a major meat-head. And calling this legendary is nonsense.
  22. likely because his O-line was holding and he was throwing it away. That, and add on the fact that D players are afraid to hit him after the past 20 years of nonsense.
  23. mixed feelings. If we get him good, if not, it means we are looking at FA TE's and I can see my dream of Hooper/Henry coming!
  24. Knox is going to be a beast. It's funny, my 7 year old son saw that play, and was like, "I want a Knox jersey."
  25. good. Cooper has been a disappointment, IMHO, and will be overpaid for what he produces. I'd rather have a rookie, and someone who will cost less like AJ Green.
