  1. @Virgil Thanks for running this again. Falcons, Bucs, Raiders. Thanks!
  2. not sure what center went after Humphrey that is an all-pro and can also play guard. Note: we had very weak guard play the last few years.
  3. Dorian Williams, LB Tulane if we don't get Simpson/Sanders/Campbell. Also like Carl Brooks, DL Bowling Green.
  4. Thought it might be entertaining to post all offensive and defensive mock drafts. Clearly, neither scenario will happen, but it gives a good idea of who the BPA or targets may be on offense or defense among us TBD drafters. Here are mine from today on PFN: Offense: 27. Darnell Wright OT Tennessee 59. Marvin Mims Jr. WR Oklahoma 91. Sam LaPorta TE Iowa 130. Jarrett Patterson OC Notre Dame 137. Andrew Vorhees OG USC 205. Aidan O'Connell QB Purdue Defense: 27. Bryan Bresee DT Clemson 59. Mazi Smith DT Michigan 91. Darius Rush CB South Carolina 130. Jammie Robinson S Florida State 137. Dorian Williams LB Tulane 205. Dante Stills DT West Virginia
  5. I don't know. The DL seems to be a victim of poor drafting/asset allocation: drafting Groot in the 1st (a decent player, a number 2 DE, not an impact guy by himself), then Basham, another #2 DE, a year after drafting AJ are huge misses.
  6. did Campbell pick the top 10 last year in their exact spot, or just who went in the top 10? Either one is impressive.
  7. not neglect, just incompetence like with the DL, which ironically contributed to missing on all pro C/Gs.
  8. Bean and the Bills brass have shown an ability to both be: (1) bad at drafting, particularly on the lines; and (2) stubborn in admitting an error and correcting it.
  9. fair point. But who else is out there at this time? Right now we have a worse DL than last year because we are missing a key rotational player. Not sure we will draft one better because we need to focus on OL, WR, LB, S.
  10. Milano may be that guy. Or one of our safeties (Hyde) agreed that without improving the OL everything else falls apart. Our line is terrible/average at BEST. Let's get JA a top line, watch how much better the passing game and everything else becomes. I don't care if it's a TE, OT, IOL--hopefully all three. We could get a top OT in Rd. 1, a C/G in Rd. 2, and a great TE in 3.
  11. Let's get back to talking about Hopkins. Neither OC we have had has been good enough, IMO. Neither has the talent building around JA in terms of secondary WR, RB, and OL--that's totally on Bean as he failed to improve the pass rush while bypassing all-pro OL in the process.
  12. Today's PFN version. Haven't seen Cam Smith available at 27 before. 27. Cam Smith CB South Carolina 59. Steve Avila OG TCU 91. Jonathan Mingo WR Ole Miss 130. Bryce Ford-Wheaton WR West Virginia 137. Dorian Williams LB Tulane 205. Max Duggan QB TCU
  13. Something way more serious for this. Bellicheck is washed up.
  14. Today's from PFN: Another no WR draft. But the board fell this way. Branch at 27 is a steal, although not an instant contributor this year, but had to do it. Likely we would trade back in real life to a team in need of a safety. Like the super-athletic Musgrave at 59. Can block and catch. We now have 2 #1 TEs. Wypler at 91, another steal, IMO. Can start day 1 if needed. Harrison is intriguing, seems athletic but needs to put it together. One place said he could be "the next Von Miller, or (some guy I never heard of)". Williams fills in at LB. Was very productive at Tulane, and likely goes higher if not small. Duggan is a great backup QB. 27. Brian Branch S Alabama 59. Luke Musgrave TE Oregon State 91. Luke Wypler OC Ohio State 130. Zach Harrison EDGE Ohio State 137. Dorian Williams LB Tulane 205. Max Duggan QB TCU as someone who went to Cuse, and wife went to PSU, this draft is approved. I'm not sure what to think about Porter. Guy seems more like a safety than a CB, but great at 27. Like the Turner and Johnson picks, total steals. Scruggs will be good if not needed in year 1.
  15. besides Flowers, I don't think anyone who is there at 27 moves the needle at WR this season. We need someone who makes an impact this year. Seems to be OT for the reasons you mentioned. Instantly helps JA and the RBs.
  16. hopefully his contract requires him to see a trainer before/after every game. Dude appears to lack the ability to properly stretch given that hammy last year. Overall: love this signing. Great guy who causes chaos in the other teams backfield as a backup DT. Fantastic. I also won't be surprised if we draft a DT in Rd. 5 or so--someone who just eats space.
  17. Thanks! I'll take any input here. There do appear to be a lot of undersized "run" guys in that 4-5 range. Williams from Tulane is my top guy in that range, Banks (Tenn) and Horton (not undersized, however) from TCU is interesting. There is a Pitt LB that is also interesting (Sir something), although he is more 5-6 range. Interested in if you have any targets in that range that stick out?
  18. I guess this is not too bad. Fan of Mims, but no IOL help is a huge issue. OL get hurt, it's part of the game. I want one (or both) of Tippman or Avila in the 1st 3 rounds. I could pass on Johnson in the above, we are set at safety next year, and then go after Robinson (FSU) later in the draft.
  19. is there a LB you like beyond the top 3 of Simpson, Sanders and/or Campbell that could be available in Rd. 2 or 3? letting OL get into him is concerning. Edmunds like? Otherwise looks good.
  20. I prefer Sanders: seems more athletic and has on-ball and off-ball LB experience. At this point, I'm hoping for a FA LB (Jack) and just getting JA as much help as possible in the draft. It's also interesting that Sanders and Campbell appear ranked differently depending on the source. Zero consensus.
  21. Today's edition. No WRs (not intentional, but never BPA). 27. Darnell Wright OT Tennessee 59. Drew Sanders LB Arkansas 91. Joe Tippmann OC Wisconsin 130. Jammie Robinson S Florida State 137. Andrew Vorhees OG USC 205. DeWayne McBride RB UAB
  22. then what is your theory? people don’t always act with common sense.
  23. please move to the awful mock drafts thread as well! No day 1 help for the offense—total joke.
  24. Here is Pro Football Network today. One of my favorites so far. Get a day 1 starter at RT, another OT, and a C/G. This provides depth this year, and a consistent core for the next 4 years or so. Mingo is going to be a stud at WR, and Robinson and McBride have both been in Brooks' top 5 in their respective positions during his first 2 rankings. McBride led college in yards after contact. This draft also assumes LB Jack or someone else at LB in FA. 27. Darnell Wright OT Tennessee 59. Joe Tippmann OC Wisconsin 91. Matthew Bergeron OT Syracuse 130. Jonathan Mingo WR Ole Miss 137. Jammie Robinson S Florida State 205. DeWayne McBride RB UAB Love the unrealistic one! 4 potential day 1 starters. The I like, Van Ness, and I could be wrong, seems to not have the production in college that lives up to his ability. Am I wrong here? Sanders also worries me a bit as a tweener who has not played a consistent on-ball, off-ball LB enough. Flip side: great versatility. Love 91-105 picks, steals.
  25. yikes. Prayers for you and hope there are better treatments for emphysema before it progresses too much.
