Leslie Frazier "taking a year off from coaching" per Bills PR

I feel like he’d be a good studio guy. Calm demeanor, just bad at calling the right plays at the right time -

you are correct, but I think he won’t be back with the Bills. -

Murray also proved why you don’t give in. I think the Ravens backup was adequate. If the Ravens can get a first for him, then grab RB Robinson and a WR that offense will be above average. -
a world of chaos! really, I have no idea how that happened, but wasn’t going to pass it up. I’ve seen some mocks with him falling due to his athleticism and arm length

@YoloinOhio hope all is alright!!

easy. In the 1st, you take the Center from Minn (if he is still there). Then you can even get Patterson from ND in the 2nd. Or trade back and get Patterson in the 2nd. Here are some places to find IOL rankings/reviews. https://walterfootball.com/draft2023OG.php https://walterfootball.com/draft2023C.php https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/positions/OL/1/2023

The Guardian Cap/ Much needed head protection/ Cleat design change
RyanC883 replied to Figster's topic in The Stadium Wall
what was that cap he had made out of? -
Today's Draft. Loaded up on offensive talent. Could have used a safety. 27. Jaxon Smith-Njigba WR Ohio State (BPA, and position of need. nice). 59. Jahmyr Gibbs RB Alabama (elite OTs likely gone, and somehow he was still here. A very good RB that in other drafts would be the top RB). 91. Luke Wypler OC Ohio State (fantastic center to bolster the IOL. Unclear, however, if he can play Guard until Morse retires.). 130. Jaxson Kirkland OT Washington (can play OT or Guard. Gave up no sacks last year) 139. Nathaniel Dell WR Houston (small/slot WR who can also lineup outside. Rated by some in the top 10 WRs in the draft) 205. Cam Jones LB Indiana (lengthy 6'3" LB. Light, but from what I read can shed some blocks. Decent Edmunds replacement).

i mean, not a terrible draft if this is what Bean does. I like the Vorhees and Patterson picks, potential day 1 starters. Hate rounds 1 and 3, although Smith may be our best rusher outside of Mille, but I'd rather go OT. Simpson looks like a playmaker all over, and if we get a creative DC he would be very dangerous.
-
my only issue here is the lack of a WR. We would need one in FA, and that's fine. Sometimes these mock drafts do not let a instant contributing WR come to you (see mine above). The first three rounds are great. Love this draft. Top 3 rounds are instant day 1 contributors, IMO, and you managed to get a WR, OT, and C. (in my mind, the best C, and perhaps the best OT). Like McIntosh as the RB, and the other 2 I have no idea about, but another G and DL sounds good. Only issue here is lack of LB to replace Edmunds, hopefully that is addressed in FA then.

Bobby Wagner - the solution to the Edmunds problem
RyanC883 replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
depends, if he really wants to be released to play for a contender he might. We should def try, if he says no, then I'd draft Overshow from Texas or the guy from Ark whose name I cannot recall. I agree Edmunds is likely gone, and that's fine, we get crushed on D with him there and without him there, so I'd rather spend big money on offense. (again, would only want Wagner at a good deal, but he is better than Edmunds, so ok spending money there, then instead of drafting Overshow this year, keep drafting offense.) -
2nd for Donald and give them Ed. Not sure it would work, but if they want picks, this would be fantastic. Also, no clue on the cap issues for Donald, can they eat the cap? I only watch him when Diggs is abusing him, which Diggs does to many CBs. But Ramsey contract likely too much. Keeping Jackson may be better use of CB money. Spend on a WR/OL in FA or trades.

Here is today's mock draft. Pretty happy with it. Looking forward to all comments. Will need to get a FA WR, however due to how the draft fell. 27. Peter Skoronski OT Northwestern (kind of a no brainer here. Played really well against some of the better rushers this past year) 59. Jarrett Patterson OG Notre Dame (can play guard, then slide to center to replace Morse. Good player who plays till the whistle) 91. DeMarvion Overshown LB Texas (Edmunds replacement). Lengthy LB. 130. Ronnie Hickman S Ohio State (seems like a good Poyer replacement or DB depth. If @YoloinOhio comes back, he could provide more insight here. Some other Big 10 fans may be able to also. 139. Kenny McIntosh RB Georgia potential 3-down back this late, sign me up. All Dawgs backfield. 205. Jalen Cropper WR Fresno State (seems like a slot WR with some ability to stretch the field. Good intermediate pass catcher if Dorsey can figure out calling those plays. I'd bring back Beasley and let him learn from him. Again, would need a legit #1/2 in FA opposite Diggs.
-
Steelers did this also when they won 2SBs. They would not take Edmunds with a huge contract or Poyer, but would replace them. You can’t lay 2 studs at every position (Edmunds and Milano, Poyer and Hyde), esp when protecting the QB and giving him weapons is more important. I don’t think Knox os a concern is Dorsey uses him properly.

outside of Allen, ouch. (well, Teller good pick, but not retained).
-
i like that, not even a draft pick for him!

Appreciate the breakdown. But, Go Pitt!!
