  1. I see Milano getting another contract. He's good. Can't have a stud everywhere. We need more depth, but I could see the LB from Wyoming being a potential replacement. I also think his number here is way too high. good. Esp. White and Dawkins, who are game-changers at their positions. We need more elite players. Milano is a resign if we can get him at a fair (not inflated like the # above) price.
  2. likely some undersized WR. or try cramming Singletary up the middle, meanwhile, we will have drafted a guy who is a hammer. Daboll is nuts. totally agree. Was a fantastic signing. Played well in the first half, then ceded carries to the rookie in the second half. A perfect signing.
  3. then Yannick tweeted that he's done in Jax!
  4. I live in Pittsburgh, my 7 year old son saw the Bengals game and has made me watch Knox highlights every week after that. I had to explain that a TE does not always get "highlights" because they also block. He doesn't care, he watches the blocking, etc. He got a Knox jersey for Christmas (that he wears to school. Interestingly, the kid down the street has an Allen jersey, so they coordinate days to wear them). I also went to his school's open house last night. They have an art folder. On the front cover of it.....he colored a Knox jersey. Can't wait to show him this video!
  5. I agree with this. I'd love Shaq back, but if he's gone, I hope Yannik threatens to hold out in Jax (if he is actually tagged) and we get him.
  6. I like Quinn and Glasgow in FA. Although, I think we need an impact player in FA for offense. Bean has to quit pinching the pennies now. Get Hooper, he's the top receive (albeit as a TE) available. We need more receivers. I'd love Mims in the 2nd round, I don't know if that can happen. But if he makes it to the 2nd, I expect we trade up for him.
  7. more money for a game changing DE/OLB?? If Shaq and Phillips are gone, we had better "make a splash" in FA by signing an impact (sacks) DE/OLB and Hooper. Not making a splash was all well and good when the idea was to keep your own guys, etc., but if Lawson is gone, that's not keeping your own guys, and the anti-splash movement was also predicated upon making more cap space. We have the space, make a "smart splash"
  8. I like the guys we get. But no chance we trade with Miami so they can draft someone who many compare to Mahomes.
  9. I think he just got taken off the Bills board. I can't imagine the Bills taking him in the 1st, or in the 2nd with someone else who will be available. I really hope the Dolphins, Pats or Jets draft him. exactly. he could say he's dinged up or whatever and will work out at the Pro Day. But this sounds very different, almost like, I can't possibly prepare in 4 weeks for a workout. It comes off as if he's not focused on football.
  10. yeah, I’d disagree. Seattle is better than Green Bay, last year playoff notwithstanding. Rodgers also did nothing with J. Cook. Knox had a comparable rookie year to many TE 1’s. Hooper and Knox would be great together. Hooper should come here
  11. good point, but I think as a team overall, Seattle is better than Green Bay, and Buffalo is better than Green Bay. Plus, Wilson utilizes TE's, Rodgers, not so much. I think we are in the running here, and we should win it.
  12. this is a guy I'd get into a bidding war over. Plus, with more cap space likely coming in the next few years, and our available space, we should do it. A big receiving target for Josh.
  13. ideal scenario is a couple guys like that in the late 2nd available.
  14. Post Malone perhaps. Had a good New Years show. But I totally agree with the bolded part of your statement--at it serves no one. I don't think those people will suddenly become NFL regulars because of a good halftime show in the SB.
  15. I would love to land Ruggs. I can't see him lasting to us. Jefferson might, but I'm still bigger on taking a WR in round 2 if an impact Edge or OT is available in Rd. 1. In regards to Jefferson, I agree his height is not an issue. But is he simply a "slot" WR, or could we move him out wide also?
  16. Yeah I wouldn't want to trade up in the 2nd. Who knows, perhaps Shenault falls in the 2nd to us. He likely fell out of the 1st yesterday with his 40 time and others like Jefferson moving into the 1st. I think most WR's (1st round or not) take some time to develop. That's why I recommend grabbing Hooper (yes, a TE, but the best pass catcher likely to be available) in FA to pair with Knox.
  17. I think you can get both. Aiyuk, Mimms, Claypool, all offer size and playmaker ability. Higgins seems like a big WR who likely gets injured often. Goes up for the ball, BAM from a CB or safety or LB, injury.
  18. I like Mims from Baylor. Big guy, fast. Likely available in Rd. 2. Huge catch radius. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001102818/article/nine-instant-impact-receivers-who-wont-cost-a-firstround-pick
  19. Today's edition. Don't see Lamb at 22, but the early run on QB's, CB's and Edge made him fall here. 22 CeeDee Lamb , WR Oklahoma 54 Damon Arnette , CB Ohio State 86 Ben Bartch , OT St. John 118 Trevon Hill , EDGE Miami 137 Collin Johnson , WR Texas 149 Lamical Perine , RB Florida 168 Antonio Gandy-Golden , WR Liberty 181 Justin Strnad , LB Wake Forest 187 Raequan Williams , IDL Michigan State
  20. but then feel warm like spring or summer when we trade up in Rd. 2 for one of them and WINNING in primetime. (well, sometimes. other games were close).
  21. this is on my wishlist every year. #1 is winning SB; but #2 deep playoff run; #3, destroying the Pats***
  22. totally agree. And you can tell our coaches want to sit on leads with running. Not exactly my style, but the Steelers SB teams in the early 2000's had success doing that. And if you play that style, I agree, Clyde is a guy who can do it.
  23. I think a cheap 1 year prove it offer is all he will get. Might as well be here. This also likely does not stop us from getting Conklin, but it provides a nice coushin. We do not need to overpay for Conklin. The scenario can be Ford at Guard/backup RT, Glenn starting at RT, and draft a RT. Kind of a big win, IMO. If we get Conklin and Glenn, Conklin starts, Glenn backup. Ford Guard, Spain gone, draft a tackle. that face makes me think he'd like to be on the Bills with guys like Knox, etc.
  24. very good. I'd agree 1990. I trust that the FO will look at everyone, and make smart decisions as to whether or not to acquire that player. Also we appear to be good at QB and RB, have promise at TE, good at LB and DT, and in the secondary. Just need a few playmakers on offense and solidify the OL. (OL in the first would not shock me).
