  1. I like this plan. I’d get a DE in FA over a WR only because the draft seems to offer more WR options than DE. Top 3 DE could be gone by our pick. But I’m not sure who is out there.
  2. also, give the backups some experience. Might need one in the playoffs, or hopefully McD actually activates Williams and Yeldon over Foster and Perry.
  3. does he play special teams. if not, would he be on the inactive list with D. Williams? I think Ford will be a well above-average guard. Metcalf is a special talent.
  4. lack of rythym is the inconsistency. Daboll is the problem here.
  5. I don't think he puts it together if Daboll is here next year. The crazy playcalling is killing him. Any player needs to be in a rythym. Hand off, hand off, 50 yard pass, punt. then 10 yard pass, hand off, hand off, punt, etc. no rythym!
  6. lowest football IQ fans of any team. Total bandwagon fans, and a-holes.
  7. how much longer is Daboll around. He is awful. A young QB needs rhythm and to be able to play his style. Notice how the offense was much better at the end of the 1st and 2nd half? Not surprising given that we had to pass, JA got into a rhythm, ran, and played HIS style. JA did also miss Knox twice on somewhat difficult passes, but ones that should be made by a franchise QB. He also took too many sacks (should have thrown it way). But I think this is typical 2nd year stuff. Basically, JA can be great, but Daboll's playcalling is killing him.
  8. the independent evaluation was done by the same person operating the game clock.
  9. both the playcalling, and some execution were way off today. The amount of arm tackling was ridiculous.
  10. this thread is an over-analysis of other people over-analyzing?
  11. good analysis here. I would add that: 1. Josh should throw it away. Some of the sacks he took today were holding on way too long. 2. Dabol needs to throw to his RB's. And get Yeldon active. Daboll is very much handcuffing Josh. I get cutting down on the Int's, that has been great, but what the heck with the inconsistent playcalling. The only time we were in a rythym is when we needed to go down the field at the end of each half. He's way too conservative in his routine play calling.
  12. It's not a Duke Williams thread, but it has to be. There is no reason for Foster or Perry to be on the gameday roster over Duke and Yeldon. NONE. JA not throwing the deep ball, and when he does, not as accurately i think is the answer. The whole offense is discombobulated. I blame Daboll's play calling.
  13. he clearly needs a better OC. And he should have no role in hiring the OC.
  14. nice. that should be a better watch! Knox run v Bengals still one of my favs.
  15. that should be a short watch. not a lot of highlights today.
  16. Yeldon and Williams next week and playoffs. Not that Daboll knows how to use them
  17. perfect analysis of the offensive struggles today, IMO.
  18. I think part of JA’s issues consistency wise have to do with Daboll’s inconsistent play calling. there is no offensive rhythm.
  19. this is laughable. you reply to my post, disagree with it, I write a reply then you engage in name-calling and say I’m trying to pick a fight. Posts like this are whats wrong when people try to discuss a game. And reasonable ppl can disagree on whether JA played well today or not. I don’t think he did. He was just okay.
  20. his coaching today was substandard. this is the same game as the last few weeks. being on the field all game caught up to the D today.
  21. same thing they all said after Ravens game. Same performance today. in game coaching was a disaster
  22. the inactives are puzzling. get Perry out of there. Get Yeldon and Williams in.
  23. thats what most teams would have done. way too conservative coaching everywhere killed us
