  1. these are the best offseason threads, (except for my attempt at Friday mock-draft threads ;))
  2. You make good points, and I appreciate the reply and info. I just don't have an issue with people becoming really rich pushing Jesus (and I'm not an Evangelist), but I totally get your points. 👍
  3. this one gets a big ** from me. Hurts gifting KC a TD, Refs gifting KC inability to come back. Really coaching didn't stand out today.
  4. they did let the Chiefs back in. One of my friends texted me they looked like the Bills letting someone come back with bizarre plays. But I'd be angry at the Refs also. Bingo.
  5. agree with all those points, but I think that KC will be just fine without Reid. They'll find someone who can get WRs open like that. When you have a good OL that can create time you get WRs open. I'd give the MVP to the Eagles OL (I know, has to be one person, and only once has gone to losing team). That said, no single player really stood out all game. Mahomes is a lazy pick (QB on winning team).
  6. eh, I dislike KC slightly more. Travis Kelce has to be one of the cockiest players to ever play. He's infinitely more classless than the Eagles coach, who in the example you cite likely got into an argument likely with a cocky position coach who questioned Nick because he's young. I also hate poor officiating deciding games.
  7. would love an OL like the Eagles have. They are not in the game without it. Converting 3 and 4th and shorts. That 2-point conversion. Just wow.
  8. Mahomes is more important than Reid.
  9. My response was that it is impressive, and that the Jets have done well in drafting, PERIOD. I included Breece Hall, not a 2nd round pick. Contrasted to our 1sts of recent years that are not impact players: Oliver, Rosseau, Elam.
  10. I wonder what happens if a Philly player had picked up the RB prior to when he gave himself up and carried him into the endzone...would be one of the most interesting plays in NFL history? I'm guessing it stops the play where he picks him up?
  11. can't even watch the post game. Really didn't care who won, but man, that flag was total garbage. You don't call PI at the end of a game unless it's really blatant and caused the WR to not catch it. That was neither. I hope the Eagles coach has the guts to call out the refs on it.
  12. McD’s time is past. Unless they win a SB, but then the award is already given out—which is nuts. Eagles coach has a good argument to win it also.
  13. why? They can’t make money? Likely that person has book deals also. the CEO of that would be comparable to the CEO of a large corporation in terms of responsibilities. It’s odd that people think they shouldn’t be compensated for that work. Also, did her Husband have a job? Two high incomes perhaps? Did she inherit money?
  14. interesting. guess the broadcast gig is not paying enough??
  15. I’d take a speedy downfield route runner with hands. Playing opposite Diggs should open that guy up a bit. Anyone you see that fits this mold? Seems like some guys in later rounds may be available (guy from Iowa State whose name escapes me and PSU guy). agree. I think we have our slot guy already or get Beasly back. Need that downfield catching threat. I’d be ok with OT in rd1 also if a good WR is not there. Also helps passing game.
  16. This is good, but should the team have rested him mid-season? Perhaps more than 10 pts vs Cincy? Also, hope he is watching film, working on footwork, etc while resting arm.
  17. it had better be the kid from Ill if that’s the case with the top OT and RB and WRs gone. Also, a nee DC who uses corners aggressively.
  18. I My narrative? What narrative. Please do explain.
  19. thought Milano and Miller would be higher, although Miller being that low is likely injury related.
  20. the fact the 49ers basically forced him out is insane.
  21. can’t blame him. Allen should also if this nonsense continues. Eventually the players will say either keep the bum coaches (esp Frazier) or trade us.
  22. was it development or play calling and player selection. Bean did nothing to improve the room and cut arguably the 2-3rd best WR, while Dorsey’s play calling was abysmal. Meanwhile one of the best offensive coaches takes Hall. I put this down as a negative.
  23. well, when we draft high we get non-impact players like Oliver, Edmunds, and Rosseau. They took George Wilson and got Breece Hall. They nailed the draft last year.
  24. at least Bean made the tough move of holding Chad Hall accountable for his (Bean’s) inability to get a top WR and waiving of Hodgins—while letting McD and Dorsey’s putrid play calling off the hook.
  25. no offense, but if your wife needed to find a replacement, she is: (1) perhaps crazy; and (2) should have posted here. I will volunteer for all client schmoozing events for her in the future if she needs someone!
